Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 532 - Capítulo 532: Calling Wife

Capítulo 532: Calling Wife

After getting Vatyra’s help for the small price of 10 turkeys, Rael walked back to the bathroom, holding the Spatial Communication Bubble tightly.

All he had to do was think about Zafira, and he would be able to communicate with her. Therefore, after taking a deep breath, that was exactly what he did.

The sphere began to glow, and shortly after, Rael saw a video on the other side.

Zafira and Lilith were in the sky, sparring against each other. Surprisingly, Lilith was putting up a decent fight, to the point where she managed to knock Zafira around slightly.

However, when it seemed like Zafira was on the verge of losing, she used a bit of her mana, turning her hair black as she entered the Colorless Goddess transformation.

At the same time, Lilith’s demonic horn grew, her power increasing vastly. Then, the two clashed for a final time, parting the clouds around them and spreading small cracks in space.

Rael watched this entire scene unfold with interest. The two had gotten pretty powerful. If anything, he was sure Zafira was on the level of a Grade 3 or low Grade 4. Lilith was the same.

Nonetheless, when the smoke parted, it seemed like Zafira had come out on top, with Lilith slowly falling from the sky, bleeding from her mouth.

Zafira sighed, rubbing her collarbone, which seemed to have shattered from the earlier punch. Yet, in the corner of her eyes, she spotted a floating crystal, immediately reminded of the person she had seen on the other side.

She hurriedly flew over to the crystal and grabbed it, holding her face up close. After just a few moments, Rael’s face came into view.

“Hey.” Rael smiled. “Been a few days since we last talked. How are you?”

“How do you think?” Zafira sighed, all her tension fading away. “Here I am, training on some desolate world, while my so-called husband I don’t even remember is chatting me up.”

“Ouch…”

“Just kidding~” Zafira giggled. “I remembered a few things after a good night’s sleep. For starters, I locked you up in a dungeon, didn’t I?”

Rael’s eyes widened. “You did. We had dinner after that, though. It was delicious, so I’m not holding a grudge.”

“Mmm… Grudge or not, I was a little rude. Sorry,” Zafira expressed with a slight bow, then raised her head, meeting his gaze again. “So when can we meet?”

“About that…” Rael mumbled, glancing around the bathroom.

Without saying another word, he pulled out a key, holding it up in front of the sphere. The source of this content ɪs 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹·𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑒·𝗇𝗲𝘁

Zafira recognized it instantly, her grip tightening on the crystal, nearly shattering it.

“Are you there right now?” Zafira asked sternly.

Rael put the key away and then nodded at her. “Yup. I arrived less than an hour ago. Finished everything I wanted to do on the other side, so now I have a lot of free time, you could say.”

“Okay, don’t you dare move,” Zafira replied, bringing her face closer to the crystal. “I’m going to tell Anubis to teleport me over there. Hmm… Should I bring Lilith along?”

“Does she remember me?” Rael asked.

Zafira shook her head. “Nope. I tried to quiz her about you, but even after I told her your name, she couldn’t remember a single thing. I kind of wanted to slap her for it, but I knew I couldn’t blame her.”

Silence ensued for a few short moments. It was awkward since Rael didn’t really know how to talk with her.

All the memories they shared together, she only remembered a fraction of them.

Of course, he planned on telling her everything he knew and everything he had gone through ever since the moment they separated, but he still couldn’t help but feel slightly uneasy.

“Oh, right. Do you mind if I bring Jane along?” Zafira asked out of nowhere.

“Jane? The Colorless Goddess?” Rael tilted his head. “Are you two close?”

“She’s my mentor,” Zafira replied. “Though I don’t think she likes you very much… She’s the only other person to remember you somewhat. Every time I bring up your name, she makes a weird expression.”

“Hmm…”

Pretty sure she could kill me just like Minos had, but if she doesn’t go with the soul ejection, then body destruction attack, I’m at least partially immortal, Rael thought, and then nodded.

“You can bring her along. Also, tell her I met Minos. She should understand…” he said.

“Minos? Okay.” Zafira brought the crystal even closer, planting a kiss on it.

“I’ll be right there… If you move, I’m going to find you and lock you in a dungeon again. Bye~!”

Before he could reply, she crushed the crystal in her grasp, causing the video to stop playing.

Rael sighed, tossing the remnants of the crystal on his side into the inventory and leaning back.

At least it wasn’t as awkward as the last time. She’s grown more cheerful and lively. I really need to be a good husband and greet her properly.

With those thoughts, Rael stood up and prepared to walk out of the boutique, but a certain someone stopped him.

“Papa, where are you going?” Uriel asked in a childish voice.

Rael flinched. Not because the child had just called him papa and definitely not because he had to think of how he was going to introduce this child to Zafira, but rather…

“Vatyra…?”

“Uhh…” Vatyra was equally speechless. “Did you put something in the turkey?”

“I believe this is what’s called puberty,” Burger chimed in, earning a glare from the two of them.

Naturally, Rael pulled Vatyra away for a discussion.

“Did you do something?” he asked.

“Dumbass, if I did something, would I have asked if you put something in the turkey?” Vatyra clapped back. “Rather, I think it’s because of how angels are. They have most of the basic knowledge imprinted into their minds from the moment they’re born.”

“So you’re saying it’s normal… Good,” Rael replied with a sigh. “I talked with my wife. She’s coming here, so go clean up the mess you made. Oh, and try to refrain from causing a massive misunderstanding.”

Vatyra grinned. “What? Like poor little Uriel calling me mama and calling you papa in front of your wife?”

“That…”

“Don’t worry about it,” Vatyra interjected. “I’m a master at dealing with weaklings. If it comes down to it, I’ll explain everything to your wife.”

For some reason, her words didn’t assure him nearly as much as she had hoped they would.

Nonetheless, since Zafira could arrive any minute now, Rael decided to at least spend a few Premium Coins tidying up the boutique for her arrival.
