"I mean…They aren't dead?" Elizabeth said confused, "They are up there, Mother is probably peeking at some random Magical Girl bathing or kissing other Magical Girl, while Papa is probably doing his work or trying to get common sense into Mother."

"Hah!" Amelia had barked a laugh at this, "Yeah, I can see that one. Did you know Catherine asked me to give her a program that would let her peek and record from the phones of all Magical Girls or Girls around the optimum age to become magical girls?"

"You didn't do it right?" Elizabeth asked, already starting to change the way she would approach this woman if the answer was yes.

"Of course not," Amelia had thankfully answered, "Your father would kill me, [The Traveler] would disappear me, heck…even the half that was Villainous of the Twelve would kill me for that, no one wants Catherine peeking at their daughters in the bathroom."

Right….Not all the members of [The twelve] were degenerates…It was hard to think of them as normal people when Elizabeth hadn't met anyone normal there, the most normal one had been Papa, and he was not particularly normal either.

"But their things are lost!" Jenna said returning to the main point, "The relics…their achievements…All lost in the void."

"If you want them, you could probably fish for them?" Amelia said, thinking about it, "I mean, we could probably make a dimensional anchor and just throw it and reel it till we manage to hit that one back? No one else is going to attempt and catch it anyway."

"What about the Italians?" Jenna said sighing "I can't imagine them leaving that to fate."

"They aren't that good in dimensionalism," Amelia said shaking her head, "The only one that could be an issue is [The Traveler]..."

"Did you find him?" Jenna asked now more calm after the talks moved to recovering that space node.

"Yeah, he is stuck in the future, for some reason." Amelia said, shrugging, "He is bound to arrive in a couple of weeks, actually."

"Arrive?" Elizabeth asked, "He has been missing since Advent, right?"

Or at least that was what she got from all the conversation so far whenever his name came out, "He almost got purged with the Saintsworths right?"

"I have no idea what name you said but yeah, he was one to be purged too," Amelia said pulling a weird mechanical collar, it looked like a weird neck pillow….that or a collar…or half collar more like. "He felt the purge and jumped away, we found out he was stuck in a pseudo existential state so I was attempting to stabilize him, that is when the dimensional anchors started to fail, so the surviving member of [The Twelve] evacuated while I kept trying to stabilize it from my side."

"The problem is that no one else from this side could do the same," Jenna said sighing, "So Amelia ended having to do it all from her side."

"And while she could keep the node stable, she had no actual way of reconnecting it to Zaanam," Sana said nodding from the side.

"Oh, so you are Sana!" Amelia said rushing to hug the fox girl, only for Sana to teleport away, "...Yeah, space mages are unfair."

"And that meant having to survive in an isolated space, I am surprised you managed to get enough food and air." Sana said shuddering, "I can't imagine you surviving without enough of those."

"Oh I ran out of those in a week," Amelia said laughing, "Yeah…almost died there."

"What?" Jenna said as she dropped a cup of water she had just grabbed, "You…never said anything."

"I mean, what were you going to do? No one could get to me anyway, so why bother?" Amelia said shrugging, "Besides I fixed the problem, had to get my skill into overdrive but I managed to survive."

"How did you even…" Jenna said confused, "Was that why the air smelled weird?"

"That's not it Eli-Eli, you are talented yes…" Rossie said nodding and walking towards Elizabeth to hug her, "But…you tend to bruteforce your problems…and that Electro-thing…sounds a little too…scientific."

"It is scientific, you need to get the right charge and have the setup ready to pick up the stray elements and separate them, or the whole thing can go so wrong…I blew a room of good material before I got it right," Amelia said nodding, "Anyway, I used that to separate water, waste and O2 to get what I needed."

"I also got some methane, hydrogen and other random elements, but those I didn't need to I sent them to other parts," Amelia said nodding, "But yeah, that is about right."

"Waste? What waste?" Jenna asked confused. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh…." Rossie only said as the idea seemed to hit her, "You poor thing…"

"What?" Renna asked also confuse, "What did she do?"

"Survive…" Elizabeth said shaking her head, "She survived."

"The Tower has septic tanks for the waste, usually we would haul them every month, but we hadn't done that yet since we had too many attacks and Jack was too busy to get around to scolding Catherine and get her to teleport the septic tank and get us a new one," Amelia said extending a hand and pointing it at the kitchen, from the sleeve of her hand a small drone came out and flew into the kitchen, it soon enough brought back a cup of fresh water, "It tastes kind of weird now that I don't know where this water came from…"

"....What did you do…?" Jenna said looking at Elizabeth who looked as if she would cry, to Rossie who was pale and shivering, "Amelia? What did you do?"

"Nothing much," Amelia said shrugging, "I took materials that I had excess off and turned them into materials I didn't have."

"Specifics Amelia," Jenna asked again, "Give me specifics."

"....I pulled the sewage water from the septic tank into my laboratory, separated the components as Elizabeth stated, I got fresh water that was then pulled away to be purified. I got fresh air from the water to fill the oxygen purifier and concentrator…And the rest of biomaterial was used for the food printer," Amelia said shrugging, "Nothing out of the world…Or well, it was out of this world since I was in a pseudo liminal space I guess?"

"I am so sorry," Jenna said sinking back into the sofa, "...I…I didn't think."

"Ah it wasn't so bad, once you get used to the smell of purified O2 it kind of grows on you," Amelia said with a sad smile, "Besides I kind of needed to do something about the septic tanks, having that much biological waste is kind of an issue if you don't have the means to dispose it safely."

"It is?" Elizabeth asked confused, wasn't it just…poop water?

"I mean, for normal people it isn't that much of an issue," Amelia admited, "But this isn't the wastage of normal people, most of the ones in that tower were at the peak of the human limits, besides I am kind of sure [The Beast Master] snuck some of the waste of his pets, into the septit tank."

"I am purging the atmosphere of that." Sana said in a grave tone, "I am also purging the food, the trees, I am purging everything organic."

"...Maybe just purge the atmosphere first and let anything organic die in the void?" Aura said from the side, "We aren't sure if they have organic defenses or something quite yet."

"There isn't anything organic there anymore, I couldn't afford to keep our biological defenses alive….to be honest I regret having thrown most of them into the void," Amelia said with a defeated sigh, "Had I known how long I would be there I would have kept a few as farm animals."

".... Weren't those the dangerous biological weapons that [The Beast Master] was attempting to tame?" Jenna asked confused.

"Meat is meat," Amelia merely said, "I ate printed food made with biomatter from a septic tank and some vitamins added to compensate for any imbalance."

"Hmm…..I am sure you do, Daughter of Catherine Starlight." Amelia said with a knowing nod.

"It isn't like that!" Elizabeth defended herself, it was part of the reason, Rossie was a cute girl and Elizabeth was probably doing exactly the kind of things her Mother fantasied and wanted (Or possibly did in her free time) with other Magical Girls, but it wasn't like that!

A wave of her hand and the image of the screen shifted from a black screen to the image of a man wearing a brown suit, he was frozen as if the image had been paused so the scream was both more haunting and gruesome, "He is...alive, but it looks as if he can't return alone."

"And you say he has no hope of returning?" Elizabeth asked, "Why did you have hope anyway, why not him?"

"Because I knew Jenna would find a way to get me home, there is a difference between being stuck in a place that you know has multiple ways to connect to Zaanam..." Amelia said pointing to where the rift had been open, "And a place where only your own skill can get you there."

"[The Traveler]'s skill....is not what people think, they think is space related, but it isn't, he makes look like it's space related," Jenna said sighing, "And while we know his element, not many people around know it, so no one can help him."
