Yu Qi returned home after dinner.

"Young Miss Yu Qi, have you eaten dinner yet?" Grandpa Hang asked.

"Yes. I have." Yu Qi nodded.

Yu Qi walked past the living room. She heard people talking in the living room. She checked out. She saw her grandpa, uncles, aunties, Tang Han Lee, and Ding Na Na gathered in the living room.

Grandpa Tang noticed Yu Qi’s head and immediately called her over. "Oh... Yu Qi, you are here. Come and talk."

Yu Qi walked into the living room and sat beside Ding Na An.

"Have you eaten dinner?" Su Xiao asked.

"Yes. I have already eaten up. The work is a lot today." Yu Qi stated.

"Really? Have your uncle reduce your burden." Grandpa Tang stated.

After interrogation, the middle-aged couple finally admitted that they sold stolen jewellery. They said that it was their daughter who stole the jewellery. Upon further interrogation, they realised their daughter was a maid working for our family. So, they came to arrest her.

The maid caught a whiff that the police had come and wanted to arrest her. So, she tried to run away. Fortunately, Chu Xiao managed to stop her from running away."

"What items has she been stealing from us? Tang Han Lee asked.

"It is not the first time she has done it." Grandpa Tang stated.

"The police said the stolen items that they knew were the necklace and brooch. I already checked my jewellery box and confirmed that the items had been missing. The necklace alone is worth 3 million. As for other items, we still need to check." Ming Yue said.

"So, what are you going to do with them?" Tang Han Lee asked.

"I already called our lawyer. We plan to sue them in criminal and civil law." Grandpa Tang said.

"Ask him to investigate that maid’s record and her parents as well." Yu Qi suggested.

"I will ask him tomorrow." Grandpa Tang nodded.

"Well, it is late now. Let’s continue at another time." Su Xiao said.

Everyone returned to their rooms. Yu Qi entered the room. Aoi, who was lying on the bed, lifted his head and saw Yu Qi.

"Master, that maid thought I was being possessed," Aoi stated.

The police contacted Grandpa Tang about the stolen items.

"Master Tang, I want to inform you about something." The police officer spoke up.

"Please speak, Sir." Grandpa Tang said.

"Well, we had recovered the stolen items from that gang. However, I am sadly informed that your daughter-in-law’s jewellery is not in the list." The police officer stated.

"Huh? Don’t you tell us that the middle-aged couple sold it to the gang? If it is not in the hands of that gang, where is it!?" Grandpa Tang asked in confusion.

"We already asked the gang leader. He told us that after the middle-aged couple came in and sold the jewellery, there was a woman, probably in 20’s came into the store and attacked the gang. Her target was the necklace and the brooch owned by your daughter-in-law. She did not take anything, according to the gang leader." The police officer stated.

"A young woman? Who is she?" Grandpa Tang asked.

"We have a picture of her from the CCTV of the store. We are launching a large campaign to search for this young woman." The police officer stated.
