Teddy sat in the grand cathedral of the Alchemic Palace. He looked down to see all types of gods being carved on the wall.
It was another side of mythology that Teddy had never seen before.
'And where is this place exactly?' Teddy didn't know. But he knew for sure that the man that he had sworn loyalty to was not who he seemed to be.
Siderius finished reading Jenny's memory and returned to his Alchemical Palace. Nora pointed him to the grand cathedral where Teddy was.
"I won't be bothering you two." Nora bowed lightly.
"Make me some tea, Nora. I need it for the upcoming battle."
"Of course, teacher."
Siderius sat down beside Teddy.
"Find the artworks fascinating?" He said.
Teddy nodded. His eyes didn't divert from the paintings on the wall.
"Who are these gods, my lord?"
"Higher Beings of another world, Teddy."
"Are you one of them, my lord?"
"Why the question?"
"This place. Your unique kind of magic. The way that you are totally in control of your emotions. You don't seem like the typical witch."
Siderius chuckled. He didn't answer. The two sat silently for a while.
"I used to sit here a lot with Rohan." Suddenly he said.
"Who is Rohan, my lord?"
"A dear friend of mine. He died long ago.
He was a strict honorable fool that would only fight for who he believed in."
Siderius pointed to a god on the wall.
"That is Rhiannon, Blade of the Neverending Fortress, Goddess of Knights. She was a fierce warrior, a brilliant leader, and a kind queen. She never had any husband nor children.
Her tales speak of honor, intelligence, and the good of all.
She was his one and only god. Rohan dedicated his entire life to her virtues."
"He sounds like a good man."
Siderius chuckled. "Not that good. His dream is to take that goddess as his wife. Because of her, he never fell in love with any other woman.
No woman is able to compare to Rhiannon in his eyes."
"How did he die, my lord? If you don't mind me asking…"
"He died doing what he loved. Protecting the innocents and his honor."
The pair shared another silent moment before Siderius continued. "You knew Nora before?"
Teddy nodded. "I saw her… When she was a slave in the Blackcrow household. She was… miserable and broken."
Teddy couldn't help but look out the window and imagined the appearance of Nora now. He couldn't imagine what happened to her. What Siderius did that can pull her back from the depth of darkness.
"She looks happy now."
"Fate really knows how to play the game. If I didn't spare you. If you didn't survive the attack. You would never be able to meet Nora.
She is lonely here. Maybe you can visit her from time to time."
"Of course, my lord. I am more than happy to accompany Miss… Nora."
Siderius suddenly stood up. "It's time for me to suit up. You can go and watch if you want."
"Yes, my lord." Teddy didn't understand much but he followed.
Siderius returned to the armory in the castle and put on his Mind Steel Armor again. He equipped himself with a True Steel sword and walked out to the vast courtyard of the palace.
Teddy stood on the balcony of the castle, overlooking the scenery around. Beside him was Nora.
"What are Lord Satterblade fighting?" Teddy said.
"His demon," Nora said.
In the far distance. A claw reached out from within the void and slashed the space in two. A giant black panther appeared, walking out from pitch black darkness of hell.
Teddy was shaken by the scene but remained still.
"That thing…"
Even though he was a human, Teddy knew of the witch ranks. Unawakened Witch. Witchling. Lesser Witch. And the all-powerful Major Witch.
But he doubted that even a Major Witch was able to even deal with this gigantic monster.
Siderius cracked his neck.
"Combination of Nine Rings and Alchemical Palace. Test No. 2.
Let's see if I can replicate what happened with Fluffy."
Siderius grabbed his True Steel. He turned into a blur.

Siderius lowered down from the sky. His shiny armor was filled with black blood of once the Chaos Panther.
In the Alchemical Palace, everything became stronger. Especially the manifestation of his psychosis.
Fluff was stronger but still much weaker compared to Siderius.
The Night Panther was significantly more powerful than Fluff. Its strength was affected by the psychosis level of Siderius and the beast's original power level.
Both combined and made it twice as dangerous.
Siderius killed it once. Lower his psychosis by 25 points.
The beast resurrected. Siderius killed it a second time. Lower his psychosis for the remaining 24 points.
The fatigue for his mind came in. As powerful as his projection was in the Alchemical Palace, his spirit in the physical world had limitations.
"It worked one more time… Alchemical Palace enhanced the conversion of psychosis.
The more psychosis I have, the more powerful the beast is. I also cannot completely dissolve the beast's psyche and can only lower it to the minimal point for Nine Rings to finish the job.
This means that if I used Alchemical Palace sooner, I can only lower the level of completing a ring. Then I need to construct a new ring and try again.
The result is… pleasantly surprising."
Each psychosis meditation had its drawbacks. Even the Alchemical Palace. Fighting the beast head on in the spirit world allowed for a safer approach. But its weakness was large.
Completely vulnerable in the process. There was no do-over. You must finish the projection of the beast or suffer an increase of psychosis. Each kill wasn't a total reduction either but would be around twenty to thirty points like Siderius did twice. A too quick of a psychosis drop would also cause Mutation Collapse.
Alchemical Palace was more stable than a few more wild meditations but there was still a fairly possibility.
Now, with Nine Rings, he could ensure the stability of his mutation to the maximum.
"Since this is the case. For the next mutation, I can switch between using Nine Rings and Alchemical Palace for the quickest reduction of Psychosis.
The time to finish Ocula III would be… less than a month.
All I need to do is make sure my spirit is healthy and not overexert myself.
I also need to find a suitable third pair of eyes as well."
