Chapter 4263: Crystals

Now everyone could look into the upgrade list at the same time, and so they did.

[Yin Yang Sanctuary - Level One: 50 Orb Points.]

"What is this one about, Sister Orb?"

[The same logic always applies. Your abilities are usually related to your situation. The Yin Yang Sanctuary is similar to your Yin Yang Unbalance Domain from back then. The difference is that it does not reduce the enemy’s cultivation. Instead, it nullifies Godly Pressure of the environment.]

"Oh!" The twins’ group was actually pretty interested in it. Godly Pressure weakens the cultivators; that is a fact that can’t be denied. Cultivators had various ways of fighting against it. Circulating more energy, techniques, arrays, and even the Sacred Relic were among such methods. They felt it themselves during the Godly Creatures’ attack, too.

Now, it was as if they gained a Sacred Relic field of their own, which could move wherever they went.

[However, there is a catch.]

The happiness didn’t last long in the end. "There is always a catch, isn’t there?"

[Well, what did you expect? Anyway, the only problem with the Yin Yang Sanctuary is that Rean and Roan must be within 50 meters of each other. Higher levels will increase this range, but that’s for later.]

Kentucky had a doubt. "Does that mean Celis and I can’t use it?"

[Exactly,] Sister Orb confirmed. [You two are also connected to the system because of your connection with Rean and Roan. But at the end of the day, you weren’t the original owners. You are only benefiting from its abilities to a higher level.]

Rean and Roan looked at each other, and they didn’t look that happy.

"Now, this is ridiculous. We are only sticking together at the moment because we are using the Wangamiglia Sect to build our foundation in the Celestial Plane. We intended to part ways once the sect had no more use," Rean said.

Roan, naturally, agreed. They had made it very clear back in the Great Void before ascending. "Which means this ability doesn’t even exist. I still have no intention of being dragged around for whatever reason. Just the fact that this connection with the idiot still exists is already bad enough."

[Sorry, this wasn’t something I created, but an output of the situation you find yourselves in. It is like the missions. Some I can create, others appear on their own because of the system’s traits.]

[There is a good thing about it, though. The cost of usage is none. You don’t need to use any Orb Points to keep it active. It’s just that the range is only fifty meters. Well, one of the reasons it doesn’t have a cost is that the range is pretty small.]

[Also, it doesn’t mean you can use it forever nonstop. Another reason that it doesn’t have a cost is that it also has a cooldown. You can activate it for a minute, and then you won’t be able to use it again for a day.]

"A minute is better than nothing," Kentucky said.

Rean shrugged. "Also, considering how hard it is to gain a Single Orb Point, we wouldn’t be able to sustain it for long anyway if it had a cost."

"Sigh..." Roan shook his head. "Whatever. We are still in the Wangamiglia Sect, so for now, we might as well make use of it." Roan was already starting to formulate a plan in his mind. Make use of whatever you have.

"What else?" And Roan answered. "We did what we could about the Godly Creature that was controlling that dead body. Now it is up to the various powers of Besgol to think of something. In our case, we will leave tomorrow for area F17 to complete Flantoihy and the sect’s cleaning mission."

That reminded Celis of something. "By the way, Roan, how many Godly Crystals did you get after stealing those Spatial Rings?"

Roan almost forgot about the Spatial Rings after he found the Pressure Concealing Crystal. "Right, there is that..."

Roan took out the Spatial Rings and unloaded their entire contents in the room. There wasn’t much inside, though. He aimed at Anchor Gods, which should be pretty new to the cultivation world of the Celestial Plane, just like him. If he targeted someone with a higher cultivation, he might have been caught.

In total, there were only 63 Godly Spawn Crystals, the lowest level... and one Godly Beast Crystal, which is obviously Level Two.

Roan narrowed his eyes. "That’s weird. Godly Spawns are creatures similar in power to Celestial Realm Experts. I only stole from Anchor Gods, which should be more or less the equivalent of Godly Beasts. I was expecting at least a few Godly Beast Crystals, but there is only one."

"They are probably too good to be negotiated," Celis said as he caught that Godly Beast Crystal. "As a thought. The amount of concentrated Godly Energy inside a Godly Beast Crystal is much higher than what I initially thought by a huge amount. As an Anchor God, you would be pretty idiotic to use Godly Beast Crystals for anything other than cultivation. Any Godly Beast Crystals they get, they most likely use for cultivation straight away."

Cultivation in the Celestial Plane was evidently many times harder than in the Great Voids. After all, you could only do it with Godly Crystals from Godly Creatures and some other methods not available in the Besgol Region. It made sense that almost no Godly Crystal could be found in the Spatial Rings.

Celis continued. "If you want to find Godly Beast Crystals, you will have to steal rings from Aura God Level cultivators. For them, what really matters is Godly Predator Crystals... I think."

Godly Predators were Level Three Godly Creatures.

Roan nodded and didn’t think much about it. "Whatever. Let’s use fifty of those to cultivate and keep the rest in case we need them later."

Celis took fifty at once. "Now that I’m an Anchor God, I’m more than enough to absorb these crystals until tomorrow for the four of us. I’ll use this Godly Beast Crystal as well."

"Alright," the others nodded. "Tomorrow, we leave for the mission."

[Ahem...] Sister Orb reminded them. [You saw the Yin Yang Sanctuary, but you didn’t buy it. If you don’t buy it, you can’t use it. So, what will you do?]

They stopped for a moment. Indeed, they needed to spend 50 points for that, and they only have 51. But they also need to think about the next level of their cultivation technique. Would it be worth the cost?
