Chapter 1257: Invaders
Of course, Feiyun at his current cultivation wouldn’t be offended by mere words.
“Stand up first, I have something to ask you. Tell me more about this son of the sea god.” Feiyun thought there was a source to this belief.
“It is a prophecy engraved on the immemorial well in the abyss. The son of the sea god will set sail on a holy vessel and carry out her will, becoming the new lord of the sea.” Suofei stood up and said.
Every creature in the sea had heard this prophecy before. Alas, this chosen son hadn’t shown up for eras and some have forgotten it.
However, the moment she saw the dao manifestation, she recalled the images evoked by the prophecy. Thus, she grew to respect Feiyun more and more.
She explained that the undersea world was divided into territories comparable to the ones found in West Bull.
The fishmen occupied a total of 2,400 territories. This seemed vast but in reality, powerful immemorial demon races had more than 1,000 each. The four major ones had more than 10,000 each, while humans had only 188 territories.
This was the reason why they wanted to reach the immemorial classification. It would be easier to claim more land and resources.
Given that Primal Ocean was larger than West Bull, the fishmen’s jurisdiction wasn’t overly impressive.
“From what I know, there should be several hundred thousand territories in Southrich. If you only have 2,400, this is only a small corner of Southrich.” Feiyun said.
“Do you wish to lift the sunken continent again?” Suofei asked since this might affect her race’s survival.
“This is the will of the sea god.” Feiyun sighed and said.
“I see, it is beyond our comprehension and we should be fine.” She heaved a sigh of relief and said: “Will you do us the honor of being our guest? I’m sure the priests and ancestors will be ecstatic to see you.”
Feiyun also wanted this because these older fishmen might know more secrets regarding Southrich.
They waited until the turtle and the fruit returned before delving into the sea.
“The stench of blood, something terrible is happening!” Once they got closer, Suofei was shocked.
Blood stained the seawater and fishmen’s corpses were scattered about.
She glared furiously at the turtle.
“Don’t look at me, I didn’t kill anyone. I was very careful.” The turtle said innocently.
“Not powers from our world, it must be the foreign invaders, they’re here!” Feiyun frowned.
“How do you know?” She became afraid.
“The truths and laws are different.” Feiyun clenched his fists and two phoenixes appeared in his eyes.
She didn’t understand but the turtle was aware of Feiyun’s dao, Truth.
Each world had its own set of truths and laws. An apple had seeds, not bananas.
Feiyun felt the existence of other laws so he knew who they were.
Everyone became serious and got out of the water. They saw black clouds and lightning bolts in the sky.
The sea boiled farther ahead with bubbles and steam. Mist obscured everyone’s vision. Some flames started burning islands down into lava.
“Someone is boiling the ocean, a scene depicted on the destruction tablet.” The turtle said.

“Invaders!”
“Help me!”
“My child, no!!! I will kill you all!”
The screams of fishmen echoed as the weak were boiled alive. Corpses floated for millions of miles.
“Run Suofei! Go to Spirit Immortal World!” An old pseudo-saint flew out of the water with a gaping hole in his chest.
He pointed a water trident for an attack against something beneath. Lightning rushed out and turned into a devastating wave.
“Splash!” A gigantic claw broke through the lightning wave and captured him.
“Haha, cultivators in Lost Pearl are such fools.” Someone sneered before adding more strength, crushing the old man.
Blood and flesh splashed everywhere as he uttered his last words: “Suo-uo Fei, run...”
“Grandpa!” Suofei trembled but still prepared for battle.
However, Feiyun stopped and said: “You are no match for it. Old Mao, go kill it.”
The turtle had been eager to try and shot forward like a cannonball, severing the gigantic claw and saving the old man.
“World destroyers, right? I will teach you a lesson today.” He unleashed a sword technique, splitting the ocean into two halves and revealing someone standing beneath.
“Lowly being, you dare to bluster before me, Venerable Longshu?” The invader smiled deviously and his yin energy turned into flames. The yin and yang flowed within him enigmatically.
The turtle leaped forward for a punch. The venerable sneered and created a yin-yang symbol to block.
However, the turtle was faster and sent him flying with a hole in his head. It took a while before he stabilized and blurted: “Impossible! I am at the peak eighth level!”
“I better hold back, these invaders are too weak.” The turtle said.
“Finish him fast, I feel the presence of more invaders.” Feiyun said.
The turtle spat out the flame of a black tortoise and reduced him to ashes.
“It’s a mass-scale invasion?” The turtle said with a serious expression.
Feiyun nodded at first before shaking his head: “Perhaps. There are no saints left in Lost Pearl now so just one saint invader can be destructive.”
“Son of the sea god, please visit the well. We must not let them open the seal and release Abyssal Lord who is unstoppable. The whole world will be at risk then.” Suofei and her grandfather knelt before Feiyun.
“Abyssal Lord?” Feiyun asked.
The turtle felt his scalp tingling as he spoke: “A leader of the invaders sealed in Nine-layer Abyss, virtually impossible to kill, a being capable of fighting Immemorial Divine Phoenix directly. This was told from the deciphered runes on the destruction tablet.”
