“A golden immortal.” A few immortals recognized the fortress and its pillars.

“Golden Machine Immortal, Gubu.” An immortal from Heavenly Fortress said.

“That’s the master of the fortress?” Someone asked.

“No, it’s the fortress itself.” The immortal said.

“Boom!” Despite growing into a colossal vine, it still couldn’t endure the energy and exploded, sending shockwaves strong enough to move immortals.

“Immortal power, there might be a treasure down there!” Someone shouted.

Everyone became eager to try but was afraid of the golden machine.

Mo Xiangsheng then noticed a particular immortal wearing an amethyst-colored robe and riding a cloud. His body seemed to be made of amethyst as well, seemingly far stronger than the rest.

“Amethyst Immortal!” Mo Xiangsheng happily went to him and requested: “Senior, please take action.”

“Take action?” He frowned upon seeing the unknown overlord.

“I am a member of Amethyst Alliance.” Mo Xiangsheng whispered: “Senior, I’ll tell you a secret, the celestial source is right beneath here. Don’t let the fortress race get it.”

“Ce-” He nearly blurted it out: “Really?”

“Yes, I swear it with my life.” Mo Xiangsheng said, having no other choice. At the very least, this would buy a little time.

Amethyst became motivated and took one step forward, sending a crashing energy wave forward.

“Fellow Daoist, this is the home of a member of our alliance, please do not destroy it.” Amethyst requested.
