Chapter 831: On Another World
After they were finished with the food, Rael went ahead and stepped outside into Celestara. He had planned on talking to Karina, but now all he wanted to do was deal with Solenne and the others.
And so, with him being alone at the moment… Rael thought of just straight up teleporting to one of the worlds Solenne would invade and wait there.
He paused for a moment, and then did exactly that. He formed a small spatial crack to a nearby solar system, and after going through it, took several dozen more spatial cracks until arriving on the planet in question.
As it so happened, the planet he had ultimately arrived on was some kind of blue planet, similar to Earth in size and appearance, but filled to the brim with animals instead of humans.
There wasn’t a single human on the planet, actually.
Still…
I did tell Renoir and Gaia about this, but as for Nyx and the others, they’re pretty much in the dark. I know for a fact Nyx is going to find out soon, but I know she’s going to be pestering me a lot more than usual when she does.
After all, he had been acting very irrationally according to her. Sure, it might appear this way, but truthfully, everything was calculated.
Anyhow, Rael went ahead and just sat down, then made himself breakfast. Just a few minutes later, Renoir appeared, and so did Gaia.
Both of them were pretty nonchalant about everything, so they didn’t get along. If anything, they were polar opposites. That especially seemed true when she just sat down beside Rael and crossed her legs.
As for Renoir, he leaned against one of the trees and let out a sigh.
“Attacking such a dead planet really is a shitty move. I would only do that if I had way more resources than I could ever handle.”
Rael raised a brow.
“Don’t you think that’s precisely what Solenne’s doing right now?”
“Feeding three people is easier than feeding quintillions, Rael. There aren’t enough chefs in the universe to even accommodate her army. As for food, I’m sure she’s just being a pirate and stealing it from other universes.”
Right…
Well, maybe. It didn’t matter much to him, since that didn’t change much.
And as expected, according to Nyx’s report, Rael suddenly spotted a large crack in the sky. Through it, a single person stepped through.
It was a man wearing golden armor, and he seemed to be from Solenne’s Blazing Sun Knight Brigade. With his shoulders broad and his jawline chiseled as shit, he had a very slappable face.
Yet the moment the man spotted Rael and the other two, he halted. For a moment, it seemed like his brain had been fried, but once he realized Rael’s identity, he immediately jumped back through the spatial crack and closed it behind him.
“Hm? Is that it?” Rael mused.
“Should I track where that crack led?” Gaia asked.
He shook his head.
“Nah. I’m pretty sure he’s going to come back with more people. It’s just that sending one person down to scout? Seriously?”
“That guy probably lost a bet and was sent down here. If I had to guess, the actual scouting shouldn’t be starting for at least the next several hours,” Renoir chimed in with a scoff.
Rael chuckled, then just sat back and waited patiently. As expected, after just a few minutes, the sky split open again. Just this time, at least one hundred people descended, all of whom were at least Grade 6 in power. Under normal circumstances, Rael would be shivering in his timbers.
However… why exactly would he be afraid of a few people like this, especially considering how weak they were?
So, without even batting an eye, Rael raised his finger and snapped his hands.
In the next instant, a Heavenly Slash appeared out of thin air, and with his Law of Infinity that had reached 50% Mastery and become much stronger, the power behind the attacks was immense.
So immense, in fact, that before any of the army men could react, their bodies were torn to shreds and their souls were devoured. Once every single one of the soldiers fell to the ground with their bodies torn to shreds, Rael finally stood up.
He dusted himself off slightly, and afterwards glanced over at Renoir, who, instead of worrying even a little, just cracked his neck and then glanced ahead of himself. In the next instant, five constructs appeared.
They were all the same strength as the one that had fought against Anastasia, so Rael knew they were strong enough to handle everybody there.
As for Gaia, she didn’t really even register the danger, and instead she was the first one to hop off the ground and jump through the spatial crack overhead.
Rael was next, and finally it was Renoir’s turn.
None of them faced any difficulties going through, and more importantly, the moment they went through to the other side, they were greeted with an extremely large plot of land. The planet itself was huge too, perhaps the largest Rael had ever seen.
Not to mention, the land they currently stood on obviously belonged to Solenne’s people, as, after all, with so many ornaments everywhere and soldiers gathered around, he would be stupid if he didn’t realize this was their camp.
Honestly though… even if Rael got this far, he felt a little too relaxed. If anything, this wasn’t hard. Maybe… it was just a little too easy?
What was the point exactly? He was trying to defeat a Grade 9 being. Solenne was powerful, sure, and while he would never underestimate her, he had gotten so much more powerful than her.
He could most likely wipe her out, as well as the rest of her army, by himself.
Nonetheless, Rael decided to calm down, and after taking a deep breath, he raised his hand, then quickly lowered it, crushing every single being surrounding them into paste.
