Chapter 6373: Something to Rely On

“Has Black Soul told you about us?” the Monstrous God asked.

“Milord, I have only informed him about the Immemorial Realm Origin Beasts. I dare not divulge too much about the other details,” Black Soul replied.

“The Nine Heavens Secret Domain originates from the Immemorial Era. The four of us have been here since the very start,” the Monstrous God said.

“So... the four lords have existed since the Immemorial Era?” Chu Feng was taken aback.

There had been a resurgence of Ancient Era’s races in the present world of cultivation, but not many of them were from the Ancient Era itself. Those who survived since the Ancient Era were all formidable individuals wielding incredible means.

Yet, there were entities who survived the Immemorial Era here? How many years must they have lived? What kind of means could they have grasped?

These four entities were far stronger than Chu Feng had expected.

“There’s no need to be nervous. There’s nothing special about us other than being a bit older and stronger than the others. Hahaha.” The Monstrous God laughed.

Just then, Eggy’s voice echoed in Chu Feng’s ears, “That fellow still likes to brag despite having lived for so long.”

“Eggy, you’re awake! How are you feeling?” Chu Feng asked out of concern.

“What could happen to me? Don’t worry, I’m good. You should focus on your conversation with that big fellow. He might have some information about the Immemorial Cemetery,” Eggy said.

Just then, the Monstrous God continued, “We called you over because you’re heading to the Immemorial Cemetery. That place is unfathomable. Even the Spirit God, who possesses the Three Realms Divine Eyes, is unable to see through it. It's not something you can deal with at your level. You must be careful if you insist on heading there.”

“I understand.” Chu Feng quickly asked, “Elder, you are from the Immemorial Era. Surely there must be some information about the Immemorial Cemetery back in your era?”

“This is my first time seeing the Immemorial Cemetery. I have never heard about it before,” the Monstrous God said.

“Even those from the Immemorial Era have never heard about it?” Chu Feng was bewildered.

God’s Era had appeared many times before in the Ancient Era. Even the present-era cultivators had learned about it before its recent reappearance.

But the Immemorial Cemetery was shrouded in a sea of mystery. Its appearance was abrupt, and no one knew anything about it.

“We didn't call you over just to warn you about the dangers of the Immemorial Cemetery. We believe you wield great potential as someone who has left his name on the Conqueror Steele, but some things cannot be divulged prematurely, or it’ll weigh you down. We can only tell you when you are strong enough. Growth is important, but so is surviving,” the Monstrous God said.

Chu Feng understood what the Monstrous God was saying. They might require his help for something in the future, but he would have to become much stronger to be of help to them. They were still evaluating whether he could reach the level they wanted.

“Don’t worry, elder. I cherish my life a lot. If I could make a bold statement, if you are truly worried and harbor high expectations of me, you can bestow me with some life preservation means. I am not an inflexible person who insists on doing everything myself,” Chu Feng said with a smile.

“Shall I release an Immemorial Realm Origin Beast to help you overcome the Immemorial Cemetery?” the Monstrous God suggested.

“That’s a good idea,” Chu Feng replied.

“Good idea, your head! Those things don’t even listen to me. Do you think they’ll heed your command? Cough cough cough...”

The humongous Monstrous God suddenly convulsed and coughed violently. When it raised its head once more, Chu Feng noticed the light in its eyes had dimmed significantly.

“Chu Feng, it’s not that I don’t want to help you, but suppressing these Immemorial Origin Beasts is taking a toll on me. I don’t have the strength to aid you. You must work hard to become strong. Otherwise, I’ll have to end myself with the Immemorial Realm Origin Beasts when I can no longer suppress them. That will spell the end of the Nine Realms Secret Domain, and you’ll no longer be able to use the convenient teleportation formations,” the Monstrous God said with a much weaker voice than before.

Eggy scoffed, “What nonsense is this? He was still bragging about his strength a moment ago, but he becomes frail as soon as you ask him for benefits. I reckon he just doesn’t want to help you. Besides, the Nine Realms Secret Domain will become useless to you once you enter the Ninth Galaxy.”

In contrast, Chu Feng had no complaints. “Take care of yourself, elder. I have and will never loosen up when it comes to my cultivation.”

“I believe in you.” The Monstrous God looked at the sky above. “Spirit God, I am done speaking my piece. You can take him away now.”

Chu Feng’s surroundings morphed. An instant later, he returned before the Conqueror Steeles. The Spirit God and the Brush God were still standing where they were before.

Before Chu Feng could utter a word, the Spirit God’s eyes suddenly emanated a mysterious light that seeped into his eyes.

Chu Feng’s heart skipped a beat. He noticed his vision become exceptionally bright, and he felt like he could see through anything in the world. This was far stronger than his Heaven’s Eye.

“Remember these methods,” the Spirit God said as she relayed the methods to activate and deactivate the eyes.

Chu Feng quickly used the deactivation method. By then, he was already gasping for air. There was a sharp pain in his eyes, a sign that he had overexerted himself.

He quickly constructed a spirit gathering formation on his palms and placed it over his eyes to soothe them.

“This is a portion of the Three Realms Divine Eyes’ power. It strengthens your sight. I can only bestow this much given your current cultivation level. You won’t be able to withstand any more than this. I believe you have already felt it yourself,” the Spirit God said.

“It is an incredible power.” Chu Feng was impressed.

His eyes were already aching from the power of the Three Realms Divine Eyes. That was why he rushed to deactivate it. It was not a skill he could use for an extended time.

“Use it prudently, and it will only be a temporary burden. You know your body better than anyone else, so don't go beyond your limit. Otherwise, you may permanently lose your sight, and no one will be able to treat you,” the Spirit God said.

“I understand. I feel much more confident navigating the Immemorial Cemetery with your power. Thank you, Lord Spirit God,” Chu Feng said with a smile.

“You don’t have to flatter me. I bestowed my Three Realms Divine Eyes on you because I’m curious about the Immemorial Cemetery. I’ll be able to look into that place through your eyes. That’s all there is to it,” the Spirit God replied.

“Regardless, you are still doing me a huge favor.” Chu Feng smiled.

“You have a glib tongue.” The Spirit God smiled as well. “You should get going. Stay safe.”

With that, the Spirit God disappeared.

“You must take care of yourself, or else it’ll be a long time before anyone comes here again,” the Brush God said before disappearing as well.

Only Chu Feng was left standing before the Conqueror Steeles. He began making his way toward the Immemorial Cemetery.

The Nine Heavens Secret Domain’s teleportation formations were faster than anything Chu Feng had seen before, but they were linked to specific places. This meant that he could only teleport to the realm closest to the Immemorial Cemetery. It would still take some time for him to travel over.

“Elder, do you know those two people?” Chu Feng asked the Divine Deer after entering the teleportation formation.
