As Yuan quietly walked down the crowded underground streets, his distinctive appearance drew the attention of nearly everyone he passed.

"What nonsense are you babbling about? I am Officer Mei." The woman responded as she approached Yuan.

She looked at him from head to toe before questioning with a frown on her face, "Where is your battlesuit?"

"Uh... I lost it?" Yuan made a random excuse.

"Are you serious? You know it’s against the law to walk around outside without your suit, right? A misdemeanor, to be exact. Let me see your ID," said Officer Mei, gesturing for his identification.

Yuan pretended to look around his robes before responding, "Oh, right. I lost it along with my suit."

"What?! How can you lose something like that?!"

Yuan shrugged.

Officer Mei rubbed her eyes and sighed. "In that case, you are under arrest."

Before Yuan could respond, Officer Mei flicked her arm, sending a streak of golden light toward him.

The moment it touched Yuan, the golden light coiled around his body like ropes, binding him in place.

"?"

Yuan stared at the bindings with a raised eyebrow. The next instant, he felt every ounce of strength drain from his body.

Thud.

Deprived of his strength, Yuan collapsed beneath the immense gravity of this world. Even at full power, he had struggled merely to move around.

"This is why you wear your battlesuit outside," she remarked. "That being said, I’m actually impressed that you’re walking around without your suit, since it helps resist the immense energy of this world."

Then Officer Mei grabbed the bind on Yuan with her hand, lifted him, and carried him away, treating him like luggage.

"Where are you bringing me?" Yuan inquired calmly despite his situation.

"Where else? The station, so I can identify and charge you."

Yuan fell silent after that and allowed her to take him away.

Some time later, they arrived at the station.

"Oh? Who is this weirdo you brought back, Officer Mei?"

The moment they entered the station, the others inside turned to stare at Yuan with curious expressions.

"Some idiot walking around without his suit or identification," she calmly replied.

"Hahaha!"

The entire room burst with laughter.

"Anyway, I’m going to run his prints so I can charge him properly."

"The room’s free, so go ahead."

Officer Mei nodded and carried Yuan into another room.

"I’m going to loosen your restraints to retrieve some of your blood now," Officer Mei remarked as she seated Yuan on a seat with a machine right next to it.

"Don’t do anything stupid," she then warned.

Yuan silently nodded.

After removing his restraints, Officer Mei grabbed his hand and fed it into the machine.

Yuan could immediately feel something prick his finger before drawing his blood.

"Why are you staring at me so intently?" Officer Mei questioned.

"You resemble someone that I know," he said.

"Meixiu?" she asked.

Yuan nodded.

"Is that so?" she muttered indifferently before turning toward the machine that had begun to beep.

"Huh?" Officer Mei’s expression turned puzzled when she saw the results.

"What’s going on? Inconclusive? How’s that possible?"

She fell silent, then, after a moment’s thought, said, "I am going to take the test again due to an unexpected error."

"Do as you please, but it probably won’t work," Yuan remarked.

"What do you mean?" she asked, her eyebrows raised in a puzzled manner.
