Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1286: Yin and Yang

From the shadows, two assassins emerged, one clad in white assassin-style leather armour, the other dressed in black armour.

They each held daggers in their firm grip, their faces covered behind masks.

"To think words would reach the Immortal Realm this fast... It seems a lot has changed over the years." Kent smiled weakly, looking calmly at the two assassins sent by Lord Warden, his disciples.

"So you are the infamous Kent Madson," Yang (white) said, posing it as a question that demanded an answer, and also as a statement.

"I believe that is what my parents named me, so yes." Kent didn't seem bothered one bit that he was standing before two Shadow Immortals who were also True Immortals.

"May I ask who you two are and why you have been following me?"

Of course, Kent already knew their names. The tower harnesses the power of his [Heavenly Jade Eyes] to discern their identities, but he asked to see what they would say.

"Our identities aren't important here. What we would like to know is why you slaughtered every last member of the Dark Warden family." Yin spoke, sounding more arrogant than Yang. Clearly, she lived up to her nature as the yin in the yin-yang circle.

Kent chuckled, "Yin and Yang—disciples of the 3945th Dark Warden. Shadow Immortals and True Immortals who have already formed 7 Immortal Qis." Kent paused, then he added...

"It would be in your best interest to answer my questions truthfully, else you wouldn't be leaving here alive today." Saying that, Kent stomped on the ground, and 10,000 blood runes appeared in the air, forming a 2,000 km wide containment formation.

Yin and Yang instantly became alert.

The fact that Kent knew their identities and the fact that they had just lost their connection to the marks they left in the Immortal Realm, the same mark that would teleport them back home, made them panic.

Sensing the danger, Yang decided to speak, knowing his twin sister would only make things worse.

"No need for hostilities, Kent Madson. We are merely here to know why you committed the massacre that took the lives of all Dark Wardens in the Dark City."

"They touched somebody they shouldn't have. And the last time I checked, they are the Assassin Temple family."

Yang wanted to speak, but Yin beat him to it.

"And you think just because you are capable, you can do just anything you want? Do you even know the kind of people you are messing with?"

"But I do. However, I don't give a fuck, so maybe shut up and let the adults do the talking."

"You—" Yin tried to lunge at Kent, but Yang held her back.

"Relax, Yin. This is not the Immortal Realm where you can do as you please." They had been suppressed to the Heavenly Ascension stage, so despite having the expertise of Shadow Immortals, Kent was far stronger than they were.

So they were at a disadvantage, and especially now that they were locked in Kent's Blood Formation, making the wrong move would end their dear lives.

"Forgive her. She is much more hot-headed."

"I don't mind. Just know that what is done is done. I killed those who pointed their weapons at me and left those who minded their own business.

If you want revenge, then go ahead; if not, then I happen to be going somewhere important."

"Hold on, please, there is one more thing." Yang retrieved a token from his space ring and threw it to Kent.

"What is this?"

"Lord Warden wanted us to give it to you. It is a message recorder jade token. Just channel your energy into it, and the message will be transmitted to you."

Kent didn't waste time and quickly channelled his energy into it, as Yang said.

A message quickly entered his head. Kent accessed it, and the first thing he saw was the image of a man with an unfathomable aura seated in a throne-like chair.

The moment Kent laid his eyes on him, the need to go down on his knees and bow to him overwhelmed him. However, he resisted that compulsion and stood his ground.

On the outside, Yin and Yang furrowed their brows behind their masks. They had expected to see one thing: Kent on his knees, sweating profusely. However, his legs didn't even buckle. That told them all they needed to know.

Meanwhile, Kent kept his gaze locked on Lord Warden.

"If you are seeing this, then it means you managed to withstand 2% of my energy. You should be proud of yourself; not many Spirit Immortals can do that.

I ask that my two disciples pass this message along to you so I can personally extend an invitation. Ninety-five years from today, the Dark Warden family will be hosting a youth ball to test the young, promising talent in th Eastern Galaxy.

It will feature some of the rising assassins, swordsmen, spearmen, and many more. It would also be an event aimed at helping the young talent form alliances ahead of the upcoming opening of the Chaos Rift.

Naturally, only True Immortals and above are invited to such an event; however, I want you to be there.

Before you think this is a trap, know that by accepting this invitation, a contract stating that I will personally ensure your safety will be formed and signed between us.

The coordinates of Planet Warden will be transmitted to you, and the token in your hand is the official invitation.

So what do you think, wanna swing around in the ranks of your peers?"

Kent smiled, "Calling it my peers is just stretching it, but why not. I will be there."

The moment Kent gave his answer, the message ended, and the token turned into a jade invitation token.

"Cute," Kent stored away the token in his tower storage.

"Tell your master he should expect me," said Kent.

"I will do that," Yang replied, and Kent gave him a nod. He then turned to Yin and chuckled, "I don't know you, but from what I saw, your brother is the best thing to ever happen to you, so listen to him more often."

With another chuckle, Kent recalled his blood runes and vanished, leaving the two Shadow Immortals in a daze.

"I will kill him when I see him in the Immortal Realm," Yin said, gritting her teeth.

"You will have your chance when the Chaos Region opens. Until then, we'd better get back and enter seclusion. The Warden Youth Ball is just 95 years away; we wouldn't want to disgrace Master now, would we?"

Yin gritted her teeth, but then a sigh escaped her lips. "I guess you are right."

Not sure which direction Kent teleported to, Yin and Yang looked west for a few seconds before they vanished into the shadows.

Standing 60,000 km away, Kent chuckled... "See you later, Yin and Yang. Next time, maybe you wouldn't be suppressed by me again."

Kent teleported away again.

--

Inside the narrow hall on Planet Warden, a cold smile appeared on Lord Warden's face as he stared at a still image of Kent.

"So you are Kent Madson, huh?"

He waved his hand, and the image turned into a small jade figurine and flew into his palm.

"See you in 95 years, Kent Madson."

With another cold smile, he vanished from the narrow hall and appeared inside a teleportation gate.

"Where to today, Lord Warden?" an Immortal King asked, standing at attention.

"The Warden Sanctuary, God Realm."
