Chapter 4139: Worth a Try

-Hehe!- Rean scratched the back of his head. -Well, we might need a little bit of your help again.-

He then explained everything that happened and how they were ambushed while they were transferring through the Great Void. Now, if they didn’t want to travel through the Great Void the normal way, they would need Xyrath’s ability to bring them to some other place they had been before.

Of course, Xyrath hated using that ability of his. It would prevent him from using his innate abilities for a decade or so, making him vulnerable. Yet, hearing the twins’ group story, he understood that the best choice was indeed to do it, as horrible as it looked for himself. "Is that what you call a little bit of help? Sigh... in any case, I can’t blame you all for what happened. Very well. Fortunately, you had been here in B38 to visit me less than a decade ago."

Xyrath had spent the decade with the twins’ group inside the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. Once he recovered his power and could use his abilities again, he had the team bring him to a good Universe. B38 was the choice they got.

There wasn’t any particular reason to select B38, though. They just didn’t want to go to a Rank A Universe, as there were very few Great Void Shifters there that weren’t being watched. The good thing about highly ranked Universes was that you could also find bigger black holes inside, so choosing at least a B-ranked Universe was the best thing for Xyrath. He used the time dilation around black holes to recover his strength. As the Chronoblade Serpent, he cultivated Time Power, and the region around black holes was full of it.

The best thing was that the twins’ group had been in B38 less than a decade ago, so Xyrath’s future erasing ability would still work on the twins. If it were over a decade, he would have to go somewhere else where the twins had been before within that time frame.

-Sorry, Xyrath.- Rean apologized seriously now. -It’s just that we truly don’t want to take such a big risk and waste all this time just to reach a Universe.-

-They are all inside already,- Rean confirmed. -I’m going out of the Dimensional Realm now... done. You can pull me any time.-

Once again, Rean felt the Spatial Pull, which he could resist if he wanted. Then, the environment around him changed. He was now at the bottom of a small mountain, looking at the Chronoblade Serpent in front of him. For a second, he looked puzzled, but in the next, Roan sent all his memories back into his mind. "Oh! I’m back to B38, it seems. I know Roan can give me back my memories of the last eight years, but it still feels weird in the first moment when I arrive."

Xyrath wasn’t very much in the mood for conversation. He once again had to stop his recovery. "I only recovered enough to be similar to an Initial or Middle Stage Celestial. Now I will have to wait another decade to start recovering again. Sigh... just send me into your Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. I think I’ll follow Laiana’s example and just hibernate until my time power recovers."

Rean didn’t mind and pulled Xyrath into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. He also entered it, joining everyone again. Xyrath wasn’t there, of course. He was sent to some other corner of the Dimensional Realm. "Okay, this fixed the issue of having to travel through the Great Void Black Hole. But what do we do now?"

Kentucky started. "Well, the B38 Great Void Shifter that we used does have a path to the A7 Universe."

Of course, they knew the problem. "But we can’t guarantee we won’t be ambushed again if we use the Abyssal Paths. That reminds me, what about the Werdlem Universe? All of the Great Void Shifters in the Werdlem Universe will bring us to that Starway Area. All the Shifters to other Universes are there, and after what we did, there is no way it is not being heavily watched."

"If we want to go to the Werdlem Universe without being detected, the best choice is definitely using a spaceship, or a Great Void Ship, to be more specific," Rean commented. That’s how the spaceships used to travel through the Great Void were called. "Fortunately, we have Senior Drofei’s help. It won’t be a problem finding the Werdlem Universe’s Location," Rean suggested.

Soltrex agreed with the idea. "We already know that Aurethra is most likely there, so whatever the method, we have to go to the Werdlem Universe. It shouldn’t be that hard for the likes of us to steal a proper Great Void Ship."

"We can think about the Werdlem Universe later," Roan intervened. "Let’s focus on going back to A7. For now, it should be safe to use the Abyssal Paths."

"Why?" Everyone looked at Roan, curious.

"Because we met the ambush somewhere halfway through the Abyssal Path journey. Then we used Xyrath to pull us back to A7, which was quite far away. I refuse to believe Cloe and the others were able to return here as fast as we did with Xyrath’s help," Roan explained. "But we need to move fast. Also, there is a chance that even if we aren’t ambushed half through the Abyssal Path transfer, there will still be some forces on the Great Void Shifters of A7 once we arrive there. It’s just that we don’t need to worry too much about it with Cloe and the others still far away."

Everyone agreed with Roan’s idea. It would save them a significant amount of time. "It is worth a try. Let’s go."
