Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4602 - Transformation into a Demon!

Chapter 4602 - Transformation into a Demon!

To Dongfang Taisheng and the rest of the citizens, the Sun had become their home.

Now, the skies above that home were shrouded in unimaginable toxic clouds, filling countless people with fear and despair. Who knew how long the Sky Palace Formation could hold?

Dongfang Taisheng's expression was grave. “Unfortunately, their feint worked. Tianming's gone, and now the Imperial Star is in danger.”

Wudi sighed. “Tianming just told us that the Gray Plague spreading across the universe is only one of Huang Liu's six disasters, the Famine Plague. If all six break through the barrier at once, the consequences will be unimaginable.”

Mushan Hong studied the poisonous clouds overhead and frowned. “At least the barrier seems stable. There are no signs of it being breached.”

Zi Zhen clenched her fists, barely suppressing the urge to act. “Why don't I go out and kill Huang Liu?”

“Not a good idea.” Wudi immediately stopped her. “We've only seen Huang Liu, but we have no idea how many enemies are actually out there.”

Dongfang Taisheng nodded. “Exactly. We can't act recklessly. Even if you and Wudi went together, it would still be dangerous. We should rely on the Sky Palace Formation and wait for Tianming to return.”

Everyone knew there were still four Aeternal Beings remaining. Letting Zi Zhen venture out now was simply too risky.

Wudi looked up at the sky.

The Six Mortal Disasters spread across the heavens like six layers of multicolored storm clouds, endlessly churning around the Imperial Star. Everyone knew if those poisonous mists entered the world below, the overwhelming majority of its inhabitants would die in unimaginable agony.

At that moment, a sinister voice echoed from beyond the Imperial Star. It was clearly male, yet hoarse and distorted, carrying a deeply unsettling quality.

Huang Liu’s chilling laughter reverberated through the void.

“So this grand Flameyellow Imperial Star doesn't have a single warrior willing to come out and fight? Hahaha... It seems Li Tianming has protected you well. Unfortunately, you won't live long enough to see him return. Every one of you will die in unbearable torment.”

Zi Zhen stared into the poisonous sky, fists clenched tightly. But she held herself back.

Wudi, meanwhile, carried the Flameyellow Coffin and flew to the edge of the barrier.

“You bastard,” he shouted with a sneer. “Picking on innocent civilians is all you're good for? I'm Tianming's daddy. Aren't you people trying to grab hostages? Use my old life to threaten him. That brat will definitely listen.”

Huang Liu laughed coldly. “Is that so? Then step outside the barrier. I will spare the others.”

Wudi rolled his eyes. “You can’t be that dumb to think I’ll fall for that. New deal. If you manage to break through the barrier, I'll surrender voluntarily. Then you can let everyone else go.”

He continued hurling insults and nonsense, deliberately trying to keep Huang Liu talking and buy time.

Meanwhile, everyone else below was making preparations. Whether it would help or not, every army was already assembled, prepared to defend their homeland to the death.

Elsewhere, Suishen Yao, Jiguang, and Qingyu were caring for the rest of the family inside the Sky Palace.

Wei Tiancang, Lin Xiaodao, Li Jingyu, Bai Zipin, and many others had gathered together, all watching the sky anxiously.

Even Yu Ziqian, who had only recently recovered from the Gray Plague thanks to Tianming's intervention, stared upward with lingering fear. “I never want to experience that plague again. Sky Palace Formation, please hold on. ...”

Jiang Qingluan immediately glared at him. “Stop jinxing it and shut up.”

That was the moment a sudden change occurred.

Beyond the layers of plague clouds appeared a cold yet alluring figure. She was over a hundred thousand meters tall, dressed in black, with breathtaking beauty and an icy, dangerous aura.

Wudi, Zi Zhen, and the others felt their expressions darken. They didn't know who she was, but her ominous power was clear.

“Another Aeternal Being? Number Two or Number Four?” Wudi asked while still "chatting" with Huang Liu.

Unfortunately, no answer came.

The woman smiled coldly. Then her graceful, seductive form twisted grotesquely.

Her flesh split as blood of four different colors leaked out, transforming into terrifying bone spikes.

Black.

Red.

White.

Purple.

The four streams of blood flowed across her body before coagulating into four massive scorpion tails.

Zi Zhen's expression changed slightly and even Wudi glanced at her. The woman's transformation felt strangely similar to Zi Zhen's own demonic form.

The exact details were different, but the resemblance was uncanny.

Many noticed it, and their expressions grew tense.

The transformation finally ended and a four-colored demon stood before them.

It was covered in jagged bone spikes and black scales, while its head had become triangular, with two curved antennae extending from its crown.

Dark, sinister energy swirled around it, inhaled and exhaled through countless openings in its flesh.

Its legs had transformed into black bladed spikes lined with razor-sharp edges.

The beautiful humanoid woman was gone, replaced by a monstrous amalgamation of flesh, bone, and scales. Its triangular eyes gleamed with ruthless malice.

Most striking were the four enormous scorpion tails five or six times longer than its body, each ending in a lance-like stinger of a different color. They erupted with terrifying power and thrust toward the Sky Palace Formation, which rattled alarmingly under the impact.
