Death… And Me

Chapter 4141: Making Friends

Chapter 4141: Making Friends

Cloco Divine Ocean was indeed the biggest one in the entire A7 Universe. There was pretty much no land in all of its entirety, with just a few fairly sizeable islands here and there. Looking at the map of the Divine Realm in that region, Cloco Divine Ocean was considered a single continent in its own right, even though it had almost no land.

However, Cloco wasn’t the same size as a normal continent. Not at all. It was considered a single continent, but it was at least over 100 times longer than the other largest continents of the A7 Universe. Compared to the second-largest one, Cloco Divine Ocean was nearly 122 times larger.

If the twins’ group did not use Spatial Gates and moved as fast as possible on Kentucky’s back, it would still take Kentucky days to cross the entire distance, and Kentucky was a Peak Stage Celestial!

When the twins’ group arrived and took a look at the information, they all looked at Hick, their expressions quite interesting. "Alright, you must have a plan, no?"

Hick looked at them and laughed. "Hahaha! Sure! We will separate and look into each and every turtle below a meter in length that we find. See! It’s a great plan!"

Everyone felt like crying. "Can you be any more useless?"

"Fuck you!" Hick countered. "If you have a better idea, then go ahead and say it! I’m all ears!"

Hyeoumu’s real body couldn’t be detected with Divine Sense or Natural Spatial Perception. Once again, it wasn’t that it didn’t appear in their Divine Senses, but that it would look to be nothing more than a simple turtle or a low-level demon beast at most.

Just how many would be in an Ocean of this size? If you consider normal turtles and turtle demon beasts that fit that description, you might have trillions of them, maybe quadrillions? We just can’t forget how big a continent of a Divine Realm can be, and this Ocean was over a hundred times bigger than that!

"Wait, but then we are even more fucked," Kentucky commented. "If we can’t tell a normal turtle from Hyeoumu’s body, we will completely miss it even if we happen to check the right one, don’t you think?"

Roan shook his head in response. "No. There was another piece of information in the Jade Slip I didn’t mention. Hyeoumu said that the turtle would immediately show a reaction as long as it received an infusion of Divine Energy from an expert of the Void Tempering Realm or higher. It should change into a deep jade color. However, it has to be a direct touch. You can’t simply channel your Divine Energy into the turtle from a distance."

"Alright..." Kentucky nodded. "So we will have to go everywhere in this ocean and touch all turtles, demon beast or not, that fit the description?"

Roan didn’t see another way. "Seems like it."

"Just what a piece of shit method," Rean complained. "Couldn’t he have thought of something more useful?"

Soltrex’s voice came from within the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. ’I’m checking the information about this Ocean. Even if the eight of us go out and start looking for all the turtles in different directions, considering our speeds, it would still take at least 4400 years. And that’s not considering we might miss the turtle entirely. It is not like the turtle isn’t moving, after all.’

"Eight?" Beelzebub looked at them. "There is no such thing as eight of us. Now that I’m in A7, I’m going after my Celestial Laws of Hunger. Anyway, I wish you all good luck. Oh, and thank you for the CD, Rean. If you need to contact me, just give me a call."

Before anyone could say anything, Beelzebub opened a Spatial Gate and left.

Well, they already knew about Beelzebub’s real objective, so it was already good enough that he helped them that much during the last battle. "Forget him."

Roan checked his CD, taking a look at the various powers of the Cloco Divine Sea. "Having just us looking for Hyeoumu’s body won’t do. That will take too long, and there is too big a chance we might miss him entirely. That would be the worst. We need to employ some helping hands."

"Are you sure?" Rean asked back. "Considering our speed, we would need several thousand Void Tempering Realm or higher hands to make a good enough difference."

"Yes," Roan was adamant. "The best way of doing it is by simply taking over the powers of the Cloco Divine Sea. There are five of them that stand above all others. Three of them are Sea Demon Beasts, one is the Sea Spirits, and the last one is a sect from the land-based races."

Kentucky looked at his own CD, curious. "A Sect of the land-based races? Here? How did they manage to get a foothold in such a place?"

’There is nothing surprising there,’ Soltrex explained. ’The Cloco Divine Ocean is indeed dominated by Sea Demon Beasts and Spirits, but outside it, the land-based beings are still far more numerous. This Ocean is bound to have many resources that everyone wants, so the land beings definitely made use of their higher numbers to take control of a chunk of the territory. There is only so much that the Sea Demon Beasts and Spirits can retain on their own.’

Roan agreed with Soltrex. "He is right. But we are quite lucky. This might be the biggest Ocean of A7, but it is far, far away from the center of the Divine Realm. It is definitely closer to the end of the Divine Realm instead. The powers dominating this Ocean shouldn’t be that hard to conquer."

Soltrex had a better idea. ’Conquer would be a waste of time. Not only would it catch too much attention if all five powers were suddenly overthrown, but that would create a lot of enmity. There is no guarantee that those who were part of these powers would follow our orders, and we couldn’t possibly supervise them all.’

Roan understood. "Right... let’s make some friends, then."

Rean patted Roan’s shoulder. "In that case, you should sit down and drink some tea. If you go out there, you would make more enemies instead."

Kentucky and Celis nodded vigorously. "Indeed."

Roan’s mouth twitched, but he had no answer to that.
