Diamond, mithril, uranium, titanium, adamantine—pretty much every precious stone and ore this primordial chaos world could cough up, Kael had already taken it. His name had spread across the entire realm as that guy who raids mines like it's a daily hobby. Yet after all the looting and wandering for almost three straight months, he had found only one Compound-X mine. Just one.
He had burned through most of his Compound-X forging his weapon. Thinking back on how freely he used to waste the stuff… he almost laughed. He behaved like someone who owned an infinite supply. Meanwhile, even though he possessed tons of rare ores, he never absorbed any of them. None had the ability to push his cultivation upward anyway.
But he did gain something else—something arguably more important.
His comprehension of runes and inscriptions had skyrocketed. Those ancient energy beings, especially that fire energy clan with members older than mountains, had taught him inscriptions long forgotten. He even learned new forging techniques for handling each precious ore he collected. As usual, he kept pushing his limits, experimenting on how best to express his power. In his words, "There are endless ways to use your power, so why stick to one?"
His subspace had evolved too. It could now support full fauna, basically a habitable miniature world—just missing a world core, so its stability was still… questionable.

Then, after weeks of peace, chaos returned. The entire realm erupted when a special zone was discovered—overflowing with treasures and resources so pure that every major force began fighting over them. Strong, low-key geniuses jumped out of hiding just to carve out their own sectors and hoard whatever they could.
The news reached Kael, and he didn't hesitate. According to the intel he gathered, the thing he wanted—the origin orb—rested at the very center of that zone. They called it the Origin Zone, and everything inside it was ancient and frighteningly pure.
On his way, he spotted someone zooming past on a high-end jet bike. A moment later, another small jet glided overhead. That was when Kael remembered something.
A spaceship-like construct, roughly the size of a car, appeared beside him as if pulled from thin air. He placed a hand on it, and the X-shuttle flared to life in yellow streaks.
This shuttle was among the gadgets Zulek gave him to finish certain experiments. It wasn't just a vehicle—it was one of the core components of Augustus, making it the most advanced system below god level.
Kael stepped in and instantly warped into the inner space. The interior was massive—easily capable of housing a million people comfortably. Countless facilities lined the halls, and dormant machinery hummed back to life, signaling that this thing hadn't been used in ages.
[Hey you, you finally remembered this shuttle today. I swear you just want to show off.]
A teasing voice echoed. Augustus—manifested physically this time—stood nearby. He chose to appear as a young boy with short green hair, lounging casually in a chair. Yep, that was him. Sure, he could switch to a female form, but he preferred being a guy.
"Launch some mini satellites. Scan the area," Kael said, brushing off the taunt.
[Pfft.]
A few minutes later, a massive holographic map unfolded before him. Kael locked onto his destination immediately.
----
In this area of land up to thousand miles in diameter was filled with rich and pure Qi. Cultivating here will surely be a boom to cultivators. This area is divided into five zones. The 5th and outermost zone is till 100 times richer in Qi than even regular places in the primordial chaos world. This zone is filled with countless stones, ores, but no Compound-X was found. Even herbs for alchemists were there. It was currently in chaos as everyone was fighting each other.
Kael just skipped this zone and went to the fourth zone. Yooo, what greeted him was streams of Compound-X Qi flowing in the air. Immediately he got off his shuttle and zoomed off.
Here is a Compound-X mine, a very rich one, but the funny thing is that it was not crowded. Why, because of those who are fighting to claim it. Kael not caring walked towards the mine. Wanting to use his spatial powers to take a percentage of the mine and leave but everything can't be easy.
A wave of Earth energy blew clearing even the less crowded people. A young man came outside dragging a very long blade on the ground.
(AN: From now on, energy will be used instead of element)
This man has a low green hair cut. Dragging his spiked blade on the rich Qi ground, he looked at Kael with a determined eye.
"My name is James. I have heard of you, the yellow lightning guy." He said.
James, an Earth elemental with an arena rank of world class 5. He is known all over milky way galaxy because he is among those in master realm to enter world class arena rank.
"Yep, my name's Kael. Nice to meet you. I am here to take some of this Compound-X and leave."
"Heh, you have to get past me." James replied.
Facepalming and sighing, Kael replied. "Do we have to do this?"
James aura sharpened and he brandished his blade. "Let's fight."
