The Beast turned its massive head towards the left, and Jason felt an intense shock pass through his heart as he locked eyes with the glowing white gaze of the Beast! What happened next was so unbelievable that Jason would look back on it and wonder how in the world he managed to survive! The Beast of the Apocalypse suddenly began to dissolve into pure white snow that spread out into the wind and was carried by the intense typhoon, and at the next moment, Jason felt every instinct in his body screaming at him to dodge!

Jason planted his foot into the ground and quickly shot to the side, and he watched with wide eyes as a giant foot suddenly came down from above and slammed into the spot where he had just been!

BOOM!

The snow all around Jason suddenly began to reform back into the body of the beast, and Jason realised that he was at even more of a disadvantage than he had thought! The beast could move through the snow!? What sort of monster was this!?

SLAM!

PHWOOM!

The beast slammed its foot into the ground, and its palm suddenly broke through the sound barrier as it flew towards Jason's body! Jason was still in the middle of his jump from earlier, and he knew immediately that he wasn't going to be able to dodge, so Jason crossed his arms in front of his body and braced himself as a defensive rune on his chest came to life! A bright red shield formed around Jason's body, and at the next second, the beast slapped Jason across the world like he was a fucking golf ball!

BOOOM!!

For the first time in a long time, Jason felt pain! True, unbearable, intense pain shot through Jason's hands as he felt his bones crack from the impact! The Rune sequence hadn't even managed to last for more than a second after getting hit by the Beast! The runes were only third rank, so they couldn't stand up to the sheer strength that the beast unleashed, and Jason grit his teeth as he felt them break under the pressure before his body shot through the air like a rocket!

'Jason! I'm coming out! I'm coming to help you!'

Gina immediately shouted, and Jason shouted back for her to stay inside the Alternate Dimension! This wasn't something that she could handle! But Gina wasn't even listening to Jason, and she had already appeared behind Jason as she tried to catch him! But Jason was moving so quickly at that moment that Gina felt all the air leave her lungs as he slammed into her with intense force, and both of them were sent flying back towards the ground like meteors! Jason immediately turned around and grabbed Gina so that he was the one who would hit the ground first, and at the next moment, they crashed into the ground and shook the entire world with a massive tremor!

BOOOOMMM!!!

Jason's body dug a massive trench across the ground as it slid back for more than five hundred meters before finally stopping in the middle of a massive ditch.

"Fuck."

Jason cursed as he felt pain shooting through his entire body! His hands were already healing from the impact, and Jason quickly looked down at Gina worriedly! Gina was cradled in Jason's hands, and the moment the intense winds washed over them, Jason could feel Gina shiver from the intense cold! This was exactly why Jason didn't want Gina to come out here! Jason knew that the only thing that was keeping him from freezing to death at this moment was his high constitution as a TITAN, as well as the blessing of fire that Rumunaga had given him! Gina had literally just advanced into the rank of an SSS-Rank a few days ago, so there was no way she was strong enough to withstand this cold!

Jason called out to Gina in shock as he saw the Beast forming from the snow behind her! Gina turned around with wide eyes, and she felt an intense surge of fear pass through her heart when she saw the beast's hand coming towards her!

[Aegis of the Ninefold Will] has been activated

Jason quickly grabbed Gina and pulled her close while putting his hand out towards the beast and activating the defensive artefact, and Gina quickly gathered all the mana that she had and created the strongest wall of wind that she had ever made!

KA-TOOM!!!!!

BOOM!!!

Another blast echoed through the region as the Beast broke the sound barrier again before its palm slammed onto the wind barrier that Gina had created! Gina let out a scream of pain as her wall of wind was immediately shattered to pieces! But the wall of wind had managed to absorb some of the force from the Beast's hit, so when it finally slammed into the brightly coloured defensive artefact, the artefact didn't have to work as hard as it would have! Jason grunted when he felt the pressure behind that hit, but he cursed when the Aegis also broke, and he was forced to absorb the rest of the impact using his already injured arm!

Crack!

Jason felt his arm finally snap from taking too many hits, and they flew back far into the distance before they slammed into the ground and dug a massive trench into the ice! Gina let out a horrified scream when she saw Jason's injured arm, and she looked at him with worry on her face as she tried to come up with some way to help! This beast was beyond anything Gina or Jason had thought that they would ever face! When the system told Jason that this beast was a TITAN, Jason thought that he would at least be able to hold it off for a few seconds with his power so that they could find a way to escape from it, but with what Jason had just experienced, he knew that he had been wrong! He had been so fucking wrong that it was almost laughable! This beast wasn't something that he could even hold back for a moment! It was just too strong!

"Jason, your arm! Your arm is broken!"

"Don't worry about it, I'm fine! Get out here, you bastards!"

Jason shouted to the dragons in his Legion, and more than a hundred dragons immediately surged out from the Alternate Dimension just as the Beast appeared once again! Jason cursed as many of the dragons were immediately pulled away by the intense winds swirling around the Beast, but the more powerful dragons were able to stabilize themselves, and Jason watched as Ragnar and Trigon began to unleash intense fire blasts at the Beast to distract it! Ragnar and Trigon were SSS-Rank beasts that also had the blessing of fire deep inside them and that allowed them to tolerate the intense cold in the same way that Jason was able to, but the SS-Rank dragons that had also come out to help could feel the cold seeping into their hearts and Jason saw many of them couldn't even produce any flames at all since it was so freaking cold!

Jason quickly focused on his arm, and he activated a Legion Skill!

[King's Guard] has been activated!

The injury on Jason's hand suddenly healed, and Jason sent a silent apology to one of the Rook Rank superhumans in his Legion who suddenly received a broken arm in exchange! The [King's Guard] skill allowed Jason to transfer any non-lethal damage that he received to any of the Rook Rank subordinates in his Legion, and this would allow Jason to continue fighting without having to worry about being held down by the injury!
