The [Cybertronic Gene] skill has evolved to SS-Rank
——
[Cybertronic Gene: This is an innate biological feature that allows the user to augment or replace various parts of his body with mechanical parts through a process known as Biological Mechanization. Mechanization is a very delicate and taxing process, and only experienced Machina Scientists are capable of carrying out the process while also ensuring the patient's survival. The Cybertronic Gene is ranked in a similar way to Superhuman rankings, and the rank of the Cybertronic Gene will determine how strong the user can become while augmenting his body.]
[At the current level, the user can only augment 30% of his biological body before the user suffers from Mechanical Poisoning.]

These tabs opened up in front of Jason, and Jason was able to read through them quickly while Ragnar flew towards the next dimensional tear. Jason could feel a strange new sensation in his body once he got the Cybertronic Gene skill, and he could only describe it as the same feeling he had whenever he swallowed a Mana Crystal and absorbed the genetic properties of other races! At that moment, Jason immediately knew that he had gained a new way to become even stronger in the future! But Jason didn't know if he would ever be willing to replace body parts with machines, and he decided that he wouldn't think about it for now! Jason closed down the tabs, and Gina held on tighter to Jason as Ragnar suddenly swerved to the left and began gliding down towards a foggy hill!
Doom!
Jason released a blast of mana through the region, and he watched as a massive tear ripped its way across the air before it expanded into a wide circle! Ragnar tucked its wings in, and it dove headfirst straight into the Dimensional Tear before it shot out and glided through the air in another world! The trip for the next twelve worlds continued like this. Jason and Gina would either use Ragnar to fly over large distances or they would walk through cities and use the shadows in dark regions. Jason continued to get messages about dead Machina soldiers from his system, and by the time Jason was reaching the twenty-fifth world on this journey, he had already killed more than thirty Machina soldiers! But Jason noticed that he hadn't killed any soldier that was higher than SS-Rank, and he realised that that Superior Commander Yelena was definitely still alive! Jason asked the Sovereign to tell him what happened with her, and it turned out that Yelena managed to teleport away from the previous battle before the Sovereign could take her head!
'I apologise for my oversight, my King. I did not think she would be willing to abandon her own soldiers in the middle of battle.'
The Sovereign apologised desperately, and Jason just waved the apology away. It wasn't the Sovereign's fault that Yelena was a coward, and it wasn't like this was the last time they would run into her. Jason had seen the look in Yelena's eyes before he left that world, and he knew for a fact that they would be seeing her again in the future! And it turned out that Jason's intuition proved to be correct once again! Because right before they reached the thirtieth world, Jason and Gina were attacked again! This time, the world that they found themselves in was known as [Desrin], and it was a world filled with vast wildernesses that stretched over the entire landscape! The sun in the sky was beating down on the wilderness with a bloody vengeance, and the moment Jason set foot in this world, he immediately knew that he did not like how fucking hot it was! The soil was dry, and almost every single tree here was shrivelled and dying like it hadn't touched water in centuries!
Gina put her hand above her head with a frown as she looked over the landscape, and she noticed a small group of people with golden skin and minimal clothing walking across the world in the distance. Those were the residents of this world, and their skin had evolved to be golden so that they could both reflect the heat beating down on them as well as blend into the wilderness while hunting. This was most likely a Rank II world since Gina couldn't feel any significant amount of magic in the air, and she cursed when the sun suddenly became even more intense! Why the fuck was this world so hot!?
Jason and Gina didn't know it, but the sun rays in this world were fifteen times stronger than what they were usually exposed to on Earth, and most people who came to this world without any preparations would find themselves passing out from dehydration within seconds just from how fucking hot it was! The only reason Gina and Jason were handling the heat easily was because they had been blessed by Fire multiple times, so their bodies were capable of withstanding far more heat than any normal person!
'We can't use the shadows here. We'll have to fly.'
Gina looked down at Jason when she heard him speak. Jason was crouching and looking out on the brightly lit wilderness, and Gina understood what Jason was talking about. The shadows only worked in darkened regions or regions that had shadows cast upon them by light! But this wilderness barely had any shadows at all, and the sun was so bright that it lit up everything in its brilliant gold, so travelling across this world with the shadows would be impossible!
'You're right. Let's just use Ragnar then. He might draw some attention, but I don't think walking through this heat is reasonable.'
Gina spoke up with a small frown, and Jason just chuckled before he nodded and called on Trigon. Ragnar had been working for a while now, so Jason decided to let him rest. Trigon let out a loud roar into the sky and spread its wings wide, and Jason looked up with a frown and gave it the same warning that he had given Ragnar about drawing attention to them! This managed to make Trigon calm down and it ducked its head shyly when Jason shook his head at it! Gina petted the large dragon and assured it that it would be able to roar when they were done, and Trigon huffed some steam in her face happily.
"No, no, bad dragon. It's way too hot for steam. Ahh, I feel so sticky and dirty. I need a bath so badly!"
Gina glared at Trigon in annoyance, and her frown deepened when she heard Trigon chuckle at her in amusement! Gina rolled her eyes with a small smile as she saw Jason climbing on Trigon's back, and she moved to take Jason's hand so he could bring her up to sit in front of him! The large dragon beat its wings with a massive grunt and took off from the ground, and Gina leaned back into Jason's chest with a smile as she watched the horizon grow larger in the distance! The sparse vegetation and dry soil stretched for as far as the eyes could see, but even though this world was almost inhospitable for anyone, Gina couldn't help but admit that it looked exotically beautiful from up here!
