Chapter 4083: Fables and Pride! IV
Schrodinger’s face seemed to be dismayed as he continued!
“We are feeble, and do not know anything. We could be eradicated in a few seconds, and we would not even know. It is immense weaknes!”
“It is terrifying as sometimes, I can barely close my eyes. I have not slept for eons as…what if I never wake up? If something like THE Living Paradox simply looked at me and told me to stop existing, and that would be it? To be at this level of Existence…is to be fearful. It is to be weak. And I truly do not wish to be weak!”
HUUM!
He became silent.
His words were heavy as Diviticus could not reply!
But he continued as if regardless of his fear…he had to continue.
“Above that, where THE Living Existences and The Creature are…at a stage where Principles simply flow through them. Everythings are a currency, and they have tapped into weavings of existence we cannot even understand. A level of Civilized Existence we cannot fathom. Ah…”
He shook his head with longing.
Deep, immesurable longing!
…!
Diviticus’s form trembled with the weight of this revelation. “What is the method to reach that scale?! How can we advance?! What is that Scale called? Is…there a level of Existential Civilization after that? After THE Living Existences and THE Creature?!”
A bombardment of questions as Diviticus seemed to be having an existential crisis!
And yet…
Schrodinger shook his head with something that might have been pity.
“You… are too far off to know things like that. The journey from Zero to One requires more than power…it requires fundamental restructuring of how you relate to existence itself. How you tap into Authority, how authority cycles through you, perpetuity…ah”
He shook his head ahead as he breathed out as if to calm himself.
He then gestured to his work. “Come, observe as I take into my being part of what used to be inside THE Living Order.”
…!
The words resonated with terrible certainty.
Schrodinger was extracting something that had been part of THE Living Order’s Everything.
His hands emerged from the bisected Inevitability holding something that hurt to perceive….a fragment of Disorder from Order itself, crystallized into form through paradox. It was black-gold, like solidified authority, pulsing with power!
“This,” Schrodinger said, holding the fragment with reverence that transcended possession, “is what advancement looks like. Not taking power, but understanding what power means. Not ascending through force, but recognizing that the ladder you’re climbing might be leaning against the wrong wall.”
He absorbed the fragment into himself, and for a moment, his beggar’s form flickered…showing something vast, something that existed across multiple weavings simultaneously before collapsing back into humble appearance.
Diviticus watched with awe, horror, and fear combined.
She was witnessing something that shouldn’t be possible!
“The Scale of Civilizational Existence…the Vakochev Scale of Existence isn’t about individual power. It’s about how many of existence’s rules and principles you’re playing by versus how many you’re writing. THE Living Existences write rules and principles. We…are still learning to read them.”
…!
The work continued, surrounded by impossible rivers and watched by someone who was beginning to understand that power, true power, might be something entirely different from what she had imagined!
Oh!
—
For existences who had lived countless eons, witnessed the birth and death of concepts themselves, a single day was akin to the passage of a second.
Yet as the hours dwindled and the appointed time approached, even these ancient beings felt something that might have been anticipation.
The Living Existences had already begun their convergence toward the chosen location…a site that had sparked debate until the final moments.
Some had argued for the grandeur of the Origin Folds, others for the neutrality of the Spaces between Folds.
But ultimately, with irony that wasn’t lost on those who understood such things, they had chosen the Transcendent Temporal Folds…the very place where Dead Existences had first torn through the veil.
The specific region was deliberately mundane: an empty expanse far from the Temporal Heart where the Living Temporals concentrated their power.
Yet as agreement crystallized, the space began its transformation.
What had been void became venue, emptiness became amphitheater!
Tens of thousands had already gathered. Living Origins arrived in formations.
Living Temporals materialized at moments they deemed appropriate. Living Spirits drifted in like thoughts becoming solid. Living Quantums existed in multiple states of arrival simultaneously. Living Elementals burned, froze, flowed, and crystallized their way into being!
Living Dimensionals unfolded from spaces that shouldn’t have had room for them. Living Concepts appeared by first being understood, then being seen…and the remaining Living Existences had their own entrance.
The Living Paradoxes, notably, were barely represented…only Duke Elagabalus and a handful of others lounging with the particular casualness of those who knew arriving early was just another form of being late.
At the center of this gathering impossibility, Living Concepts had taken the lead in construction.
Their forms…if they could be called forms…moved through the space like architects of reality itself, building with materials and with ideas given substance.
The structure taking shape was glorious. It was a coliseum, but one that existed in more dimensions than three. Ten sections divided the space equally, each one attuned to the nature of its intended occupants.
Portals marked each section… statements of identity, each one declaring which breed of existence belonged within.
From the portal marked with the endless spiral of Living Origins, two figures emerged: Duke Whisker floating with his characteristic dignity, and beside him, Noah, who was shaking his head with visible exasperation.
“Why drag me away from Aeternitas Concordia when the Kleos Concordat hasn’t even begun?” Noah’s voice carried the irritation of someone interrupted from important work.
Duke Whisker’s whiskers twitched with amusement. “All Living Existences arrive before the appointed time to provide input to the Living Concepts. How would you prefer your space designed? Your own area with specifications of your choosing? Or would you simply prefer to sit with the Living Origins?”
The suggestion of being lumped in with others made Noah’s eyes shine with the light of someone who had just been offered an opportunity disguised as inconvenience.
“Okay,” he said, his irritation transforming into interest. “Let’s see how everything is.”
