Chapter 4942: THE Youngest and THE Oldest IV
Shock and horror twisted his sickly features into something even more pathetic than his usual state. His eyes were wide with disbelief that bordered on denial. His mouth hung open as if he wanted to speak but couldn’t find words that would adequately express the devastation of what he was witnessing.
He’d never expected Noah to be as massive as THE Creature.
He’d known that THE Youngest was growing. He’d felt the curse burning through his foundations. He’d understood on some level that the being who had cursed him was becoming something dangerous. But this? Standing equal to size of THE Creature himself? Having an Absolute Effigy that matched the most ancient being in Observable Existence in size and presence?
This exceeded anything his deteriorating mind had prepared for.
When Noah looked down at these Absolute Effigies, his own manifestation moved.
His golden hand reached downward with motion that seemed casual despite the Existential implications. His fingers formed a pinching gesture, as if he was about to pick up something small and insignificant from a table.
And right after, the body of THE Living Elemental began to fly off the mountain!
The pitiful Absolute was pulled upward by authority that exceeded anything his weakened existence could resist. His Effigy flickered and wavered as Noah’s golden fingers pinched around it, dragging him through the air toward the manifestation that had claimed him. His face twisted with defiance that he couldn’t back with actual power, and horror that he couldn’t hide despite his attempts at dignity.
He floated upward, pulled by THE Youngest like a toy being retrieved by a child who had grown tired of letting it rest.
...!
Noah held that pathetic, curse-ridden disgrace of an Absolute before his golden gaze with expression that held no mercy and no hesitation.
He grasped both the Absolute Effigy and body of THE Living Elemental in his hands!
This absolute waste of space. This pathetic embarrassment of an Absolute who had dared to stand against him. The sensation of holding this being’s existence was almost unpleasant, like gripping something rotten that was falling apart in his fingers. The golden flames of his Effigy pressed against the sickly flickering light of Elemental’s manifestation with dominance that couldn’t be questioned.
He didn’t even want this wretch to be a stain that wasted any time from this moment.
But before Noah could act, THE Living Elemental turned his deteriorating Effigy toward THE Creature and Emotive. His eyes were wild with desperation that exceeded anything Noah had seen from him before. His voice emerged with pleading that stripped away whatever dignity he might have once possessed.
"I gave my Everything! Please, I was among you! In the Legends, in our stories, in the Earliest Folds!"
His words tumbled out with speed that spoke of panic consuming rational thought.
"Just help me against this being-"
HUUM!
Before his words could ever finish, Noah pinched his fingers.
And this dumb fucker disappeared.
The sensation was satisfying in ways that Noah hadn’t anticipated. One moment, that pitiful excuse for an Absolute was begging for salvation from beings who clearly had no intention of providing it. The next moment, his existence was simply gone from Alfheimr entirely, pulled into a place where his suffering could continue without polluting Noah’s immediate surroundings.
Prompts bloomed before his eyes.
Forced Imprisonment Executed
THE Living Elemental, that decrepit flaming ballsack of deteriorating foundations, has been forcefully placed into THE Infinite Desmoterion within your Organ of Civilization. He did not go willingly. He did not go with dignity. He went screaming into confinement that will last until you decide otherwise.
Within THE Infinite Desmoterion, infinite dilated time will ensure that his imprisonment feels like eons regardless of how much time passes in Observable Existence. He will be welcomed and disciplined by Ozymandias, who has expressed particular interest in breaking this pathetic creature’s remaining pride. Eventually, THE Living Elemental may progress in his Civilization, but any progress he makes will occur under your banner of existence. Anything he does will only further elevate you until you choose to put this dog out of its misery.
This was a fitting end for a being who dared to challenge THE Genesis Monarch. Let him rot in infinite time until you decide he has suffered enough. Or let him rot forever. The choice is yours.
...!
The prompts were cathartic to see.
Noah felt satisfaction spreading through his chest as the words settled into his consciousness. That wretched creature would spend what felt like eternities being broken down and rebuilt under the watchful gaze of Ozymandias. Every improvement he made would flow upward to Noah. Every fragment of his Civilization that recovered would strengthen the very being who had conquered him.
It was justice of the most complete kind.
After this was done, Noah got back to looking at THE Creature.
This entity didn’t say anything regarding his recent actions. His multicolored Absolute Effigy continued observing with the same patient expression it had held before, those swirling pupils tracking Noah’s movements without judgment or commentary. It was as if the disposal of THE Living Elemental was of no consequence whatsoever.
Noah didn’t mention anything about it either.
Why would he? It was simply taking out worthless garbage that had been cluttering the conversation space.
In the next moment, vibrant multicolored brilliance shone all around them!
The light expanded outward from THE Creature’s Absolute Effigy with force that pressed against Noah’s perception. Everything nearby began to fade as this brilliance consumed it. The mountain disappeared. The temple at its peak disappeared. The Absolute Effigies of Emotive and her bonded Undivided One disappeared. The twilight sky of Alfheimr disappeared.
Everything vanished into oblivion.
The only ones remaining were the Absolute Effigies of Noah and THE Creature, sitting inside an empty multicolored stellar space that stretched in all directions. Stars of every color burned in the distance, but they felt more like decoration than actual celestial bodies. The space itself hummed with authority that spoke of THE Creature’s absolute dominion over this environment.
It was as if they were no longer in the Primordial Realm of Alfheimr at all.
THE Creature’s voice emerged with calmness that made the stellar space vibrate gently around them.
"I hope you don’t mind."
His multicolored Effigy shifted slightly, settling into a posture that seemed almost conversational despite its scale. Within the Effigy, Noah could perceive the actual body of THE Creature, and both held an extraordinary air of power and nobleness that seemed woven into their very existence.
Every movement he made carried weight that spoke of eons of accumulated authority. Every word emerged with precision that suggested careful consideration despite its casual delivery.
"I did not want random interruptions here and there, and I have been very curious about you."
Those swirling multicolored eyes fixed on Noah’s golden gaze.
"I have tried to meet you eons in the past, but things never seemed to align. You became a friend of my friend, Anaximander, but even that was not enough for us to meet."
He paused, something like acceptance crossing his noble features.
"Alas, things are how they should be."
Noah gave a light nod to THE Creature as he processed these words.
He proceeded to respond with honesty that matched the directness THE Creature had shown.
"I only ever heard legends about you from Fold Dwellers and Living Existences. Stories of the Earliest Folds."
His golden Effigy burned with increased intensity as he spoke, the flames of Undifferentiated Fate swirling with patterns that reflected his contemplation.
"Every time I listened to them, I envisioned these grand legends and beings that seemed so distant and far off. That seemed like they were a different grouping of existences entirely."
His eyes met THE Creature’s swirling gaze directly.
"Amongst all the stories I heard, I was always curious about THE Creature. I had many questions back then."
He paused.
"But I only have one question now that may matter more than anything else."
The stellar space around them seemed to grow more still, as if existence itself was waiting for what would be asked.
"Are you there? Are you at THE Second Scale of Existence?"
