Chapter 553: Practice Sesh
<Roulette’s Blessing: Infinite Draw>
<You have: 1 Free Reward Available>
Rael hummed in anticipation, and without further ado, he pressed on the reward.
<Ding!>
<Rolling…>
Even this is gacha? Rael rolled his eyes, staring at the interface, which had dozens of colors lined up, spinning in a circle.
All of the colors were golden, which meant that at the very least, this boon would be legendary-ranked.
And when the spinning stopped, he was met with a very pleasant surprise.
<You have rolled a [Buff]>
<You have gained [Poison Immunity]>
[Poison Immunity]
↳ You are now immune to any and all poisons.
“Haha… I mean, poisons didn’t affect me much before, but this really is something, huh?” Rael mused. “At this rate, I can get an immunity to pretty much everything if I’m lucky enough.”
Nonetheless, with most of his issues sorted, there was only one thing remaining, and that was to finally begin practicing his laws.
The Law of Destruction and the Law of Time were the simplest, and he had Gaia to guide him through the Law of Growth and the Law of Earth.
Law of Plasma is tied to destruction, I’d bet, so I could use plasma and destruction at the same time. I should be able to get the most out of it. Then there’s also the Fate Affinity, but with how things are progressing, I’m sure it’s going to passively increase without me having to do a thing.
So, with those thoughts in mind, Rael opened a window and jumped out, landing right in front of a large garden. It was wrecked, with several dozen bloodstains scattered everywhere. Even so, he wasn’t a sucker for aesthetics, especially when he was training.
Therefore, he found a comfortable spot to sit down and got straight to business, starting with the Law of Time.
Total Time Control efficiency: +75%
Maximum Time Domain Radius: 18,992 meters
It’s increased by around 1,000 meters since the last time I checked it. Pretty good, especially when I didn’t even bother to try increasing my limits.
He chalked it up to the dragon transformation doing that, and so, he did one last thing before beginning his training.
And that was, of course, to let his wife know he would be gone for a while.
<Unnamed: I’m going to be immersed in training, so I might not be back daily. I’ll make sure to come back every week though.>
After a few moments, she replied.
<Zafira Sutekh: Be careful. Since you’re not here, I’ll head out…>
<Zafira Sutekh: Can I bring Uriel to train with me and Lilith?>
Rael froze, not expecting her to ask something like that.
But did he really have a reason to reject her proposal? Of course not.
<Unnamed: You’ll have to take Vatyra along with you. She’s like a buy-one-get-one-free package. She’s nicer than she looks, but don’t test your luck. She is still a very powerful being who would most likely kill you if you do something wrong.> Dıscover more novels at 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡⁂𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚⁂𝙣𝙚𝙩
<Zafira Sutekh: Don’t worry, I have a lot of questions for her, and I could sense she had plenty for me as well. We won’t fight when Uriel is around.>
Yeah, even if you do fight, she’s going to obliterate you, Rael thought with a sigh and chatted with Zafira a little, disregarding his training for the moment.
A few hours passed in the blink of an eye, and that was when Zafira finally said her goodbyes, leaving him by himself again.
He felt a little strange and remembered he had forgotten to send Lilith a friend request.
I’ll definitely have to do that the next time I see her. Shouldn’t be too long though. I’m not planning to hole up like a sage here for the next 100 years or something.
Rael wracked his brain for a few moments, trying to see if there was something he was forgetting.
The Neural Core, maybe? My skill power increases by 1,000% for every strand I use during skill casting. I can create strands with resources like mana, so maybe…
<Neural Core – Grade Undefined>
<Progress to next core: Undefined>
<Purity: 99%>
<Rank: Supreme>
<Current Thread Count: 50>
(Create New Thread [+])
“…”
That’s pretty straightforward, Rael thought and pressed on the plus sign. Immediately, he was greeted with another interface.
<1 Thread = 1,000,000 DTP>
<1 Thread = 1,000 Premium Coins>
Hmm… It’s not as expensive as I thought, or maybe it is? These new Dragon Trell Points seem pretty valuable. Maybe they’ll help me with the Law of Time?
He put aside buying any new threads for the time being, as frankly, he needed all the mana he could get at the moment. Money-wise, he would save it for skills and levels.
It said I could level up restricted skills, so I can probably level up Crystalline Nexus and get the other effects. I can most likely level up my Resonant Duelist skill as well, since while I don’t mind fist fighting, I prefer the Violin Blade more.
Nonetheless, with his thoughts sorted, Rael decided to check where he was standing.
<Law of Time (Supreme) – 25.1% Mastery>
Ah, right. The True Fatekin race gave me another 10%. Maybe that’s why I could extend the domain further.
Nonetheless, with his progress as it was now, Rael decided to at the very least double the range of his domain, if not triple, by the end of the week.
It might not be possible, but for the time being, this was the only way he knew how to raise his Law of Time’s mastery, so he wouldn’t hold back.
Still… I can feel Adam’s gaze on me all the way from inside. Is he trying to spy on me? Rael pondered, then shook his head, realizing he had no reason to attack him.
So with that in mind, Rael closed his eyes and focused on his mana. It felt potent, very potent. With a single point of DTP, he could most likely cast every single skill he had with it.
And when he poured every bit of DTP he had into his Time Domain, he quickly realized just how potent the DTP was.
Maximum Time Domain Radius: 18,992 → 19,422 meters
Maximum Time Domain Radius: 19,422 → 19,935 meters
Hahaha… Maybe doubling won’t be a problem after all?
