Idiot’s Paradox: A LitRPG Apocalyptic Adventure [Book 1 Complete]

Status Update

Thank you to everyone for being patient while I took a break. Originally, I intended to take only one week off and as such I didn't see a need to provide an update for such a short time. However, once I took a break, I realized how much I'd needed it. I was close to burn out without knowing it. And I also wasn't sure of the timeline for when I would return.

I'm ready to come back now! And rest assured that I will finish book two and I have plans for the rest of the series. In fact, book two is only a few chapters away from the end on Patreon.

But… the unintended consequences of taking such a long break meant that I've had to refresh myself and review everything to make sure I don't accidently write in a plot hole. I have about 20K words to go and then I'll be ready to start posting the next chapter.

Where did we leave off?

Logan was trying to finish his 'Build an Empire' Quest!

[You've received the quest, Build an Empire! Craft ten lodestone access points and sell 100 items within 48 hours.]

[Reward for completing the Quest: Lord status. Lord status will allow you to declare yourself the lord of your community, receive pledges of loyalty, and Karma tax.]

[Penalty for not completing the Quest: All future KarmaCoin earnings will be reduced by fifty percent. In perpetuity.]

With Lara and the kids safe, and Ernie back in Hope's End, Logan decided to head to the other side of the world. His intent was to travel to a large city, a place with a ton of people and potential customers. It was also early morning there and back in Hope's End, it was night. He's on a time limit.

Logan arrived in Australia; he'd encountered a plastic blob the size of a house, but he decided not to fight the monster since it wasn't a priority.

He needs to find customers. And stat.
