Death… And Me

Chapter 4047: Havira’s Request

Chapter 4047: Havira’s Request

"Hey, would it be okay if I stick with you for this?" Havira asked.

Rean looked at her. "Right! Havira, just what are you doing here? What with this protector thing? How did you get to A1?"

"Many things happened after I separated from you back in F956," Havira explained.

After Havira left, she found a corner where she could recover her powers. She settled into D109 for most of the years after she left. The good thing was that she had her son with her, Kiflon, the same guy who helped the twins and pretended to be a Sun Urpin.

No one knew anything about Klifon’s identity, so he was the one to use the Werdlem Network for himself and Havira. That way, Havira could refrain from connecting to the Network and be tracked down through it.

Eventually, she met Lufua, the princess of the Astral Wisps. Lufua was paying a visit to D109’s Divine Realm. To be more specific, the territory of the Astral Wisps in that Universe. Havira had recovered to the Divinity Realm Initial Stage by then and helped the wisps against a race of demon beasts trying to take over their home.

With Havira’s help, the Astral Wisp forced the enemies back, and she earned the favor of the Astral Wisps. Of course, that didn’t mean Havira was the sole cause. There were quite a few more Divinity Realm Experts on both sides. Still, Havira was the only outsider, and she stood with the Astral Wisps. As to why she did that, it’s that she had a friend in that race, and he also helped her stay hidden.

Lufua got to know Havira, and after a while, the two became good friends. With the Astral Wisps’ problems resolved, it was time for Lufua to return to A1, and she offered Havira a place by her side as her protector. Lufua was told about Havira’s situation by Havira’s friend, so she knew what to expect.

Havira then entered the Pocket Dimensional Realm from one of Lufua’s elders, and she knew the dangers of being inside someone else’s Pocket Dimensional Realm. Fortunately, they didn’t try anything with her.

As for why she was selected as the protector, it was precisely because she refused to connect to the Werdlem Network. Those protecting Lufua were required to hide away from everything until their term was over, so it was perfect for Havira to join the other experts in Lufua’s entourage.

Klifon was also brought with Havira, and he continued to be the one to use the Werdlem Network in Havira’s place every time it was necessary.

Eventually, this marriage arrangement was opened in the Zentian Empire, and Lufua was tasked with serving as their representative. For the Astral Wisps, a connection with the Zentian Empire would be of great help. The surprising thing was that Lufua wasn’t supposed to be the first choice. Instead, there were other Astral Wisps that could take that role.

It’s just that no one wanted to be forced into a marriage, especially since the husband-to-be was from a completely different race. First of all, Astral Wisps don’t reproduce like most of the races. They are simply born out of Starlight Energy and some other specific conditions. Even their way of selecting their king and princes/princesses has nothing to do with bloodline.

Regardless, that’s when Lufua came in. That’s because Lufua did want to take part in this of her own volition. Lufua was very confident in her talent, and she was certain she would one day reach the Peak Stage Divinity Realm and have her Celestial Laws absorbed. So, why not work on a way to get to a Great Void Black Hole? She didn’t know why the Zentian Empire invited other races for this, but the benefits were obvious.

If Lufua is selected, she will join the Zentian Imperial Family and will have no trouble with resources and background. For Lufua, this was a great opportunity.

Well, it wasn’t just for Lufua. Havira, who had been protecting Lufua until now, managed to recover her strength. This is the A1 Universe, which is much better, after all. Even the Sunlight Energy, which the Three-Legged Golden Crow uses to cultivate, is much higher than that of the lower-ranked Universes. Now she was back in the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm.

So, if Lufua was selected, Havira could use her connection with Lufua to get to the BH1 in the Werdlem Universe without the need for any contracts. It was especially so since Havira had already absorbed her Celestial Laws of Fire even before meeting the twins. Her main problem was that she couldn’t go after the Great Void Black Holes like other experts did. After all, that meant she had to show her Werdlem Energy Signature, her ID.

It was truly a very lucky thing for Havira to have met Lufua. Havira was prepared to do everything possible for Lufua to win and then allow her to use BH1 without having to reveal her Werdlem Energy Signature.

"And that’s how I ended up here," Havira concluded. "I want to help Lufua win, both for her own sake and mine."

She then looked at Hick. "However, now that Hick said he would be able to open a breach away from the Great Void Black Holes, I obviously would rather use his."

Hick was okay with it. "Sure, why not? You gave my blood to them, and they brought it back here. Let’s just say this is your payment for letting me use you to find Rean, Roan, Celis, and Kentucky. However, I must remind you that you are different from them."

Havira understood. "They can break through into the Celestial Realm without any issues, right? I heard that part. They even have a Peak Stage Celestial Body already. In my case, I have none of that, so I might fail. In fact, I most likely will."

"Yes," Hick confirmed her words. "I will keep the breach open until the power of those drops of blood is used. But if you fail to connect to the Celestial Plane, you can only go back and try a Great Void Black Hole. It won’t be for nothing, though. Every time an expert fails to connect to the Celestial Plane, they gain experience. That said, you will gain way more experience in a single breach than anyone else with their breaches from black holes."

"So..." Kentucky looked at Havira. "Are you going to leave with us?"

"I would like to ask you guys to wait a little bit," Havira asked. "I’m Lufua’s advisor during this wife selection. Even if I won’t use her authority to use BH1, I still want to help her for everything she did for me."

Rean didn’t see a problem. "There are just five days until the selection, test, or whatever that prince will choose to do. We can wait a little longer."

The rest of the twins’ group nodded. Even Roan and Celis wouldn’t complain about waiting just five days.

Havira was obviously happy to hear that. "Thank you!"
