"The reason why I am calling you because I want to ask you something about your daughter-in-law’s jewellery." The police officer stated.

"About my daughter-in-law’s jewellery? What’s about them?" Grandpa Tang was curious.

"That woman seemed to target your daughter-in-law’s jewellery specifically. So, I wonder if you can tell me about that jewellery." The police officer stated.

"I don’t know much about that. I will call my daughter-in-law. So, you can speak with her directly." Grandpa Tang said.

"Please do so." The police officer stated.

"Please wait for a moment." Grandpa Tang said.

Grandpa Tang asked a maid to call Ming Yue to come here. The maid nodded and went to find Ming Yue. Ming Yue was surprised when she heard her father-in-law calling for her. Ming Yue went to see her father-in-law.

When she arrived, she saw her father-in-law was on a call. Then she saw her father-in-law urge her to come closer. Then, her father-in-law handed the phone over to her.

"The police officer wants to talk to you about something." Grandpa Tang stated.

Ming Yue was confused, but she grabbed the phone and replied to the police officer who had been waiting on the line.

"Hello." Ming Yue said.

"Is this Madam Tang? The one who gets her jewellery stolen by the maid?" The police officer stated.

"Yes." Ming Yue replied. "Have you found them?"

"No... Actually, that is what I want to talk to you about." The police officer said.

"Huh?" Ming Yue was confused.

"Among the items that we recovered, we can not find your jewellery." The police officer stated.

"What? So, they manage to sell my jewellery to others?" Ming Yue was surprised.

"No... No... They did not sell them." The police officer quickly denied it.

"Are you telling me that the maid’s family did not sell the jewellery?" Ming Yue asked.

"No... Actually, they indeed sell the jewellery to the gang. However, after the couple left, a woman came to the gang and ended stole the jewellery from the gang. We have confirmed it from the video at the CCTV taken from that premise." The police officer explained.

"I see..." Ming Yue replied.

"So, I want to ask you something about the jewellery. The jewellery had been targeted specifically by that woman. So, do you have any idea about it?" The police officer said.

"Well, probably because it’s made of diamonds." Ming Yue answered. She was not so sure about that.

"Madam, where did you get the jewellery?" The police officer asked again.

"I got the necklace from my husband 20 years ago. As for the brooch, I got it probably 18 years ago, if I am not mistaken. Why do you ask about this?" Ming Yue did not see if this question was related.

"Well, we want to know if the jewellery hid something else. Like I said earlier, the woman only took your jewellery, leaving other valuable items behind. If she were just a normal robber, she would take other items as well." The police officer stated.

"I don’t think there is anything special about the jewellery. My husband bought it from a jewellery shop. I don’t think anything special about it. Or you can check it with the shop. I still have receipt for them." Ming Yue said.

"That will be nice." The police officer stated.

Ming Yue kept the receipt of their valuable items. It was her habit from her past.

"How do you want to receive the receipt? Do you have to come to get it or do you want me to send someone to the police station?" Ming Yue asked.

"I will send my officer to retrieve the receipts from you. When can we get the receipt?" The police officer stated.

"Hmm... You can come one hour later." Ming Yue arranged the time.

"Thank you, Madam for your cooperation." The police officer thanked Ming Yue.

The call ended there.

"How is it?" Grandpa Tang was waiting.

"The police officer will come later to take the receipt for my necklace and brooch to go and check it the store." Ming Yue said.

"You still keep the receipt?" Grandpa Tang was surprised.

"Yes." Ming Yue nodded.

"But will they be able to find the store?" Grandpa Tang asked.

"I don’t know. We should cooperate with the matter." Ming Yue said.

Even though the store might not have record about buyer, they should have record about their product. The police suspected something about the necklace and the brooch made them so special. So, they should ask the jewellery store about them.

Ming Yue returned to the store room. She searched for the receipts. Because she knew where to find them, she found the receipts right away.

Not long after that, the police arrived at the Tang Residence to retrieve the receipt. The police officer thanked Ming Yue and left immediately.

With the receipts, the police officers found the jewellery store. Even though it was 20 years ago, they still operated and even stayed in the same location.

The police officers entered the jewellery store. He told the staff that he would like to speak with the manager. The staff immediately informed the manager about the police officer. The manager came out of the office. He thought that their store was facing some troubles.

The police officer wanted to change the place since he did not want others to find out about this matter. The manager nodded and brought the police officers to his office.
