Chapter 7002: Revival

Once upon a time in Heaven Pit, the high heaven’s avatar descended and overwhelmed the ambushers’ Heaven Hunt Ceremony. She unleashed an ultimate slash and killed more than a hundred immortals, along with thousands and thousands of overlords.

Her slash changed Heaven Pit entirely, leaving it with tribulations far greater than those seen in the rest of Ruin. Thus, this battlefield denied entry to even primordial immortals.

Within was a primordial tree, virtually indetectible. One needed to be among the tribulations to open a special dimension before seeing it.

This dimension was connected to all of Ruin, granting the tree access to rebuild the world. As long as the tree was around, the world could be rebuilt without the assistance of someone as strong as Li Qiye.

Despite the perilous nature surrounding the tree, a woman embracing a saber sat on a branch. She controlled the tribulations, causing them to flow around her palm and into her body.

This process initiated her personal tribulation, obliterating her flesh into pieces. However, primordial rays healed the wounds and destroyed the internal tribulation. She relied on her power and the tree to refine tribulations into liquid.

She didn’t use this liquid on herself but rather let it drip from her finger to an ancient jade coffin with another woman inside.

The woman’s beauty was otherworldly and transcendent since birth. The liquid was meant to revive her. This was going against the will of the heaven, inciting its wrath.

However, this wrath was forcefully suppressed by the saber wielder’s primordial aura. She wanted to revive the woman and remove all the negative consequences.

Li Qiye frowned upon seeing this. He teleported there and sealed all things.

“Young Noble.” She opened her eyes and stood up, prostrating before him.

“It’s one thing to come here from Three Immortals, but now you want to revive the dead too?” Li Qiye shook his head.

“Empress protected me until death during my ascension, I wish to revive her.” Desolate Ancestor said.

“Your karma won’t end so easily.” Li Qiye glanced at the coffin.

When Desolate Ancestor began her dao debut, Empress was far stronger and took care of her. Thus, Desolate Ancestor bravely fought against their enemies, resulting in her first “death”.

She began again and climbed to the next peak. Empress repaid the favor and commanded a legion to protect her during the immortal ascension. She never relented against the endless waves, not until her last breath.

“I know that reviving the dead is taboo, but this is my karma. I must resolve it before reaching the shore. Although it is difficult, I have prepared for a long time now.” She said.

“Forcefully dealing with these tribulations will crack your dao foundation, leaving behind indelible flaws.” He said.

“Yes, but I must do something since she had saved my life. This includes giving it back to her.” She took a deep breath.

“I see.” Li Qiye sighed: “I suppose it’s not out of the question, but the same cycle will begin again. She’ll become an immortal with the same karma. I don’t know if she can surpass it.”

“That is her path to take, my path is to return the favor and resolve my karma.” She said.

“Very well.” Li Qiye nodded in agreement.
