Chapter 3795 - Those That Oppress Us Shall Die
Yanri Shuang slumped to the floor in the Ninesun as tears poured from her eyes.
"You succeeded! Why’re you crying?" Bai Ye asked. She bawled even harder after hearing that. "Well, you shouldn't cry that hard and save some for later, cause it's just going to get more intense. You have to make it more measured, you know."
"How are you so cold? That was eight million lives, with some of them old and sick! There were good people among them too!" Yanri Shuang said.
Bai Ye paused for a moment before saying, "Good people? Bad people? Who decided that? Did you? What right did you have to judge them? What’s the Heavenly Dao, and how was it allowed to mark my people as slaves that all of you can oppress? Sorry, but I don't accept your definition. All I know is that those that oppress us shall die."
"Your people...." Yanri Shuang looked at the infant soul before her eyes that seemed to be formed from thirty million other souls. "Waaaaah!" She began sobbing in despair once more.
It wasn't just her. After a period of silence, the nine-headed black mechanical dragon emerged from the storm of destruction, appearing before Luori Xuanlie, Xing Can, and the hundred overflowers. They were the only ones in the Middlekin Star Ruin who still survived. The rest had all perished.
Their eyes were bloodshot and filled with anger. The highest possible form of escalation had occurred! It was something that would even shake the Ninefold Hellstar. Not even the cosmic god, Long Xing, had managed to kill so many in Starmoon Haven. The hundred-plus overflowers, having witnessed it up close and heard the cries of despair of their eight million brethren, felt their souls completely shaken.
"Li Tianming...." Luori Xuanlie took a deep breath. "I don't care whatever your status is. You’ve committed such a heinous act of inhumanity in the Upper Star Ruin under the rule of the Eightpart Pantheons. As such, everything you stand for shall pay the price ten thousand fold! Only then will our righteous fury be calmed!"
"Inhumanity?" Tianming stepped out of the ship and appeared before Luori Xuanlie. He slowly looked up and turned his bloodshot eyes to meet his gaze. "All of you tried to threaten me by dangling the lives of my people above this astral hole. Where's the humanity in that? But when I do the same thing, you call me inhumane? Are you saying that you count as humans, but we don't?"
Luori Xuanlie froze.
"Did you think you could decide what was just and vile just because you're powerful? You get to make up anything you want and all of us have to follow, is that it? But when we do the same thing, you get to call it evil and inhumane and demand compensation, eh?" Tianming said as he continued floating toward Luori Xuanlie.
"Xing Can! Yanri Shuang!" Luori Xuanlie called out the moment he saw Tianming leave the ship. Instead of running, he called out to his allies to help him. He no longer intended to debate the matter with Tianming; as long as they killed him, they would at least be able to settle the matter with Starmoon Haven.
All of a sudden, Tianming kicked Luori Xuanlie in the face without warning. How quick! was his first thought. Luori Xuanlie first saw Tianming's dragon-scale-covered leg before three gigantic shields exploded before his very eyes, reducing his gigantic head to stardust!
"What?!" The overflowers nearby were once more stunned. Why did it seem like Tianming had gotten much stronger than before? While they were still stunned, Tianming's arms sent lightning and fire coursing through Luori Xuanlie's body, coiling through his astrons and crushing every single one they came across!
Just like that, Luori Xuanlie's body exploded.
"Aaaagh!" He hadn't even had a chance to summon his lifebound beast before Tianming had eradicated him! His beast, a dreamfiend starbug, had only just emerged and angrily charged toward Tianming, yet the puny foundationeer held it fixed in place within space with his black left arm alone, much to the befuddlement of the hundred-meter-long armored bug! Where did his power come from?!
Tianming drew his sword with his other hand and thrust it into the bug, infusing it with the full power of his omnisentient threads and totems. Countless orifices burst open all across the bug's dragon-like body before it was turned into mincemeat. A nineteen-crest beast had died just like that, finished off by Quadform Radixbreath.
Xing Can's eyes twitched at the sight as he hurried to fly back into his ship, but lightning struck right beside him. As he closed the ship's door, he was shocked to see the nightmarish youth in the ship beside him! What speed, power, and destructive ability! Tianming definitely superseded all eighth-level overflowers on those fronts. His omnisentient threads continued growing in number, making him even eclipse ninth-level overflowers. The power of the Primordial God-Emperor was becoming more terrifying by the moment, even though Tianming's true level was still at the minor zenith of the Foundation stage.
"Li Tianming, let me negotiate with you on behalf of Starmoon Haven!" Xing Can said with a shaky voice.
"There's no need. You just have to die." With that, another agonizing shriek rang out from the ship with the nine-colored gear. When it opened up again, there was nothing left but remains in the form of stardust. A white-haired youth coldly walked out of it, causing the overflowers that had fled into the Ninesun to hide to draw a cold breath.
"Xing Can’s dead!"
"Quick! Run!"
They turned their fearful faces towards Yanri Shuang, pleading.
"We can't leave!" Yanri Shuang said.
"What?"
"Activate the ship!"
As they pleaded nonstop, a tuft of white smoke above them formed into Tianming's appearance. The black dreambreach fiend also appeared beside them. The two soul beasts stared at the group of people.
"This is Li Tianming's soul-type lifebound beast.... Why’s it together with the dreambreach fiend?" They turned and looked at the blonde beauty in disbelief.
"Yanri Shuang! Did you betray Starmoon Haven and the Eightpart Pantheons?!"
Their world had been completely flipped over. How could a maniverse-class genius of the Eightpart Pantheons betray them for the sake of slaves? If she had betrayed one faction for another among them, it would at least be understandable, but why side with the slave race? Without any answers, all they could do was take out their gold transmission stones.
"Don't bother. I already jammed all signals using the Ninesun. There's only one thing left for you to do," Yanri Shuang said.
"What is it?"
"Await your death." When Yanri Shuang finished, the white-haired youth appeared beside them.
"Let's kill them all and take all the middlekin stars back to the Sun!"
