Chapter 7095: Men Are All Dogs

Chapter 7095: Men Are All Dogs

“A friend, maybe, a cute daughter? You’re far older than me.” Li Qiye laughed.

“Men are just no different than dogs.” She glared and said: “Wiping your mouth clean after eating your fill, refusing to admit it.”

“Young Lady, I didn’t do anything.” He said.

“You touched me.” She had a threatening expression.

“A gentleman such as myself did no such thing.” He shook his head.

“Bah, who was it that sweet-talked me? Calling it ‘touch’ is already putting it lightly.” She said.

“Please, you’re getting more outrageous. I was only propping the high heaven’s will, nothing more. You’re going to say something worse if this keeps going.” He clarified.

“That’s right, if we had kept going, we would have sons and daughters now.” She said playfully.

“I’m not in the business of admitting things I didn’t do.” He sipped his tea.

“You’re in the swindling business.” She said.

“On that point, I concede. I did string you on a bit.” He smiled.

“Such shamelessness. I’m going to kill you sooner or later.” She kicked him several times.

He let her do so before asking: “Why are you here?”

“You can be here but I can’t?” She snorted.

“Of course not, it’s just that this place is hard to find.” He shook his head.

“Forgetting who I am? I have plenty of methods to find places that you can’t, little swindler.” She laughed.

“Don’t have to be so vague. What happened was, the enforcer left her runes here and due to your connection with the high heaven, you followed the traces.” He chuckled.

“Can’t you praise me just once?” She kicked him again.

“I suppose that given your omnipotent ability, the path was so easy to find.” He changed his tone.

“You were a better liar back then.” She laughed.

“I was a decent and honorable man back then too.” He disagreed.

“Honorable? As honorable as a dog, taking advantage of others.” She retorted.

“Not taking advantage, just befriending.” Li Qiye smiled: “Without me, you wouldn’t have a single friend and would have lived in that crappy area forever.”

“So you’re my benefactor now?” She angrily said.

“Close enough, because I gave you so many ideas instead of just staying as runes forever.” Li Qiye said.

“Should I offer my body to show my gratitude?” She joked.

“No need for that, just the sentiment is appreciated.” Li Qiye said.

“Tch, tch.” She clicked her tongue while looking at him.

“What?” He asked.

“This righteous act doesn’t suit you, I know exactly who you are.” She said.

“Is that so? Then I shouldn’t keep you waiting. Come sit down.” He patted his thigh.

“In your dream.” She said.

“Seems like you’re the coward, not me.” He said.

“Fine, so be it.” She patted his thigh and then rested her head directly on it, closing her eyes while being completely at ease.

He sipped his tea and let her rest.

After a long time, she spoke: “Little bastard.”

“What?” He looked down.

“Do you think I’ll be recalled?” She asked.

“Am I not here?” He smiled.

“Nonsense, you won’t be here all the time.” She said.

“You already know the answer, that’s why you’re here.” He said.

“I came out of curiosity.” She said.

“Is it just curiosity?” He asked.

“Both the messenger and the enforcer, in the end, were helpless. Their will came from the true self.” She said.

“You are neither, you were birthed from heaven and earth.” He said.

“Even a clever housewife can’t cook rice without grains.” She said: “I didn’t come out of nowhere.”

“Yes, yet here you are despite knowing it’s impossible.” He smiled.

“I’m no coward. Since this is such a rare opportunity, I had to seize some power and fortune.” She said.

“How did it feel?” He asked.

“If I continue, I’ll reach the messenger form. Powerful but definitely not a good thing.” She said.

“You’re you, not the messenger or the villainous heaven.” He shook his head.

“Easier said than done, severing the root. I have a long way to go.” She said.

“Yes, but there will be no root when I uproot the villainous heaven.” He smiled.

“That’s your path, I must walk mine.” She uttered coldly.

“At the very least, you won’t be recalled.” He said.

“I suppose that’s true, maybe I’m overthinking things.” She stroked her chin.

“Yes, you’re lucky for having met me, or you would have zero chance.” He winked at her: “I’m more than a benefactor, more like a second parent.”

“Have you no shame?” She gave him a disdainful look.
