Saquin scanned through his status screen.
It had not changed much since the last time he viewed it, only his rank tab had changed.
He had filled up the Senaressence bar and is now eligible to advance.
He contemplated it for a moment before he decided to postpone the advancement for now.
Like he said earlier, his speed of advancement is too fast. If he keeps up with this pace, he will never be able to grow into his power.
He was already severely lacking in terms of knowledge on the Empowered world, he should not add more problems to the table.
Then his mind went to tens of Senaressence waiting for him to still absorb. Also, the Access closure would also grant him extra rewards.
"Ah, let's just deal with it all later." He flopped his head on a huge piece of debris he laid on.
He was already completely healed.
It seems my regeneration ability is really that much stronger after my advancement.
He thought back to how slow it was for him to heal his injuries after the end of his Trial.
Now, even though his recent injuries were not as severe as then, he was back to full shape in less than five minutes.
And this is without him pouring Senar into the Ability's engine.
The Ability had totally depended on the usual Senar circulation in his blood. In a way, this was his passive healing not his active.
How much stronger would his healing speed be in the future after much more advancement?
He thought of this, then shook his head.
The Ability would most likely always be at this level. After all, as the Ability got stronger and his Senar usage got better, his body would also get more durable, in other words, more denser.
His skin and bones would get tougher, more unnatural to accommodate the semi-supernatural power of Senar.
This would then create a balance between his healing speed increments and his healing necessity.
Fascinating.
It seems the Empowered World would be even more interesting to break down than he thought.
"Ah." Saquin signed in laziness. "So much work to do."
Just now, he remembered that he had put off a lot of things just to come to the city to have fun.
The work keeps piling up.
"So... This is what freedom feels like." Saquin muttered. "Like shit."
At that moment, a figure appeared above the city.
Shalis.
Damn, she is fast.
She surveyed the whole city with her gaze before it landed on him.
"Hey, welcome back Shalis."
He smiled at her.
"Young Master, how are you doing? Are you okay? What happened here?"
She appeared before him in an instant.
"As you can see I am good." Saquin sat up. "And as for what happened here..." Saquin looked around the ruins of the city like it was the first time he was seeing it himself. "Let's just say an Access happened."
"An Access, huh? No wonder I felt some disturbance in the Senar circulation of the planet." Shalis did not seem that surprised by the appearance of an Access.
"What Tier was it, Young Master?" She asked him.
"A Tier 3." Saquin replied. "Of the Solo Abyss type."
"Woah, a Tier 3. Did you clear it all by yourself?" Shalis dished out another question.
"Yea." Saquin nodded. Then, he added, "with some casualties of course." He gestured to the remnants of the city.
"Hmm. That is to be expected of a Tier 3, I am surprised the damage was only this extensive." She nodded at Saquin, a proud expression on her face.
Then, she pouted.
"But, why did you not call for me?"
"Oh." Saquin paused, opting to choose his next words carefully. "The thing is it all happened so fast. One minute, me and Simons were partying away and the next... Boom, destruction everywhere."
"Oh." Shalis seemed to understand where he was coming from. But. "Even at that, it would only take but a thought to contact me, so..."
"Yea, but consider that in this Empowered World, a thought late can lead to death." Saquin placed a point on the table.
"I see. You are right." Shalis knew things were not as dire as he was saying, but the point was not so easily refutable.
Besides, something else came up in her mind.
"Wait Young Master, did you by any chance know that an Access break was going to take place here in the city? So, you sent me away because you want to horde the action to yourself?" She pressed him.
"Now you are reaching, Shalis." Saquin dismissed the accusation with a scoff. Her accusation this time was invalid as he in fact did not know about the Access until much later.
"Are you sure?" Shalis did not completely believe him.
"Pretty sure. Now, enough with the chit chat, let's go greet the people you brought with you." Saquin diverted the conversation as took off from the ground, flying towards the incoming aircraft.
Saquin could see the aircraft was damaged, a human sized hole had been punched through in the pilot area. He could easily guess who the culprit was.
"Hey..." Saquin waved as he came to a stop abruptly in front of the aircraft. He had flown here at top speed but still lost miserably to Shalis.
He received a mix array of greetings from the aircraft's residence.
He spotted the person that commanded the most presence of the group.
"And you must be Adept Mayor..."
---
"Ah!" Saquin stretched each of limbs as he woke up.
He was back in the warehouse and it had been over a day since the Access closure.
[ Bloodline Assimilation in progress...
7 days, 3 hours+ remaining. ]
And he slept through most of it.
After the brief meeting with Mayor.
The meeting which helped him gain a bit of knowledge about his new company and also deliver his intentions to the man.
His intentions of having the man help in his applications to the top Academies of the galaxy.
He had immediately headed back to the warehouse, completely ignoring the questions about what had happened in the city.
After reaching the warehouse, he decided to first look into his Cores as his first chore.
But ultimately did not when the World Will had informed him that Cores were more important in the Underworld than the vast universe. Especially at the lower level.
And so, he postponed it till later.
Logically, he should have just moved on to the other pressing matters he had at hand but instead he decided to take a nap which quickly turned into a short hibernation.
Scratching the back of his head, his mind spun through the list of things he needed to do. He had a headache from the amount of things. He could not help but ask himself.
"What should I do now?"
