Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1118: 1115: Tribulation (5)

The appearance of several gods was something Corey did not factor into in the slightest.

He believed that even if the Tribulation for Primus was on a divine level scale which could attract the attention of several gods, none of the gods would be able to enter New Earth because it was a Blessed World.

And he did not have this belief just because New Earth was a Blessed World, he had a guess that the Supreme Ancestor would not want the gods of the universe to interfere in any Blessed World that has not been integrated into the universe.

There was probably an agreement between the gods and the Supremes, and since the Supremes were far above the gods of their universe, he believed that no god could interfere with New Earth.

But what he failed to take into consideration was the fact that gods could descend into individuals who worshipped them and accepted to be their incarnations.

Although they won't be as strong as their true bodies, an incarnation possessed by a god was far more powerful than a Tier 7.

Corey also knew that the gods had seen that he was the reason behind the Tribulation, and they must have also seen Primus.

Although it looked like a normal crystal clear glass rod, the aura Primus exuded was extremely powerful.

Corey did not believe that the gods would not want to acquire Primus for themselves after seeing it, and he knew that the only reason they had not appeared before him was because of the Tribulation.

If they appeared in his vicinity, the Heavens would believe that they were there to assist him, and not only would the Tribulation increase in its power, the Tribulation would be more focused on them than on him.

Once the Tribulation was over, the twelve gods and maybe even more would appear around the Forge or even inside of it.

He wasn't arrogant enough to believe that the Forge which he created would be able to prevent the gods from reaching him.

He needed a way to stop them from disturbing him after the Tribulation.

Unfortunately, he came up with nothing. Gods were just on a far different scale compared to Immortals.

But just as Corey was about to give up and decide to focus on the crisis in front of him, Primus communicated with him.

Corey was stunned when he first felt the intent of Primus, and then the words he spoke. He didn't expect Primus to speak to him because Primus had not fully acclimatized to everything he gave it... No... Him.

Primus now had a gender because of his voice. His voice was like that of a five year old boy, and it was cute and also full of majesty in a strange way.

"Grow... Need... Tribulation... Divinity."

Primus' words were broken and unclear, but Corey instantly knew what he wanted.

However, Corey could not help but freeze on the spot in disbelief.

What Primus wanted was nothing short of madness, and he could not help but wonder if Primus knew what exactly for.

If he did as Primus said, he could lose his life, and Primus could also get destroyed before he even got to use the weapon he painstakingly crafted.

"Are you sure?" Corey looked at Primus and asked with a solemn expression.

Primus trembled in his grasp, and Corey exhaled deeply.

He looked at the churning Tribulation Clouds, then a chuckle escaped his lips.

"I guess your first opponent won't be a Mystic Being, an Immortal, or a God... But the Heavens themselves."

Corey took a step forward, and then he appeared above the Black Sea.

He looked down, and he could not help but be slightly amazed at the current sight of the Black Sea.

It was similar to a down spiral whirlpool of water mixed with lightning, and this whirlpool was so vast that Corey believed a small country's landmass could fit into the whirlpool and even have some extra kilometers of land.

Although Corey had seen it from the Forge below, it was a different thing seeing it from above.

RUMBLE!

The skies rumbled and thundered the moment Corey appeared above the Forge, almost like Corey's presence angered it the more.

No.

It was not truly Corey's presence that angered the Heavens, it was the presence of Primus.

RUMBLE!

The sky rumbled violently once again, and Corey looked at it with a solemn gaze.

His eyes slowly widened when the colour of the lightning bolts swimming in the Tribulation Clouds changed.

Previously, they were white. But now, they had a golden hue to it.

And the power of the golden lightning bolts caused the hair at the back of Corey's neck to rise.

'Why does it feel like the Heavens know that I was protecting myself, and all those previous attacks were to destroy my defenses. But this one is its real attack?'

'Is a Supreme or the Supreme Ancestor behind this?'

Numerous thoughts appeared in Corey's mind as he gazed at the sea of golden lightning.

He shifted his gaze to Primus. "You're certain you want to do this, Primus? The Tribulation is no longer the same."

Primus trembled in his grasp, and Corey shook his head slightly with a slight smile.

"You better succeed and not die."

Corey took a step to the side, and then he appeared a few kilometers to the right.

For what he wanted to do, he needed to increase the distance between him and the Divine Kingdom of the God of Living Constructs or else it would either be destroyed or suffer catastrophic damage.

Fortunately, no matter where Corey went to, the Tribulation would always follow him.

RUMBLE!

The Tribulation rumbled once again, and Corey held out Primus.

"Grow... Primus."

Primus trembled, and the moment Corey poured his mana into Primus, he grew.

In the eyes of those that were watching, including the gods. They suddenly saw an unfathomably large glass pillar grow into the sky in a fraction of a second.

A second later, the world trembled and earthquakes happened in every part of the world.
