All Magic ships that had cultivators below the Foundation establishment realm had to be extremely vigilant and cautious of this particular creature because it hated boats to the extreme.
Without hesitation, Grey drew a hand seal and suddenly, a fierce wind blew and pushed the sails of the magic ship. Temporarily, he gained some considerable distance from the Bleeding Willow crocodile but not for long!
As soon as the crocodile snapped out of it's dazed state, its chased after Grey without speed that could not compare.
With a snap of it's powerful tail, waves were dispersed and black water was sprayed Into the air fiercely! The Bleeding Willow crocodile gained super momentum and seemingly rocketed straight towards his Magic ship's direction.
When Grey looked over, he saw the quickly crocodile closing the distance. His eyes widened as he drew more hand seals in the air. He also added more spirit stones to give the magic ship more energy.
But it seemed like no matter how fast he went, he wasn't as fast as the Bleeding Willow crocodile, neither would he ever be as fast. Because in the next few breaths, the crocodile had already caught up to the magic ship and was ready to snap it's terrifying jaws.
From this close up, Grey could see rows of jagged and rugged teeth, lined up in the mouth of the crocodile. It's jaws were half the length of the magi ship, meaning it could crush half of the ship in one bite.
The remaining parts of it's body was under the inky black water so Grey couldn't estimate its whole size but he could guess that it would be several times bigger and longer than his Magic ship.
Without a second thought, Grey released his entire cultivation base! The cold yin energy and the warn spirit energy both circulated through his body at the same time.
Seemingly ignoring themselves but avoiding to touch whenever they got too close. As Grey released his cultivation base, the Bleeding Willow crocodile paused at the last second.
Confusion clouded it's thoughts for a moment but that single moment was enough for Grey to barely get his ship away from it's jaws.
The jaws of the Bleeding Willow crocodile snapped shut and the black water churned and was displaced in large quantities.
The cold and warm energies from Grey's body was enough to make the sea tyrant pause in it's attack for a second because the cold yin energy was energy that could only be felt at the bottom of the dead sea, and the creatures who cultivated this yin energy were all amazingly powerful divine creatures.
Feeling the cold energy from Grey's body made it instinctively pause in fear that a deep dwelling divine creature had suddenly arose.
Which had given Grey enough time to escape with his magic ship, but that didn't mean he was out of the woods just yet.
After realizing, the Bleeding Willow crocodile's eyes turned red. It was at that moment that Grey knew why it was called the Bleeding Willow crocodile.
Seemingly tears of blood ran down the side of it's eyes. A glint of madness appeared in its eyes as the green crocodile under the black water ran berserk!
It dashed madly at Grey with both anger and excitement. Grey looked at this calmly but internally he was shaken. His breathing turned a bit heavy as he pulled out a steel javelin from his storage bag.
One of the preparations he had made previously was to buy many of these steel javelins for on sea battles.
Grey had a feeling that he would be forced to confront a sea creature while on the sea, it was impossible not to encounter one! So he prepared some weapons if the day came when he would be forced to battle underwater or one sea. But he didn't expect that day to come this soon.
As the Bleeding Willow crocodile opened its mouth to snap at Grey again, he threw the steel javelin straight into it's mouth! But before he did that, he smeared some of the poison on the pointy side of the javelin.
The sound of metal hitting metal could be heard in the next instant as the Steel Javelin hit the Bleeding Willow crocodile in the neck instead of it's mouth which he was aiming for.
The scales of the Bleeding Willow crocodile were so tough that the javelin didn't pierce and fell into the water. A bit of heart ache assaulted Grey at that moment as he just imagined his spirit stones sinking Into the bottom of the dead sea.
But he didn't have time to lament before he did the same with the next javelin and threw it. Fortunately for him, and unfortunately for the Bleeding Willow Crocodile, the Javelin flew straight and true and lodged itself straight into it's left eye.
Grey felt the water tremble and surge as the crocodile released it's anger along with a terrifying roar.
But Grey did not have time to see what happened next as he steered his boats away from the pillars of black water that suddenly shot out from the sea.
The sea seemed to be boiling in anger as well with the Bleeding Willow Crocodile. The Bleeding Willow crocodile was really bleeding now. Along side that, it's left eye which still had the Steel javelin inside sprayed out black blood, courtesy to his poison of course.
Without further ado, he piloted the boat around the seemingly boiling pillars of black water. The Bleeding Willow crocodile was in the Foundation establishment realm, which meant that it's emotions had some effect on it's surroundings.
In truth, Grey was actually shocked that the Steel javelin really wounded the Bleeding Willow crocodile. He did not expect it to pierce so deep and incense it so much as it did.
But he would also not be happy if a three meter long Javelin was stabbed into his eye! In pain, the crocodile thrashed around with one good eye but Grey was no where to be found at the moment.
In so much agony and pain, the Bleeding Willow crocodile chased after the sailing magic ship that swayed and buckled as it navigated through the boiling pillars of black water.
But in the end, it couldn't catch up to Grey at all. The crocodile could only watch as the magic ship sped away into the distance. But despite all its anger and frustration, it couldn't catch up to it with its only one eye.
***
On the bow of the magic ship, Grey let out a heavy sigh of relief. He stopped circulating his cold yin and spirit energies as he piloted the magic ship away.
He took one last glance at the Bleeding Willow crocodile that was staring at him with malice, but couldn't catch up. Not like it couldn't catch up but more like it wouldn't, because he noticed that the waters he was entering seemed to become more warmer and there was hardly any activity under the sea.
The Bleeding Willow crocodile also stopped some considerable distance from the black slightly warm waters, as if it didn't dare venture into another terrifying tyrant's territory.
'That's it! I entered a different Tyrant's territory, that's why the Bleeding Willow crocodile was unwilling to continue chasing me! At it's level, it could surely lock unto me even if it had no eyes. Because it can use its perception or divine sense.'
'Yes! It's because it doesn't dare venture into another creature's territory. But what Tyrant could be so terrifying that the Bleeding Willow crocodile who was known as a Major Tyrant of the sea would be afraid of?' Grey said inwardly but couldn't graps any answers.
"I only just started venturing into the dead sea yet I'm encounterinh such dangers already! Should I turn around and head back to Sky Mist city?"
In the end, Grey decided to continue on with his former plans.
"If the tyrant is really powerful, then it shouldn't care much about a weak cultivator like me..." He muttered to himself but didn't decrease his vigilance one bit.
Instead, he turned even more vigilant and cautious! Ever since he transmigrated, Grey realized that in this world, the words 'Survival of the fittest was no small joke'.
Even the smallest of things would plot against you and the only person you can rely on was yourself. There was no one to help you, even God himself has forsaken everyone and now had turned against everyone.
And the fact that the waters were even more still and tranquil only made his cautious nature even more vigilant. He did not feel safe at all after barely escaping the Bleeding Willow crocodile, instead, he felt like he had wandered blindly into the den of a powerful creature which he was not supposed to.
Only by remaining vigilant, cautious and careful could be pass through safely in the end. Grey had no ideas of tackling a tyrant of the sea. They literally had the titles for a reason!
Each and every single one of out leveled him and could eat him in one bite! It would be wishful thinking if he could escaping from a second tyrant that had got it's eyes set on him, much less kill one.
Heaven and hell knows that he barely escaped from the Bleeding Willow Crocodile, he did not want to try his luck again with another!
