Chapter 7072: A Fish

The liquid life barrier still couldn’t stop Li Qiye’s stomp, sending it and the platform flying. It split the ocean in half along the way, causing devastating waves.

The barrier ran out and shattered after the impact. This forced a bubble to appear above Incinerator’s neck, made of life force.

It contained a fish, seemingly absorbing energy from the water to stay alive. This surprised everyone because they assumed an evil immortal was hidden inside, no different from Heavenfall, Octopus, or Hidden Immortal.

“Looks like a pet fish...” Someone commented and found this ridiculous.

The fish was half a foot long with strange scales. It also had two long tendrils extending into Incinerator’s neck. Perhaps they stretched across the entire body.

“What is this fish?” Everyone shared the same question.

This fish lived inside Incinerator’s body and used his life ability to revive the others.

“Heavenly Whale.” Demise’s expression soured.

“So it’s you!” Zhao Dachui shouted.

“Heavenly Whale?” Listeners also found this name unfamiliar.

Given the title, it must be a creature of unimaginable size.

“This is a whale?” An immortal commented.

“Certainly doesn’t match.” Heaven’s Equal said.

The celestial immortals knew a particular secret: that Heavenly Whale was Octopus's closest confidant. However, they didn’t expect the fish to be inside Incinerator.

“Since when?” Dragongrasp asked.

“Since Heaven Pit.” Heavenly Whale finally spoke.

The four exchanged glances, wondering about the plan unbeknownst to them. Did Octopus and Hidden Immortal know?

“I didn’t know.” Zhao Dachui shrugged at Demise and Slayer.

“Such a coincidence that will save me so much trouble.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Heaven Pit is meant for you as well.” Heavenly Whale said.

“Hahaha, you all died here so was this a pit for the heaven or for you?” Li Qiye laughed: “I’m thinking about destroying your grave today too.”

“Save this for after you survive our ace card.” Heavenly Whale said.

“So much confidence in your master’s ace card. If they felt the same way, they would be standing here right now instead of sacrificing you to test me.” Li Qiye said.

Meanwhile, spectators gossiped among themselves.

“Did Octopus and Hidden Immortal predict the outcome of Heaven Pit, and even today?” Someone asked.

“It’s possible for those in their realm. Perhaps they saw the future.” A golden immortal said.

“That far ahead? It’s way beyond what we can do.” An immortal said.

“Just watch, we will slaughter you.” Heavenly Whale remained confident.

“Whale, whose idea is this?” Zhao Dachui asked.

“My merciful lord plans to recraft this world. When this battle ends, you will truly live again.” Heavenly Whale said.

“Is that so?” Zhao Dachui became emotional.

“What kind of existence is my lord? He will have no problem doing so.” Heavenly Whale said.
