Running A Cemetery in North America

Chapter 142: The Arrival of the Evil God Council

"Slow down, walk slowly."

In the graveyard's backyard, Sun Yan was training his riding skills on a skeleton horse.

Though the skeleton horse was entirely made of bones, it was surprisingly sturdy to sit on.

And quite obedient too. Sun Yan just had to think slightly, and the skeleton horse seemed to respond to his thoughts like it had psychic abilities, immediately following his intentions.

Controlling it was quite convenient; the only trouble was that Sun Yan still needed to learn how to sit more stably on the skeleton horse.

So that he wouldn't be thrown off while it was running.

Beside him, Dahuang sat with its hind legs bent, sticking its tongue out as it watched Sun Yan practice horse riding.

Sometimes sparks would slip from its mouth onto the ground, igniting the already scorched earth.

"Horse riding, fierce dog, when I get a hunting rifle, I can go hunting in the nearby mountains for fun."

As Sun Yan got used to the rhythm of advancing on the skeleton horse in the graveyard, he couldn't help but touch the horse's neck and laugh.

In the West, hunting is a noble sport, only affordable for the wealthy, as it requires a lot of weapons and personnel protection.

Many old money simply head to the African Savannah to hunt lions and leopards for fun, without caring about protecting wildlife.

After riding a few laps, Sun Yan's backside started to ache from the bones, so he got off the horse, pausing today's riding practice.

"Looks like I need to get a saddle when I have time; otherwise, this skeleton horse can't be ridden for long."

Sun Yan patted Dahuang's head: "Make sure you practice your fire control skills when you have time. Once you're able to stop spewing sparks, I'll take you with me on exorcisms."

Dahuang, as a calamity hound, can breathe fire which makes its combat abilities undoubtedly strong.

Like the previous perilous journey to Fengka Town, if Dahuang had been there, Sun Yan wouldn't have needed to act, and those moths would've been burned to ashes.

But the problem now is that Dahuang hasn't been able to perfectly control its abilities yet, like a double-edged sword; Sun Yan has to leave it in the graveyard and doesn't dare to take it out.

Otherwise, if it accidentally sets a house or building on fire, no amount of work for a hundred years would cover the damages.

"Woof! Woof!"

Being Sun Yan's divine power contract dog, Dahuang had some mind connection with Sun Yan, and it barked twice to agree.

Sun Yan returned to the main house, and Sosia was lying on the sofa watching the news channel while Elise sat next to her with a looked of repressed resentment, glaring angrily at the indifferent Sosia.

Seeing signs of fighting in the living room, Sun Yan couldn't help but feel speechless: "What now? You two fought again?"

Elise quickly pointed at Sosia to complain: "She took my TV and won't let me play games. I barely got the Yellow Wind Great Saint down to just a little health, and she turned off my PS5, so I lost all my progress."

Sosia rolled her eyes: "You agreed beforehand, that if you couldn't beat that boss five times, you'd let me have the TV. This is your eighth time, isn't it?"

"You! But look at my progress, I was so close to winning!"

Seeing the two women start to quarrel, Sun Yan felt a headache coming on and quickly intervened: "Alright, alright. Elise, playing games in the living room every day isn't a good thing. After you finish eating, you don't throw away the trash, it's so messy. If a guest comes over in the future, my business would suffer.

I'll order a new TV for you now, and convert your room into a gaming room, with a fridge for snacks and drinks, and a massage chair and projector all set up. From now on, you can play games in your own room."

"And Sosia, regardless of whatever grudge you werewolves and blood race have, both of you are members of my graveyard now. No bullying colleagues in the future; others almost defeat the boss and you ruin it. You can't do this again."

Sun Yan scolded both sides a few words, then took out his phone to start ordering on Amazon.

Now he had around a million US Dollars in hand, so he was quite wealthy. Setting up a gaming room for Elise was an easy task.

It's small money.

"Got it," Sosia replied indifferently.

She put her feet on the coffee table and continued watching today's news.

'Yesterday at 23:10, an explosion occurred on Sam Street in New York City, suspect terrorists detonated explosives, with 7 injured. Specific situation under investigation.'

'Today's news, an unknown explosion occurred in New York City, the homeowner currently missing, suspected dead.'

'The astounding explosion in New York City, full security alert.'

On TV, the host was reporting the news seriously about the explosion in New York City.

When Sun Yan heard about the explosion in New York City, he couldn't help but say in surprise: "Kidding me? Someone detonated explosives in New York City? How is that any different from 9/11 back then? It's really dangerous these days."

"Seems like this isn't simple. Sam Street is a bustling area in New York City, populated by middle and upper-class people. Any casualties would have a significant impact on America, like an earthquake, and the stock market would drop a few points," Elise analyzed.

"Looks like America hasn't been peaceful lately. Better be cautious; don't go wandering around for a while. Staying safe at home is the best," Sun Yan sighed.

"Woof woof woof woof!"

At that moment, Dahuang's barking suddenly sounded from outside the main house door, creating quite a commotion.
