Chapter 5071: Melody! II
The golden light spreading through his arm bones felt warm rather than painful.
Alongside this transformation, there was the organ itself.
THE Hadean Organ of Civilization: Status Update.
Observable Force processed since last assessment: Volume exceeds calculation parameters.
Result: Organ capacity has expanded significantly.
Benefit Unlocked: 2 additional Civilizational Eons of Development are now available.
Current Civilizational Eons of Development available: 2.
Shall they be utilized for THE Hadean Desmoterion to observe what progress Ozymandias and others within may achieve?
...!
The question was a grand one.
Two more eons of development. Two more spans of compressed time within the internal prison that would allow those contained there to cultivate at rates that exterior existence could not match. Ozymandias had already achieved THE Proterozoic Scale through the first application of this capability. What could two more eons produce?
Noah did not even take an instant before he gave the command.
Both eons of development would be utilized.
Command Accepted: Initiating Civilizational Eon of Development (1 of 2).
Target: THE Hadean Desmoterion and all entities contained within.
Time compression: One eon of subjective cultivation commencing.
The feedback from his internal prison pressed against Noah’s awareness as compressed time began flowing through those contained foundations. He could sense Ozymandias moving within that space!
Civilizational Eon of Development (1 of 2): Progress Report - Midpoint.
Entity: Ozymandias.
Activity: Channeling influx of Quintessence Infiniforce and Observable Force toward skeletal transformation.

Result: THE Living Elemental has achieved THE Proterozoic Scale.
First entity other than Ozymandias to achieve Proterozoic Scale within THE Hadean Desmoterion.
...!
THE Living Elemental had reached THE Second Scale.
The same entity Noah had beaten with Ozymandias’s legs out of vengeance had now achieved advancement that most Absolutes could never dream of reaching. But...he was still a useless bum of an existence!
Command Continuing: Initiating Civilizational Eon of Development (2 of 2).
Target: THE Hadean Desmoterion and all entities contained within.
Time compression: Second eon of subjective cultivation commencing.
Noah observed the progress with attention that did not waver from Alexander’s ongoing work upon Beowulf. He could perceive both simultaneously, watching crimson gold blood fly in exterior existence while sensing Ozymandias’s focused cultivation in interior foundations.
Civilizational Eon of Development (2 of 2): Progress Report - Midpoint.
Entity: Ozymandias.
Activity: Attempting Proterozoic Organ formation rather than additional bone transformation.
Focus: Brain tissue. Attempting to transform neural structures into Proterozoic classification.
Challenge: Organ formation significantly more difficult than bone transformation. Progress slower than previous eon.
Current formation: 34%.
Entity: THE Living Elemental.
Activity: Stabilizing newly achieved Proterozoic Scale.
Progress: Adaptation proceeding normally.
Civilizational Eon of Development (2 of 2): Progress Report - Conclusion.
Entity: Ozymandias.
Achievement: Proterozoic Organ formation of brain completed.
Structure: All neural tissue, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, brain stem, and associated structures now transformed into Proterozoic classification.
Designation: THE Proterozoic Mind of Infinite Calculation.
Capabilities: Processing speed increased by factor exceeding measurement. Perception of Observable and Unobservable forces enhanced to levels approaching theoretical maximums.
Assessment: Ozymandias now possesses three Proterozoic Bone clusters and one Proterozoic Organ.
As Ozymandias exists within you and as you, all enhancements provide corresponding benefits to primary existence.
Civilizational Eons of Development remaining: 0.
...!
The moment Noah perceived these prompts, feedback surged through his existence with intensity that made him pause in his observation of Alexander’s work.
A cooling sensation began in his brain.
It spread through neural pathways that had never experienced such clarity, washing across his consciousness.
The accomplishment of Ozymandias, that Proterozoic Organ forming within the brain of his other self, resonated through their shared existence.
Noah’s thoughts accelerated.
His perception sharpened.
His awareness of everything occurring around him, from Alexander’s precise manipulations to the screaming of Beowulf to the Observable force flooding through Eon’s pathways to the transformation spreading through his arm bones, all of it became clearer than it had ever been before.
THE Proterozoic Mind of Infinite Calculation was sharing its capabilities with the one who contained it.
