Chapter 6773: One Of Us
Another renowned cultivator fell today, unable to resist. The lord of Beastmaster was pulverized like an insect.
Many spectators felt their dao heart crumble. They fell into despair after realizing their place in the world.
Phoenix Emperor and Dragon Ancestor sighed. They made up the trinity with Yudi. No other ancient ancestors could match them.
Today, their rivalry seemed like a joke. What was the point in scheming and struggling to maintain the balance in Beastmaster?
Honor and prestige mattered not with the arrival of two immortals. Once upon a time, everyone had a different interpretation of this particular concept - worlds without immortals.
Many disagreed with it, as the ultimate goal was to become immortal. This was especially true for emperors and ancient ancestors. Thus, it would be nice for immortals to be around.
Now, they understood it would be best for immortals to be absent. Otherwise, their lifelong efforts would be for naught. Moreover, the world could be destroyed at a whim.
“Gotta run fast if there’s an immortal.” An emperor murmured.
Meeting an immortal was not an honor but a possible beginning to a disaster. This was akin to ants wanting to draw near humans for food sources. This could end with being stomped to death and having their nest wiped out.
“Bam!” A figure was taken down from the nine firmaments and fell down next to Li Qiye.
“A supreme overlord!” Some spectators understood right away.
Meanwhile, Xiaoyue stood there leisurely as if nothing had happened.
When people took a closer look, they saw a strange creature with a gelatinous form with countless stars within. Although it was suppressed, its overlord aura was still oozing out.
Phoenix Emperor and Dragon Ancestor shuddered. They knew there was an overlord in their world but more often than not, this being preferred to stay in Ancient World.
This played a great part in Sky Zenith’s dominance and Yudi’s ascension to being the strongest cultivator in Beastmaster.
Unfortunately, this overlord was just as helpless. Dragon Ancestor understood that if Xiaoyue wanted her to die, she would have died a million times over. Li Qiye’s decision saved her from certain death.
“Immortals, please stop, please stop.” The gelatinous overlord understood the insurmountable odds.
These weren’t ordinary immortals so he begged for forgiveness: “This lowly one didn’t know of your arrival and offended you, please forgive me. You must be from a major world too. Do you know of my grandmaster?”
“Likeheaven Monarch’s prestige is of no use here.” Xiaoyue said flatly.
“Of course not.” The frightened overlord said: “I just want to say that we’re on the same side and all of this was a misunderstanding.”
His knowledge and cultivation surpassed Yudi. He could tell after seeing Xiaoyue in action that she was at the primordial level.
In Ancient, only three cultivators were at this level. Thus, it wasn’t shameful for him to ask for her forgiveness.
“What is your name?” Li Qiye smiled.
