Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1117: 1114: Tribulation (4)

When the Tribulation struck and released a pillar of lightning on Corey, the already broken barrier of the Divine Kingdom of the God of Living Constructs crumbled into pieces.

The remaining puppets came together and formed a formation which would distribute the damage they took and also multiply their defensive capabilities and the defensive capabilities of the barrier they set up.

This defensive formation was one of the knowledge engraved into the puppets, and Corey was able to restore it.

However, despite the puppets using this formation to increase their defensive capabilities, it was not enough.

The moment the Tribulation struck the barrier they set up, it barely lasted three seconds before shattering into countless pieces.

The puppets tried to stop the Tribulation from reaching the temple with their bodies and powers, but they also failed.

Not only was this Tribulation on the level of an early stage Tier 11 attack, the puppets were way beyond half of their peak.

The strongest puppet amongst the hundreds of puppets was a peak Tier 10. If it was at its peak, it and the other Tier 10 puppets could have found a way to block the Tribulation which was a Tier 11 attack.

But these puppets could not even bring out half of their true power, and they could only slow down the Tribulation for another three seconds before they turned to ash.

When Corey saw this from inside the Forge, his expression was extremely grave but he didn't panic.

He still had another defense.

The kneeling colossal puppet raised its hand and blocked the falling Tribulation.

When Corey saw that the barrier of the swarm of puppets could only last three seconds against the Tribulation, he knew that the puppets would most likely not be able to protect him from the Tribulation.

So, he decided to awaken the kneeling colossal puppet.

Fortunately for him, he chose to make that decision since he would most likely have lost his life if he had not.

However, what he did not expect was for the Tribulation to nearly shatter the hand of the kneeling colossal puppet.

When Corey first saw it, he was not sure about what the Tier of the colossal puppet was, but he knew that it was far more powerful than the other puppets.

He decided to ask Tessa if she knew what the Tier of the puppet was, and she told him that it was a half-step Tier 12.

It was one of the reasons why the God of Living Constructs which was a Greater God could battle True Gods.

However, the Tribulation which was a Tier 11 attack nearly shattered the hand of the colossal puppet?

How powerful was the Tribulation?

And how weakened was the colossal puppet for the Tribulation to nearly shatter it?

'I know that I was barely able to repair it to about 10% of its peak, but I didn't expect the damage to be this much. I thought with its innate materials and physical strength, it would not be easy for the Tribulation to break it.'

Corey watched as two fingers and some parts of the colossal puppet's hand fell on the temple.

The entire Divine Kingdom shook as the puppet's fingers fell on the ground, causing earthquakes and cracks to spread across the land.

Some fragments that were as huge as boulders and trucks fell from the puppet's hand and landed on the temple, shattering various parts of the temple.

If not for how sturdy the Temple was, the destruction would have been greater.

Luckily for Corey, none of the fragments fell in his direction. But this did not calm his heart. Instead, he was even more worried.

If this Tribulation was powerful enough to cause this much destruction to the colossal puppet, then would he survive.

He looked up, and he saw that the Tribulation Clouds were still very much in the sky, and the Heavens were gathering even more energy to unleash on him.

The next attack would be even more powerful, and even if the colossal puppet was able to protect him, what about the next Tribulation?

He doubted there was only going to be three Tribulations, and this was extremely worrisome.

And even if he survived the Tribulations for crafting Primus, what about the Tribulation that would occur if he crafted his armor?

His previous plan was to use the puppets of the God of Living Constructs to survive the two Tribulations, but his inexperience with power on this scale was what made him to miscalculate.

"Maybe I'll hold off on creating my armor." Corey muttered softly as he looked at the Tribulation Clouds that were churning and spewing out arcs of lightning into the surrounding Black Sea.

"Hmm?"

Corey suddenly frowned as he felt a perception sweep past him. It was fleeting, and merely lasted for a second, but it was powerful.

Extremely powerful.

So powerful to the point that if Corey was not familiar with the presence of the Paragon Ancestor, it would have been the most powerful perception he would have ever felt.

"Who-"

Corey was suddenly interrupted by another perception that swept pass him. It was as powerful as the first perception sweep.

Before he could contemplate on the second perception, another perception swept over him.

And then another.

And then another.

And then another.

And then...

A total of twelve perceptions swept across him, and Corey's gaze became dark.

Although he was not familiar with the realms of Immortality and Divinity, he was familiar with a particular perception, and he knew why these perceptions felt unfathomable.

'Gods... And the God of Miracles is amongst them.'

The gears in Corey's mind spun as thousands of thoughts emerged in his mind.

The appearance of Gods was something he did not expect in the slightest. He didn't account for it, and even though none had taken no other action aside from sending their perception over to know what was behind the source of the Tribulation, he knew that his situation had become even more dangerous.

The sky thundered, and Corey looked at it with an extremely solemn gaze.

He was about to send a command to the colossal puppet, but Primus communicated with him.