Noah stood upon the chest of a tortured Primordial Architect, holding a Proterozoic Bone in his transformed hand, feeling his existence expand in ways that someone like him was never supposed to experience!
As Noah ascertained his new power, he soon frowned and raised his head.
Something had changed in the surroundings.
The multicolored rain of the Pluvial Epoch of Existential Infinity, those droplets that had been falling across this region of THE Wastes since his authority transformed it, was being dispersed and broken apart. The rain that carried his Infinity simply ceased to exist in expanding spheres of negation that approached from three distinct directions.
Auras of glorious immensity pressed against everything within range.
Auras of beings at THE Proterozoic Scale!
There were three in total, and each one radiated authority more obscene than Beowulf had managed even before Noah anchored him with nine spears!
Before their forms even became visible, an extremely deep voice boomed out across the destroyed battlefield.
"You have made your point and will be left alone. Let Beowulf go."
HUUM!
The words pressed against reality with authority that expected obedience. They were a command delivered by something that had grown accustomed to commands being followed!
...!
After those words echoed out, the three Primordial Architects materialized from the directions their auras had been approaching.
The first was massive in ways that made Beowulf seem modest by comparison.
His form suggested a knight of impossible proportions, armor of blackened silver covering a body that had been built for war across eons beyond counting. But the armor was wrong. It had fused with the flesh beneath it, metal plates growing from skin like scales, gaps revealing not darkness but churning void that consumed light without reflecting anything.
His helm was a wolf’s skull enlarged to architectural proportions, eye sockets blazing with pale fire that saw everything. In his grip was a greatsword that stretched longer than most beings stood tall, the blade itself seeming to drink the remaining light in this region of destroyed space as it radiated a light of a complete Axiom!
Oh!
The second was not humanoid at all.
It was a mass of serpentine coils wrapped around a central body that might have once possessed recognizable form. Pale flesh covered those coils, flesh that glistened with moisture. But emerging from that pale mass were arms, dozens of them, each one ending in hands that clutched many Half completed Axioms that radiated authority even at this distance.
At the apex of those coils was something that might have been a face, features that shifted between expressions of hunger and contemplation without ever settling on either. It moved through the air as if swimming through water that did not exist, coils undulating with rhythm that hypnotized any awareness foolish enough to focus upon it too long.
The third was elegant.
He appeared almost human, a tall figure in robes of deep purple. His face was beautiful and terrible simultaneously, features too perfect to have occurred naturally. In each hand he held a curved blade that burned with fire on one side and frost on the other, flames and ice existing in impossible proximity without canceling each other. It also fucking shone with the light of a complete Axiom.
Wings emerged from his back, six of them, but they were not feathered. They were comprised of swords, thousands of blades burning with fire and ice as they formed rivers of crimson and white behind them!
Three Proterozoic Scale Primordial Architects.
Three beings who had arrived to collect their wounded companion.
Three monsters who expected Noah to comply with their command!
Noah looked at them and sensed the terrifying power they emanated. That power should have made him fearful. It should have triggered every survival instinct, should have sent him retreating.
But...
Instead, he calmly brought the Proterozoic Bone he had been holding in his transformed hand up toward his face.
He opened his mouth.
And he took a bite as he began to chew.
His teeth, enhanced by the Observable force flooding through his existence, pressed against the crimson obsidian material that had once formed the backbone of Beowulf’s hammer.
The bone cracked beneath his bite. Fragments of Proterozoic authority broke away and entered his mouth, grinding against his molars as he chewed with deliberation that seemed almost meditative.
Crimson gold fluid leaked from the corners of his lips.
The three newly arrived Primordial Architects observed this coldly. The wolf-helmed knight’s pale fires flickered. The serpentine mass’s coils stilled their undulation. The elegant figure’s perfect features twitched with distaste!
Noah swallowed.
He focused on the foremost Primordial Architect, the wolf-helmed knight who radiated power that exceeded the other two. This one had spoken. This one had issued the command!
"But...I do not feel like letting Beowulf go."
His voice emerged calm despite the crimson gold fluid still staining his chin, despite the fragment of Proterozoic Bone he continued to hold, despite the three Second Scale entities arrayed before him.
"My gut tells me the idea and concept of Beowulf will be ending here today."
He bit into the bone again, chewing as he spoke.
"He... has lived enough, and I wish to send him on his way."
