"With that, we're halfway through the first round of the tournament, let's keep the ball rolling! Match five participants, head on down to the arena!"

The fourth match had just ended, with four more remaining for the first round.

"Looks like it's my turn now," Sighed Raven, before adding, "I don't get why he doesn't just teleport us down there. Well, whatever, might as well get this over with."

"Good luck, Raven, you've got this," Smiled Celia encouragingly.

"Thanks, appreciate the support," He replied with a grin.

"I mean, I'd be more worried about his opponent," Chimed in Tacitus with a shrug.

"Wrap it up nice and quick, bro," Added Ravella, giving him a pat on the shoulder before he made his way down to the arena.

As he stepped onto the arena, along with his opponent, the countdown began ticking down, as Raven laced his fingers and stretched his arms out, crackling his knuckles as he tranformed into his full Homunculus form.

His opponent was from the world with superheroes, and he wasn't looking too confident. Raven had defeated the strongest member of that team in the first contest, and with relative ease at that.

As the countdown ended, Raven fired out a swirling blast of flames towards his opponent, who quickly formed a wall made of solid, transparent blue energy, deep cracks spreading out across it as the flames collided against it.

He then formed a large hammer with the energy and hurled it towards Raven, grimacing as Raven caught it with ease and shattered it, before firing a pair of rapid purple beams towards his opponent, who quickly formed another wall of solid energy in front of himself.

He quickly leapt across to his right as the beams burst right through his defense, before crying out in pain as one of the beams pierced through the middle of his left bicep, drilling through his arm.

As the beam burst through before petering out, blood streamed down his arm before he unleashed a barrage of arrows with his solidified energy towards Raven.

Raven inhaled deeply and quietly, before unleashing a high-pitched, ringing sonic screech, blowing the arrows away before his opponent quickly surrounded himself in a dome of solidified blue energy to block out the attack.

He raced away as Raven fired his beams again, shooting right through the dome and grazing his opponent's back, a hiss of pain ringing out as the beams inflicting a deep scorched trail across the middle of his back.

His skin sizzled around that spot as wisps of smoke billowed out, before he formed a large spiky sphere of solidified energy and launched it towards Raven.

Raven spread out his wings and flew straight towards the sphere, drawing back his right fist before driving it forward as he closed in on the sphere, shattering it to bits upon impact, before dozens of thorny tendrils of blue energy came zipping up towards him, whipping across the air with immense speed.

Raven zipped around, weaving through the air to evade the tendrils, a few missing him by a hair, before he let out a quiet sigh and unleashed his full power, a burst of energy erupting around him and blowing the tendrils away as he tranformed, ascending to his Dark form.

The air around him shimmered intensely as streaks of flames swirled around his body, before a stifling shockwave of heat erupted out, a slight gasp ringing out from below as the wave of heat struck his opponent, inflicting slight burns across his skin as he stumbled back.

Raven then extended out dozens of nozzles all around his body, before firing out dense gusts of paralyzing poison mist from the nozzles, the mist rapidly spreading out across the arena.

His opponent quickly formed a gas mask with his blue energy, putting it over his nose and mouth before he could inhale any of the mist, before he froze in fear as Raven swooped down and landed in front of him in the blink of an eye.

He began to back away in alarm, before a rapid blur zipped across, his head jerking across to the right as Raven struck the gas mask with the back of his fist, whipping his left arm across.

The gas mask shattered to pieces, a couple of teeth flying out of his opponent's mouth, blood filling the inside of his mouth and running out the corners of his mouth as he stumbled back, his left cheek swelling up rapidly.

He shakily raised his hand as he began to form another energy construct, before freezing as he lost sight of Raven, slowly shifting his gaze back as he sensed a looming, ominous presence behind him.

"It's hard to control my strength in this state, and I don't want to kill if I don't have to, so...," Uttered Raven, before piercing the tips of his claws into his opponent's back, pumping his paralyzing venom into his blood stream.

As he pulled his claws back out, his opponent collapsed and hit the arena with a thud, unable to move a muscle, with the venom coursing through his body.

Raven waited for a moment, before letting out an annoyed sigh as no announcement came. He reverted back to his Homunculus form, before striking the back of his opponent's neck, knocking him out.

"And the winner of the fifth match of round one is Raven Kyzer!"

"Tch, he could've just announced it after I paralyzed the guy, the fight was already as good as over by that point," Raven thought to himself, letting out a slight huff.

He then receded his inhuman features, reverting to his base form, right as he got teleported back up to his team in the bleachers.

"Well, that was about as one-sided as I'd expect from you," Aster greeted him with a wry smile.

"Way to go, Raven," Smiled Celia, giving me a high five.

"Thanks...but this has still only just gotten started. There's still a lot more to go before we're done here."
