Legendary Necromancer: My First Summon is the Undead Dragon

Chapter 84: Go for the head

She was fast, without doubt, her speed was terrifying. But Crypt was able to predict fast; he moved a step back and raised his spear above his head just as her blade came down.

Clang.

The collision sent out a shockwave. The battle was intense to the extent that even the monsters could not get close.

"Why is she attacking us?" Jake wondered. He thought the battle would go on for longer and they would have to focus on her and the monsters, but the Hydra had other plans. It suddenly turned to them and attacked with a terrifying blast from three heads.

The woman reacted fast and dodged, while Fang picked Jake and Crypt onto its back before darting away. The plasma hit the ground and ripped through, creating a deep and long line of damage.

"We won't be able to focus at all if we can't get to that Hydra," Jake thought. He looked at the monsters who were now rushing toward them.

"Fang, knock them out," he said, and immediately, Fang opened its mouth, spewing a purple gas.

When the monsters inhaled the gas, their bodies immediately started reacting, they collapsed one after the other, slowly dying on the ground.

The woman was shocked to see this. She leaped onto a roof where the gas wouldn't reach her. She stared at Jake and the snake in confusion and shock.

"Just who is that? Having such high powered summons that he can control that easily... someone like that shouldn't exist in Olen. If he is this dangerous now, what if he grows stronger? He's too much of a risk. I'll have to take him down," she thought.

But Jake, oblivious to this, had already unsummoned everyone aside from Crypt and Fang. He looked at the wall and saw that three heads of the Hydra were still looking at him.

He looked off into the distance, and the magical attacks were still happening there.

"If we wait for too long, they'll take it down. There's no way I'll allow them to take down the king. I have to do it," he said. Fang shot forward, moving at a terrifying pace.

The woman frowned and gave chase. She shot forward, running behind as fast as she could, but even with all that speed, she was unable to keep up and slowly got left behind.

Fang was close to the wall at this point, and the Hydra saw it. It wasn't going to allow this snake to get up and threaten it, so it turned all its heads, ignoring the attacks coming at it, and blasted a combined plasma attack, the same one Ophelia had blocked.

"Master, incoming," Drake warned from inside. The blast was way too big to dodge, and the explosion when it hit the ground would also be terrifying. It wasn't looking good.

"Seems like I don't have much of a choice. Drake, come out," Jake said.

And the magical portal formed. Drake flew out in all his glory, reaching a hundred feet from head to toe. This was the first time Jake had ever seen Drake this big.

"When did you get this big?" Jake asked in shock.

"I possess the ability to regulate my size through regulating my mana," Drake said casually. Right now, he was colossal, terrifying.

His presence cast a massive shadow all around. The woman that had been chasing was shocked when she saw the dragon. Fear gripped her from where she stood, her hands trembling on her blade.

Drake didn't waste any time and immediately used his dragon's breath to counter the plasma. Fire met with plasma.

Boom!

The two fought against each other. The Hydra pumped out all the plasma it could, struggling to fight back, yet Drake casually pushed it back.

"Crypt and I are going for the kill. Keep it distracted," Jake said.

"Understood, Master," Drake replied before increasing the intensity of his flames and pushing the plasma back.

The collision mid-air had caused a very bright light, and everyone's attention was pulled to the dragon and the Hydra battling now.

The Hydra was a powerful forty feet in total size, and when that size was compared to Drake, the Hydra seemed like a child.

But even then, it was still a very terrifying creature. Two colossals fighting it out now.

Jake, on the other hand, was on the move. He and Crypt rode along the back of Fang and got up the wall in no time. When the people that had been attacking the Hydra saw a third massive creature appear, their hearts sunk.

First was the Hydra, then the dragon out of nowhere, and now the snake, were they destined to die today?

Some mustered the courage and immediately started attacking Fang. Jake saw the attacks and clicked his tongue; they didn't need any distractions now.

So he summoned all the Minotaurs and ogres that they had, along with the undead skeletons. They lined up the wall and blocked all the attacks for Jake so he could concentrate.

"Fang, go," Jake said, and Fang shot forward, moving extremely fast on the wall, headed for the Hydra.

The Hydra knew that something was coming, but it also knew that if it took a head away right now, it would die from Drake's attack. To make matters worse, Drake increased the intensity of his flames, and that forced the Hydra to focus even more to stop it.

"Nice work, Drake. Now Fang, slam into that overgrown seven-headed lizard," Jake said. Fang picked up even more speed, and they slammed into the Hydra with so much force that it fell over the wall outside the city.

As it fell, Jake and Crypt leaped off the back of Fang, diving down, spears in their arms.

"Go for the heads," Jake said, taking out a spear. "Raging Tornado!" He threw it at full speed. The spear ripped through the air and exploded one head into bits.

But immediately after, something terrifying and unexpected happened.
