Chapter 4044: And Another Plan
That was a good question, wasn’t it? What does Havira have to do with Hex- Hick at all?
However, Roan noticed something. "The Sunlight Realm was on the same planet where you left us. You also left Sister Orb in the Sunlight Realm for us to find. The Sunlight Realm was nothing but a manifestation of Havira’s Pocket Dimensional Realm that appeared after she was imprisoned. Could it be that the two of you were related since then?"
*Clap, clap, clap...*
Hick clapped and praised Roan. "You did good to notice it. Yes, she and I have a connection, even though Havira herself didn’t know about it. She knew nothing about the fact that I put Sister Orb there either. I found out she was imprisoned soon after I returned to the Werdlem Empire. I had to leave you two somewhere, so why not put two and two together? Thus, I left you in F956, on the same planet she was kept. She was oblivious to it all."
"To help get her free, I put Sister Orb in that place, and knew the system’s Destiny Attraction would sooner or later bring you there. I knew you would manage to do it. Sure enough, you succeeded, and Havira got out," Hick concluded.
That explained the reason for the twins’ group to be left in F956. However, Havira was still lost. "That hasn’t answered my questions at all!"
Hick knew that. "Rean, Roan, Kentucky, Celis. Can you guys make a resume of everything that happened since you got to the Werdlem Empire? Don’t worry, you can tell Havira everything, including the system. Just use a Divine Sense to explain it all."
"That would be the same as dragging her into our mess," Celis pointed out.
"I don’t care!" Havira insisted. "Would you rather take the risks or be oblivious? I can definitely tell you I will never select the second option!"
"If you don’t tell her, I will," Hick added. "Of course, there are a lot of things I don’t know about, so make sure to add me to this big resume of yours, okay?"
The twins’ group wasn’t happy, but they decided to explain everything. At least that would prevent a lot of confusion and questions going ahead. Rean was the one to make a full report, transmitting it all to Havira and Hick with a Divine Sense Message.
Many things happened, so even though they received the full content at once, it still took them a while to organize all their thoughts, especially Havira. Only around forty minutes later did Havira get the whole picture. "I say, I thought I was in deep shit when I got that Vial of God Blood. However, after hearing everything you have been through, I’m starting to think I was very fortunate instead..."
There weren’t many words out there that could hurt more than what Havira just said. "You don’t need to throw it on our face, you know?"
"So-Sorry..." Havira looked away.
"Alright! Now you are probably curious about what kind of relation Havira and I have, right?" Rick asked.
The twins’ group looked at him, waiting for the guy to continue... or so it should have been. However, Kentucky saw where it was going.
"The Vial of Blood from a God Realm Expert. Let me guess, it was yours, wasn’t it?" The Minokawa asked.
Havira confirmed before Hick could. "It was indeed his. I was fortunate to find it back then. Or maybe I wasn’t, considering everything I went through after acquiring it."
Hick continued from there. "What she found was a little bit of my body’s blood. Or, to be more specific, my previous body. I lost it when I brought Hyeoumu and Soul Gem out of the Werdlem Empire. That’s it. That’s the kind of relation Havira and I had back then, my blood."
The twins looked at Havira. "So you didn’t even know each other. If that’s the case, why is he here with you?"
Havira sighed in response. "He appeared just a few days ago. Until then, I didn’t even know who the hell he was. Yet, he said he could feel the presence of his own blood’s aura on me. Even worse, he knew my new identity as Clova was a lie. I had to let him do as he pleased, or I might have been exposed. It was then that he told me that the blood I got back then was from his original body."
"And you believed him?" Kentucky asked back.
Roan shook his head and answered in Havira’s instead. "It wasn’t about believing or not. She had no choice but to accept whatever Hick said. He knew her identity was a lie, and if she was exposed, she might have no way of escaping anymore. As far as she knows, she is still being pursued by that same guy."
Havira bitterly smiled. Roan nailed it. "That’s the gist of it."
Havira turned to Hick. "Now that they told me everything, including this Primordial Beasts thing, does that mean you were a Primordial Beast as well?"
"I still am a Primordial Beast," Hick corrected here.
"You are?" Rean narrowed his eyes. "But the system quest said that all twelve Primordial Beasts in the Werdlem Empire were imprisoned. You don’t seem very imprisoned to me."
"The system isn’t wrong," Hick continued. "I’m still imprisoned. Or, to be more specific, my original body is. I managed to get back to the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm with this new body here, but this is the limit. If I want to recover my powers, I need my original body back."
Rean and Roan could already see what was coming. "So, to get our Great Void Chart, we need to help you get your body back, is that it?"
"Hum? Of course not!" Hick said. "Let me tell you. If everything goes to plan, you won’t need a chart at all. You will be able to go back to Lisan whenever you want. But you will need to get more Primordial Beasts Free, though."
"What plan is that?" The twins’ group asked.
Hick pointed at Kentucky. "Your parents are helping with it. That’s all I will say for now."
