Death… And Me

Chapter 3976: Lack of Movement

Chapter 3976: Lack of Movement

"Oh, then that’s fine..." Rean sighed in relief.

Foliana didn’t know what to say. "Sometimes, I wonder just what is happening inside your head."

"That’s why I don’t even try," Roan commented on the side.

"No one asked your opinion," to which Rean rebuked.

"AHEM!" Tanxan stopped them. "Foliana and I get along well, but believe me when I say we truly don’t have those kinds of feelings for each other."

Foliana nodded. "What he said."

Tanxan continued. "The reason we called your attention is that both of us decided we are leaving after the Future Realm. Basically, after we don’t have to hide our cultivations anymore."

"Hum?" Kentucky was curious. "Why? Is something wrong?"

Roan could see the reason. "Our objectives are getting in the way."

Rean, Celis, and Kentucky looked at him. "How?"

Foliana explained from there. "The four of you only need cultivation energies now. Before, we were going everywhere to help find a source of Starlight Energy, but that is obviously not a problem anymore. You can totally stop in some corner after gathering enough Divine Stones and focus solely on cultivation."

"Tanxan and I are different, though. Sure, we also need Divine Stones, but we can get the stones ourselves. Our problem goes deeper. We don’t have the Celestial Laws."

Rean and the others finally understood.

We can’t forget that to reach the Celestial Realm, one first needs to have an encounter with Celestial Laws and absorb them into their bodies. They won’t comprehend the Celestial Laws, but those ’rogue’ Celestial Laws are necessary for the day when you attempt to connect to the Celestial Laws of the Celestial Plane. (Chapters 3682-3683-3684 for the complete Celestial Realm Breakthrough Explanation.)

By rogue, one basically means that those Celestial Laws weren’t supposed to be there in the first place. Many events could happen that lead to such an outcome. Thus, rogue isn’t a bad way of describing them, even though they are the real deal.

Victor commented that there were several ways to find those Celestial laws. In Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis’s cases, they got their Celestial Laws during their tribulation back in the Lisan Universe.

He also commented that the higher the rank of the Universe, the easier it was to find those Celestial Laws. Obviously, it can’t be just any Celestial Laws. They have to be Celestial Laws compatible with your own Major Laws. Foliana, for example, is comprehending the Laws of Lightning, obviously. So, if she wants to reach the Celestial Realm one day, she will need to find the Celestial Laws of Lightning and absorb them before that.

Neither Tanxan nor Foliana was fortunate enough to find those until now. The twins’ group had some interactions with Celestial Laws during their time in the Werdlem Empire, but nothing that could help those two.

Yes, higher-ranked Universes give you a much better chance of finding the proper Celestial Laws. The higher concentration of energies and elements gives birth to many more phenomena that could lead you to those laws. But it doesn’t change the fact that they are still extremely rare and hard to find. The search could take a lifetime, and you might still not find them.

Why? Because Celestial Laws are not something from this plane, but from the Celestial Plane. The ’rogue’ Celestial Laws that you find out of it are really rare occurrences, let alone the specific set of Celestial Laws that you need.

Now then, the twins’ group had no need to keep running around for the foreseeable future, truly. Once out of the Future Realm, they could focus on cultivation alone until they return to the Divinity Realm Peak Stage. That would take many years, regardless of how much energy they have. Even if you ignore those years, once they reach the Peak Stage, they can focus solely on attempting to reach the Celestial Realm since they already have everything they need.

At that point, even if they managed to keep up with the twins’ cultivation, Foliana and Tanxan would be stuck. Without their own Celestial Laws, they will not be able to go to the Great Void Black Hole and attempt a connection with the Celestial Plane. They need to have absorbed Celestial Laws beforehand.

Since it is unlikely that the twins’ group will be roaming around much, and Tanxan and Foliana need their Celestial Laws still, the best way is to go their separate ways. The two decided to go look for places in the A1 Universe where they could find those Celestial Laws. Other than the Werdlem Empire Main Universe, the A1 Universe is the best place they can wish for to start that search.

Rean scratched the back of his head, nodding. "It is sad, but you are absolutely correct. You will have a much better chance of finding those laws if you look for them on your own. The four of us won’t be moving much."

Roan had no complaints. "Do what you must. Both of you have helped us plenty of times, and you deserve to focus on yourselves from now on."

"Not as much as you helped us," Tanxan added.

"Can I go too?" Kentucky couldn’t help but ask.

Rean, Roan, and Celis glared at him. If looks could kill, Kentucky would have died ten thousand times. "Alright, alright! I’m joking, okay? So much killing intent... I can barely see through the red color, geez."

"Leaving the idiot bird aside," Roan continued, "this gathering here is a good opportunity for you two. There are so many continents that you might find some information regarding the Celestial Laws you need."

[He is right,] Sister Orb commented. [There are plenty of Divinity Realm Peak Stage experts in this A1 Universe, but only a few have found their own Celestial Laws and can attempt to enter the Celestial Realm Cultivation Level. When someone discovers a source of Celestial Laws, they don’t disclose it easily, if at all. You will have a hard time finding something like that in the Werdlem Network. Unless, of course, you are willing to pay for it. And be ready to pay a very high price for a piece of information that most likely won’t turn into anything.]

Foliana and Tanxan were ready for that. "Yes. We can use this opportunity to gather Divine Stones for our own cultivation or to buy information related to the laws we need. Not to mention, we might indeed find some information. We will do that."

*Clap!*

"Good!" Rean said after clapping his hands. "I’m sure you two will find your Celestial Laws. Who knows? Perhaps the day you two enter the Divinity Realm, you will also attract a Tribulation. If that happens, you won’t even need to look for the Celestial Laws anymore. You can use the Celestial Laws in the Tribulation since they will match your own laws."

"Hahaha!" Foliana laughed in response. "We both know how unlikely it is for that to happen, but we will keep our hopes high."

With that decided, Roan turned to Sister Orb. "Alright, tell us about the formations of the selection."
