Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven

Chapter 249: The King's Death

Ved grinned but didn't answer Volstone. He immediately attacked after. He already knew his attacks were meaningless.

However he needed to draw this old man's attention for as long as possible. " Are you not going to answer me?"

Ved still didn't say anything. " So be it." Volstone's muscles expanded. He disappeared from Ved's sight.

It happened so fast Ved didn't even feel the pain before the sea below turned red with his blood.

He flew back up and attacked but it was like a child trying to topple an elephant. Each of his attacks shattered like eggs against rock.

His martial intent couldn't even leave a dent on Volstone. As the fight continued he felt a powerful will try to grab his image.

The will had reached an absurd level, to the point the world itself reacted to it, it power was beyond what the world can allow.

Clouds gathered in the sky covering the entire minor world like a blanket. A powerful aura converged around Volstone.

He frowned and weakened his power to the peak of what the world can allow. " It seems I can't figure out the secret of your image and it appears you aren't willing to tell me

Well then, there's no point keeping you alive." A red aura covered his entire body, the world shook and vibrated.

The vibrations went beyond the boundaries of the minor world into Earth. This drew the attention of multiple figures on earth.

However it was also noticed by those standing above the world. Right at that moment the beast army arrived.

Fenral looked down at the blue planet and growled. His eyes turned to an old man floating above the planet.

" Why do I sense your aura there boy? What trickery have you played?* He asked with a growl.

Ved would've been able to recognise this old man had he been here for this was Volstone, the man he was currently fighting.

Just as Fenral's aura pressed on Volstone's shoulder, a humanoid sun stood Infront of him shielding him. This burning human was as tall as mountains.

His power shook the space and time itself. Distortions appeared around him. " You dare stand in my way Dawn? Move aside and let this child speak for himself."

Dawn sighed, his breath burnt through the empty void like solar flares. " You will address me directly king of wolves, not my subject."

" I said move." Fenral growled. " Still violent as ever old one." They heard a voice whisper in a playful tone behind them.

Space rippled and out came a beautiful woman in a green leafy dress. She had a crown of leaves and twigs on her heard.

" Noada." Grumbled Soran. Noada, one of the three human sovereigns, the ruler of the empire of trees.

Queen of the druids smiled at Soran. " Queen of serpents, oh how lovely to see you again, your wounds have healed it seems."

Soran hissed at her. Space rippled again and out came a fleet of spaceships. Through the windshield of the biggest spaceship they can see the bridge.

On the captain's chair which looked more like a throne sat a man clad in silver robotic armour.

This was the last of the human sovereigns, the ruler of steel and thunder, Shogani. Shogani floated through the wind shield like it was air and appeared next to Noada and Dawn.

" Come out, there's no use in you hiding." Fenral whispered. Space rippled and multiple sovereigns appeared.

Most beings in the universe didn't even know so many sovereigns existed. However he noticed only few sovereigns were real.

Most were fake sovereigns, basically creation realm experts who assimilated the sigil of a fallen sovereign.

Most were human and Ahnunaki which made sense, he knew Shogani and Enrallel, one of the two Ahnunaki sovereigns had been researching that technology.

The rest were genuine sovereigns from the other races, people even he would be wise to not underestimate.

" So you'll here, this makes things easier, saves me the trouble of hunting you all down."

The other sovereigns grew tense, while they outnumbered the sovereigns of the beast race and had some whose grades matched their eyes they were still careful.

Each one of the three oldest beast sovereigns was a descended of incredibly powerful beasts, on the same grade they were naturally stronger.

Especially Fenral whose ancestor the Fenrir was a peer of the dragons and phoenixes themselves.

The beast race was the first to attack, the battle shook space and time itself. It shockwaves could be felt through the entire universe.

Every single star in the universe turned dark as Dawn used his Sigil to Syphon their power.

In their stead moons as bright as stars themselves were born. Their silver light covered the entire universe. Fenral had taken action.

Soran faced Noada and other sovereigns, her laws of illusion were so powerful she can turn truth into an illusion and illusion into truth.

Space around them disappeared and they appeared in a domain of her power. An illusory domain turned real.

In here, her power was supreme. However her opponents weren't weaklings either. Noada as a druid can take the form and power of any beast as long their bloodline grade doesn't surpass her vessel.

She transformed into a phoenix, she knew she couldn't easily defeat Soran but a phoenix's ability to regenate would keep her alive in the case of an accident.

It was fortunate these powerful beings were fighting in the mirror realm or the entire universe would've been in danger.

Back on earth, things weren't looking so good for Ved. Realising he couldn't get the secret of the image from Ved, Volstone stopped playing.

Not to mention his real body already knew what's happening and wanted to finish this fight quickly.

He let lose. He swiped his hand down. Time seemed to freeze, everybody turned and looked as a massive red hand fell from the sky.

The hand was so huge it blotted out the entire sky, the world shook under it presence, Ved fired nuclear blasts, beams, lightning bolt and everything he could.

However none managed to even slow down the hand. His image shook, it branches danced in the air and it shone with blinding green light.

The dragon image roared to the sky, he felt his entire body surpass the limit of what he thought possible.

Both the tree and dragon image turned physical for a moment. A tiny tree bark fell on his head then the hand landed shattering his entire body into blood mist.

The world stood still then a cry of pain echoed through the sky as White screamed with rage and sorrow.

The entire beast race felt their hearts bleed, their king had died.
