Supreme Game: Antimagic Apocalypse

Chapter 94: Admission

"Um... it's nothing serious, Sir. I just wanted to meet you and inform you that I got a job. And it's all thanks to you."

"Mmhm... that's good news. I already assumed as much. Good luck with your career, Lam. And if possible, try to forget what happened in your village. I will find the killer for you. Trust me."

Lam glanced into his determined crimson eyes and nodded. "I will try, Sir. But the villagers won't be at peace unless they get justice. For now, I put my trust in you, Sir Raizel."

She replied with a glad look, but there was a fierce determination for vengeance in her eyes.

But the way she was now, she would only be courting death if she went looking for the culprit herself.

Raizel also could do nothing but comfort her for now.

Next, he headed inside his room to exit to the real world—because he clearly remembered he had to go to Ruby's college for her admission, with Butler Will's help.

Upon arriving in the real world, Raizel glanced at the clock.

7:00 AM.

That meant he still had some time before they had to depart.

He began preparing himself by cleaning thoroughly, taking a bath, and then transforming his clothes into a black and red ashen outfit that resembled a scholar's attire.

Not too flashy, not too trashy.

Afterward, he headed downstairs to eat something as he hadn't eaten in a while.

"Ruby, are you prepared?"

He noticed Ruby on the couch, watching TV.

She turned around, her eyes lighting up upon seeing him in his new outfit.

"You look handsome in that outfit, brother. Planning to impress all the girls at my new college?" she asked mischievously.

"Yeah, just tell them I'm already taken. That should solve the problem easily," Raizel joked.

"Ohh? You have a girlfriend? Did you hear that, Mom? Brother Rai already picked a bride—just for you two!" Ruby teased loudly.

Their mother, who was placing food on the table for Raizel, paused upon hearing that.

"Is that true, son?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Raizel, speechless, shook his head. "I was only joking, Mother. Don't listen to your blabbermouth daughter."

"Ohh..." his mother murmured, slightly disappointed.

As Raizel sat down to eat breakfast, Butler Will entered and informed him, "Everything is ready, Sir. But you really didn't have to trouble yourself."

"It's not a trouble. I'm free from Guild duties today," Raizel replied calmly.

Butler Will could nothing about it.

So he waited patiently.

And after the breakfast was done, Igor, Ruby and Butler Will headed outside.

Outside, on the road a Taxi was waiting for them..

They hoped in without delay.

The ride to Silver Wing Academy took roughly thirty minutes, and though it was just a routine city drive, the experience felt anything but mundane to Ruby. She kept glancing between the glass, the polished roads of Megacity 17, and her brother, who sat quietly, gazing out the opposite window.

Raizel leaned back slightly in the taxi's leather seat, arms crossed, his sharp crimson eyes reflecting the early morning sunlight. His black-and-red outfit gave him an air of both mystery and authority, drawing curious looks even from passing pedestrians.

"I still say you look like a main character from one of those elite-school dramas," Ruby commented as she played with her hair.

Raizel gave her a side glance. "Don't start again."

Butler Will, sitting in the front beside the driver, chuckled quietly, keeping his attention forward.

Eventually, the tall marble gates of Silvermist Academy came into view. The college campus was vast—more like a city within a city. Elegant old-world architecture mixed with modern crystalline tech towers that gleamed in the sun. Sprawling gardens and plazas spread between the buildings, complete with floating data panels, auto-guard drones, and sculpture fountains flowing with glowing water.

Dozens of young students in neatly tailored uniforms moved across the campus paths, some alone, others chatting in excited groups. The taxi slowed to a halt outside the visitor's entrance.

As Raizel stepped out, the atmosphere shifted slightly.

Several girls nearby turned their heads, drawn by the aura he naturally exuded. Whispers broke out.

"Who's that guy?"

"Is he a new professor?"

"No way. He looks our age."

"He's too hot to be a freshman..."

Meanwhile, a group of boys passing by scowled, their jaws tightening with irritation.

"Tch, probably some rich kid from Central Zone."

"Great. As if we didn't already have enough pretty boys here."

