However, Grey did not encounter any terrifying sea beast neither was there a tyrant chasing after his at all. The next few days on the Dead sea passed quietly.
Up on till now, Grey managed to reach the fourth level in the Forbidden Monarch art. As for the Sky Mid art, his level was still stagnant at the Seventh level.
His mastery over 'Forbidden stream' had also increased as well but with the lack of any sea creatures, he couldn't know how strong it was.
But Grey was patient. During this times, he would only cultivate his cold yin energy and refine poison.
The corrosive substance in the sea also made practicing the Shadow sect secret art go faster as well. He was now adept at controlling his shadow willfully.
It was only after thirteen days passed in total that Grey finally reach his first destination. Sitting down silently on the deck, Grey slowly opened his eyes and looked into the distance.
From the position of the sun blocked by the Grey clouds, he could see the outline of an island with a huge mountain range in the distance. He subconsciously changed his viewing angle upwards and sighed.
Even though the skies were constantly clouded by Gray clouds, God's hand was still visible. Always there. Always giving off gloomy and imposing vibes.
Grey stood on the bow and gently piloted the Magic ship in a straight line towards the island.
The island was called the Deserted Plains! A barren island that lacked any source of life. A common place where seafarers gathered and issued each other missions.
Grey could have easily taken a mission from Sky Mist city, but his realm was too low. You needed to at least be in Foundation establishment realm before you could accept sea missions.
After all, the sea was very dangerous and unpredictable! To prevent low level cultivators from dying meaningless deaths, Sky Mist did not issue out missions for Qi accumulation cultivators.
It seemed like they cared a lot but Grey deciphered the hidden meaning behind their actions that said. 'If you want to fie, don't die in our academy and on our missions! If you want to die, go explore on your own!'
Of course he could be wrong, but even if he was, Grey felt that their true meaning was close to what he was thinking.
Grey slowly sailed his Magic ship into the Harbour and picked a random port to lodge. Getting closer to the island, he saw many ships of different sizes and build.
Some were big and tough looking, obviously leaning towards defense a bit more. While some were sleek and slender.
Compared to the others Magic ship's, Grey's own looked quite ordinary. But if one scrutinized deeply, they would feel their heart palpitate in the face of raw divinity!
Although no one paid close attention to Grey's ship, Grey paid close attention to everyone else's. After all, at sea there was no law. The waters were international borders, which meant anything goes.
Pirates and bounty hunters frequently came to these islands for basic commodities and to waste away their hard earned earnings. Most pirate ships had at most ten crew members with a captain at the High levels of Qi accumulation or Early Foundation establishment levels.
At sea, everyone paid close attention to their decay points and cultivation level. In the sea where anything goes, if you had a low cultivation level, your death would all just be assures when you meet terrifying sea creatures or hostile Magic ships.
After porting his Magic ship, Grey deftly waved his hand and it shrunk down and then disappeared into his sleeves.
Many people who were watching at that time ogled in both awe and greed. A magic ship that could be easily stored was a well worth treasure to these pirates.
They followed Grey with their greedy eyes, already thinking of ways to kill him to get his magic ship. But when Grey felt the hostile gazes all over his person, he scoffed loudly and let out some of his aura.
With his terrifying cold core energy at the fourth level ignoring but complimenting his spirit energy, his seventh level cultivation base seemed entirely frightening to those low level pirates. They quickly averted their gazes while scurrying away in fear.
At first, they thought Grey was the son of a rich cultivator or a noble young master. As to the reason why he wore a mystic item that camouflaged his true appearance and owned a magic ship that was very expensive. Buy when they felt that cold aura and indifferent expression that lacked any emotions, they then felt as if he was like them.
A sea farer that had long turned cold and indifferent towards things. His terrifying baleful aura and the repulsive corrosive substance being emitted from his body solidified that thought.
They no longer had any thoughts from plundering from such a person. Because of the mysterious cloak he was wearing, none of them could guess his true appearance and thought he was probably some old expert at finally came to port after a long time at sea.
But some of them had an inkling that the person wearing the mysterious cloak was young because of his instinctive and habitual act. But 'they' did not believe that the terrifying cultivator before them would be a young person.
At most, he would be a little more or less over thirty. But how would they react if they knew Grey was barely fifteen?
Grey, who was oblivious to all their thoughts walked away after he did not feel their gazes on him again. Despite the seemingly proud and strong facade he put up, he was secretly vigilant and cautious. Always ready to flee at the next second.
His instincts kept giving him warnings that he should be careful! Others may not have felt it, but he could detect slight traces of divinity in the air, accompanied by a strong but extremely slight aura of Foundation establishment.
All this made the vigilance in his heart sky rocket! He could feel a lot of senses subtly monitoring him but they couldn't get past his disguise. His power level was too weak so he couldn't shake them off. He could only use his spirit sea and perception to cover himself as a shield.
However, these gazes did not harbor any sinister intent and was just monitoring him for the time being. Grey sighed subtly before walking towards the main island.
Walkinh on the streets of the harbor, several smells assaulted him at once. From the side of his eye, he saw a dead body lying face down. Maggots had already started coming out from its body and yellowish pus were flowing out.
As for the several smells, they consisted of the dead body, dried feces and the smell of the dead sea.
Grey turned his face immediately after and hurried his steps away from that particular street.
Soon, he came upon a different district. Grey saw many young girls and mature women in suggestive clothes doing suggestive movements.
Grey also saw many pirates cackling while the young girl played their bodies around them. Grey sighed and quickly walked away from there as well.
This island was sort of a pirate island and pirates who had been out to sea for months would immediately come back to have fun with mundane women.
Unable to resist his carnal desires, one scrawny and skinny pirate began squirming on top of a young girl. The young girl had an expression of displeasure on her face but did not stop him, simply bearing through it.
Grey looked at all of this and sighed. He was not a saint! And these girls chose this lives themselves! In a bid not to witness any more, Grey quickly averted his eyes.
'I feel like I've sighed and averted my eyes way to much ever since i came to this island!' Grey said.
"Hey there honey! You looking for me?" Suddenly, a young mature woman in skimpy clothes stood in front of while while seductively shaking her waist. She gestured towards Grey as she walked closer towards. But when she was a few feet away, she suddenly stopped because she could not see his face. It was as if his face was shrouded by layers of illusionary fog. Even his clothes that seemed illusionary.
Well, that was the power of the mysterious cloak he had found from the storage bag of the Devil's race cultivator.
The mature woman staggered backwards a few steps before regaining her conposure and continued walking seductively despite being afraid.
Grey was at loss at first before he quickly regained his composure as well. He didn't see anything and instead used the gesture of swiping his hand to the right to deal with it.
The woman was dumbfounded as a sudden force quickly shoved her to the right. By the time she came out of her dazed state, Grey had long gone.
'Just what is the point of all this?' If not for his self control which he had developed before he transmigrated, Grey wouldn't know how to react. His skin was starting to turn red under the illusion.
