Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4587 - A New Challenge!

Chapter 4587 - A New Challenge!

Jiang Qingluan’s feelings had reached Tianming, but he could not return them.

Although this Jiang Qingluan was the imperial daughter of the Vermilion Bird Starfield and not Feiling’s sister he knew from the Vermilion Bird Kingdom, they still shared the same name...

He liked her boldness and domineering spirit.

He admired how direct she was in love and hatred alike.

But in the end, he still could not take that final step.

“I...”

Just as Tianming was about to speak, Jiang Qingluan interrupted him. “Alright, alright.”

Seeming to understand what he was thinking, she snorted softly, stepped back, and glared at him. “Leave this side to me. Even if I can’t handle it, there’s still my father and Uncle Feng. Just go without worries. I’ll pretend you never came back.”

Ying Huo grinned. “Little princess, the way you say that makes it sound like Little Li’s about to die.”

Jiang Qingluan pursed her lips into a smile. “Maybe that’d be better. It might make me feel less miserable.”

She shot Tianming one last glare before turning to leave. Though her words remained sharp, sorrow could still be seen deep within her eyes.

Tianming watched her disappear from the Kunruler Palace.

“That girl’s just stubborn,” Ying Huo said with an exaggerated sigh. “If she’d been a little more aggressive, how could Little Li not fall for her?”

Tianming protested, “Nonsense. I’m very steady.”

Xian Xian immediately cut in, “Steady or not, all my old stock got destroyed. I want my pictures!”

Tianming and the lifebound beasts turned toward her. The “evidence” once carved all over her tree trunk had become completely destroyed during the battle against Shen Wu.

Only heaven knew how heartbroken Xian Xian had been. Fortunately, she had been enlightened that Tianming would naturally provide an endless supply of new material.

Tianming could only sigh helplessly.

On a rare occasion, Meow Meow opened its eyes to join in, yawning lazily. “She really does resemble the Jiang Qingluan from the Realm of Order.”

Lan Huang shook its heads. “Not alike. One’s huge, the other’s tiny.”

Ying Huo stared blankly. “Who was talking about size?”

Bai Feng floated out from atop Tianming’s head and said thoughtfully, “What exactly is the Chaos Skyjail? Why did so many people in the Realm of Chaos have counterparts inside it?”

Tianming shook his head. “I don’t know. It all feels strange. Even knowing this is the Chaos God Emperor’s body-universe still doesn’t explain the Chaos Heavenly Prison... It’s probably tied to an even deeper secret.”

At this point, the Chaos Skyjail was almost the only mystery remaining in the Primordial God-Emperor’s universe.

Ying Huo guessed, “Dad and Mom probably know the truth. Maybe we’ll find the answer in the Realm of Worldgazing.”

“Right.” Tianming nodded firmly. “What matters most now is getting stronger. Since things here have settled down, it’s time to return to the Upper Star Ruin and cultivate to the Primocosmic stage.”

More than anything, he feared the remaining four Aeternal Beings awakening suddenly while he was still here. It would spell disaster for the entire Realm of Chaos if they came here. Zi Zhen was the only top-tier combatants who could enter to support him..

Before leaving, however, he still had to bid farewell to everyone.

Inside the Stealsky Palace, he found Jiang Cheng and Li Yanfeng deep in discussion. These two imperatores would become the strongest rulers of the entire unordered universe going forward.

Li Yanfeng looked at the arriving Tianming and sighed reluctantly. “Tianming, planning to leave already?”

Tianming nodded. “Yeah. I need to return and prepare for the final battle.”

Li Yanfeng heavily patted his shoulder. “Good. Be careful.”

Jiang Cheng sighed emotionally. “Tianming, with your father and the others gone, this Skyplunder Capital already feels unfamiliar... But I’ll guard this place for them. No one will touch Nullity.”

“Then I’ll leave it to you, Uncle Cheng.”

Tianming smiled and took out the starsources of the four starcages, handing them over to the two. “The future development of this universe depends on you both now.”

Jiang Cheng and Li Yanfeng each accepted two starsources.

Jiang Cheng stored them away solemnly. “We won’t disappoint your father. When he returns someday, he’ll see an even more prosperous Realm of Chaos.”

Li Yanfeng laughed heartily. “I knew I made the right choice following you back then.”

Tianming laughed as well. “So the question is, Uncle Feng, are you planning to rename the Violetblitz Starcage?”

Li Yanfeng shot the question back. “What do you think?”

Tianming only smiled. “That’s for you to decide. How can the rulers get stuck on deciding a name change?”

Li Yanfeng burst into laughter. “Then I hope for more of those headaches. The more, the better.”

The three chatted happily, discussing the future before Tianming finally took his leave.

Above Nullity, Tianming observed every corner through Yin Chen.

Sage Xing, Sage Chen, and countless other cosmic gods were reminiscing about Li Muyang, all deeply admiring Imperator Skyplunder and awaiting his return.

Although Tianming had never said when they would come back... These cosmic gods would be waiting forever.

“I have to leave for now.” Tianming looked reluctant.

He took a last, long look at Nullity, where nova source spiraled endlessly within itself. He had formed deep ties to this place. Though Li Muyang and the others were gone, this was the place where he had come to understand both his parents and himself more deeply.

But now, he had no choice but to leave.

“I hope everything goes smoothly.” Tianming turned away, his expression growing solemn. The greatest challenge yet awaited him.