Raizel, for his part, paid them no mind. He was used to this kind of attention in both worlds by now. Behind him, Ruby giggled softly.

"I feel like a side character today," she teased.

"Good. Stay that way. Less trouble."

Butler Will led the way into the administration building, a marble hall with silver accents and an intricate crest embedded into the tiled floor—two wings crossing behind a glowing quill.

A receptionist greeted them politely and, after confirming Ruby's identity, contacted the Dean's office. Within minutes, a staff escort arrived to lead them to the inner building.

They were soon seated in an office that looked more like a private study in a noble mansion than part of a college—shelves of books, a clockwork globe, and a massive arched window behind the desk letting in streams of golden light.

Then the door opened, and an elderly man with a long silver beard and calm eyes stepped in.

"Welcome," he said with a warm smile. "I'm Dean Arvelle. You must be Ruby, and... her guardian?"

"Brother," Raizel replied, shaking the man's hand.

Arvelle raised an eyebrow at Raizel's presence. His sharp intuition clearly told him this was not a normal young man. He was clearly a Player. And like the member of Apex Guild. But he didn't press further.

"Ruby has passed all the preliminary checks, and her academic scores are impressive. With her talent and aptitude, she'll be placed into our Science and Ether Mechanics track."

"That's perfect," Ruby said, visibly excited.

Arvelle nodded. "We don't normally do same-day placements, but thanks to your Association wirh the Apex Guild and your timely documents, we've made the necessary arrangements."

He handed a small crystal tablet to Ruby, containing her dorm assignment, class schedule, and campus access permissions.

"Welcome to Silverwings Academy, Ms. Ruby."

Ruby bowed slightly. "Thank you, Dean."

After a brief tour and the formalities, Raizel and Ruby reunited with Will at the front of the campus.

Ruby would return to stay in her dorm two days later, after finishing preparations at home.

As they walked back to the taxi, Raizel noticed several more students still staring at him—not out of recognition, but fascination. A group of upper-year girls stood under a cherry tree, giggling and whispering.

"Was he with that freshman girl?"

"That's not fair. Why are the cute ones always taken?"

"I'd skip class just to walk next to him."

One even waved at him boldly, but Raizel didn't respond. He was too used to ignoring that kind of attention.

Back in the car, Ruby nudged him with her elbow. "So… you gonna pretend none of that just happened?"

Raizel didn't answer. He just looked out the window again.

"You're lucky you're my brother," she muttered. "Otherwise I'd totally compete."

Butler Will awkwardly cleared his throat in the front seat. "Sir Raizel, you handled the situation with grace. Though I fear the campus will not know peace once your sister enrolls with such rumors spreading."

Raizel leaned back and shut his eyes. "Let them talk. It doesn't matter."

"Still," Will added, "if you ever tire of the attention, perhaps a plainer disguise would work better next time."

Raizel smirked faintly. "I got it."

They arrived home just before noon. Their mother greeted them at the door, wiping her hands on her apron.

"How did it go?"

"Its good" Raizel replied. "She's officially admitted."

Ruby beamed. "I saw the library! And the engineering lab! And the hovercraft workshop! Mom, the Silverwings Academy is amazing!"

"I'm glad," she said, hugging her daughter. "Thank you, Rai."

He gave a small nod. "It's nothing. But if she wants to be a player, that would solely rely on her luck.

"Even so," she said, patting his shoulder. "I'm proud of you."

They went inside, the smell of fresh food already filling the air. It had been a long morning, but a successful one.

Raizel, now back in the familiar calm of home, felt the weight of the day fade from his shoulders.

Raizel decided not to waste any time.

At midnight of game time, he logged into the Game World once more. From now on, every moment would be dedicated to becoming stronger.

After a brief goodbye to the awestruck Bromak, he made his way back to his previous hunting ground—Rovon Wilderness.

The guards at the southern gate were half-asleep, slouched against their posts. But just as a sharp gust of wind rushed past them, their eyes snapped open.

They looked around, alert—yet found nothing.

Unbeknownst to them, Raizel had already left the vicinity, vanishing into the darkness with superhuman speed.
