That sight left everyone frozen in shock. The entire Flameyellow Imperial Star fell silent. They watched as the golden fireworks exploded in the sky in a most brilliant fashion. Yet, this was nothing short of a disaster. The Aeternal Beings had won!

"It can't be..." Suishen Yao, Jiguang, Zi Zhen, Moran, Qingyu and everyone else were stunned. It was as if a tout string within their hearts snapped at that moment. What followed was endless pain, sorrow and grief.

Countless gazes fell upon the golden fireworks as it quietly scattered into fine, golden dust into the surroundings. Feiling's crystal star of gold had been completely destroyed by the monochrome dragons and Nirvana Tribulation's power.

Even the little golden crystal star in Qingyu's embrace stopped crying, having sensed her mother's passing. It was such a devastating blow that she couldn't even keep crying. Qingyu didn't react much differently. She wanted to scream and bawl, yet she found that she couldn't make a sound.

Countless others shed endless streams of tears as a wave of sorrow swept across the Sun. Even through the Great Wall of Wudi, Wudi sensed the destruction of the golden star outside and immediately knew what had happened. Even someone as jolly as him couldn't bring himself to smile, finding it hard to believe that Feiling would actually perish at such a juncture. He even imagined how sad and angry Tianming would feel once he found out about it.

Huang Liu laughed manically and said, "This is the end of the road for all of you! Did you really think that you could keep creating miracles? How naive! Soon, all of you will die. Don't be too envious of those that pass away earlier!"

Moran was still being suppressed by the Taiji vortex of yin and yang. She had watched the golden star explode and felt endless guilt and self-blame. "I failed to protect Ling'er... Tianming, I'm sorry..."

She and all forty-nine of her sisters within her fell into the depths of despair. As Tai Er approached her, Moran suddenly saw something familiar emerge from the spot where the golden star had exploded. That was the necklace that Tianming had given Feiling, Ling'er's Love! All the golden dust around Moran flew towards Ling'er's Love the very same moment Tianming heard the heartbeat in the distance.
