Chapter 4597: Using full power to defeat Nangong Xiang

Chapter 4597: Using full power to defeat Nangong Xiang

"Of course, there is still a battle we have to win," Zhao Yanyan said to Lu Sansa.

She pointed out that there was still a battle they needed to win right now.

"Seriously, this is really tough for me," Lu Sansa admitted.

"You can do it; let’s do this," Shui Yixian said, trying to encourage Lu Sansa.

"Okay..." Lu Sansa understood and tried to compose herself.

She had fought hard, so she wanted to recover a bit before moving on.

*Boom...* An explosion rang out.

The sound put Zhao Yanyan, Shui Yixian, and Lu Sansa on high alert; they all sensed a threat approaching from a distance.

It was Shui Yixian’s clone, drawing closer with a shattered body.

"Huh? Is it still alive?" Lu Sansa was shocked to realize the creature was still alive.

It was truly surprising that the creature had survived.

The explosion had been incredibly powerful and destructive, and on top of that, the creature had lost its regenerative abilities.

It could now be destroyed and killed.

"It’s half-destroyed; what will you do now?" Zhao Yanyan asked Lu Sansa.

What would Lu Sansa do next?

"Of course, I want revenge," Lu Sansa told Zhao Yanyan and Shui Yixian; since she was already there, she naturally wanted to settle the score.

"Leave it to me," Lu Sansa said to Zhao Yanyan and Shui Yixian.

She was going to finish the business they had left unresolved.

Previously, Lu Sansa hadn’t been able to win because her opponent possessed immense regenerative powers, but now that those powers were gone and no longer functioning, she was determined to finish everything right then and there.

"Boom..." Lu Sansa channeled the last of her profound energy.

She poured it all into a final attack.

She was done playing around; she wanted to end it all right then and there.

"Holy Light Eye God"—an intense radiance flared in Shui Yixian’s eyes.

Instantly, the entire area within Shui Yixian’s field of vision was engulfed in blinding, concentrated light.

This was a new technique Shui Yixian had developed—a power of light that annihilated everything she looked at.

It was a technique that couldn’t be used recklessly, as it risked harming allies; she could only unleash it when there was no one standing in front of her.

And this was the perfect opportunity to test it out.

"Boom"—a massive explosion rocked the area.

Everything vanished, leaving nothing but a cloud of dust.

The attack obliterated everything in its path; nothing remained—even Shui Yixian’s own clone had been destroyed.

"A powerful attack." Shui Yixian had to admit it was impressive; it had managed to resolve the situation so quickly.

"Finally, I won." Shui Yixian celebrated her victory.

She had finally defeated an opponent she previously couldn’t beat.

"Good work. It’s all over now—let’s head back," Shui Yixian said to Lu Sansa and Zhao Yanyan.

"I’m exhausted after using that attack; I want to rest for a bit." Lu Sansa wanted a break.

She complained to Shui Yixian that she needed to rest.

"We need to hurry," Shui Yixian told Lu Sansa, urging her to pick up the pace.

"It’s fine; I’ll use the Profound Ark. You can rest in there," Zhao Yanyan explained to Shui Yixian.

"In that case, no problem." Shui Yixian finally relented.

"Hooray..." Lu Sansa cheered; she could finally rest.

Their mission had succeeded; now, they just needed to join the battle against the King Immortal.

"We’re definitely going to win." Zhao Yanyan was confident of victory; she believed they could win this battle.

Returning to Nangong Xiang’s situation...

Nangong Xiang was in serious trouble; she couldn’t win.

She could only manage to hold the King Immortal.

For some reason, the King Immortal was incredibly strong and difficult to defeat; he had grown immensely powerful.

The King Immortal was no longer holding back; he was using everything he had to win.

He was done with going easy on her; he wanted victory.

"Just give up; you’re no match for me," the King Immortal said to Nangong Xiang.

He told her to surrender so it would all be over.

"Never." Nangong Xiang refused to surrender; she wouldn’t give in.

"So stubborn. If you surrender, it’ll all be over. I’ll complete the Heaven’s Gate ceremony, allowing everyone to reach the pinnacle of this world. Just imagine what we could achieve if we reached the highest realm," he said to Nangong Xiang.

"It’s not worth the price you’d have to pay," Nangong Xiang told him; the cost was too high.

"Hahaha." He laughed at Nangong Xiang’s words; he found what she said amusing.

"Why do you bother caring about those people’s lives? They’re just ants. We can create them again in the future using the superior seeds I’ve selected." The King Immortal claimed the world could be recreated using the elite seeds he had chosen.

"You are truly mad; I do not like your methods at all." Nangong Xiang thoroughly disliked the King Immortal’s approach, so she refused.

"I still refuse," she told the King Immortal; she disapproved and rejected the proposal once more.

She was unwilling to sacrifice so many lives merely for the sake of a handful of power-hungry individuals.

"In that case, there is nothing left to discuss; let us settle this quickly." Since Nangong Xiang had refused for the final time, there was no longer any need for words.

"Die... 100 Million Heavenly Swords!" The King Immortal unleashed the ultimate version of his flying sword technique—his most lethal attack.

Nangong Xiang immediately prepared to withstand the onslaught using her heavenly flames.

Intense heavenly flames clashed against a hundred million swords; who would emerge victorious in this battle?

Nangong Xiang’s flames began to incinerate everything in their path.

The incoming swords were burned to nothing, one by one, consumed by the extreme heat.

Unfortunately, these were no ordinary swords; they grew increasingly powerful over time and began to pierce through Nangong Xiang’s defenses.

It pierced through and shot past Nangong Xiang’s side.

"This is bad." Nangong Xiang looked up; the situation was dire for her.
