The echoes of sorrow reverberated across the world. Somewhere in Africa, in the eye of a massive snowstorm a beautiful woman stood.
Tears streamed down her eyes making the storm around her stronger. She raised her head and looked up.
Her eyes were blank without a shred of emotion yet tears couldn't stop falling. Suddenly they stopped.
Clarify returned to her for a moment. " Still there." She whispered softly then continued on her path.
The roars of beasts reverberated across the entire world, the earth, the sky and the seas shook.
The black towers in every beast city shook, echoes of pain could be felt by any who gazed upon it.
This shocked the new residents who took over said cities. Inside those towers a dark skinned woman could be seen.
She looked saddened as she gazed upon the world. This was Nal, the tower spirit, it wasn't only beasts who felt it.
Cat clenched her fist. " Naledi." She whispered with worry. She wasn't very worried about the beast king though she still felt sorry for him.
He was no longer the Alex she remembered but she once knew him and knew how Naledi felt about him and knew this would kill her inside.
It was strange how everybody could feel it across the entire world as if the world itself was mourning him.
Everybody except one thought he was dead, only she could feel him even though barely, she could feel he was alive.
Back in the minor world, the war stopped and everybody looked at where Ved was. The place was covered by blood mist.
Volstone stood in the air with his hands behind his back smirking at the beast army. White went insane.
She lunged at Volstone disregarding her own life but she wasn't the only one, every beast in this war grew mad.
Asoris stopped White and faced Volstone by herself. Angry as White was, she was not an idiot, she knew she couldn't defeat Volstone.
She went against others, as Asoris faced Volstone, their battle shook the sky with neither gaining an advantage.
However her power was borrowed while his was his own. Eventually her law fruit will run out and she won't be able to last a single second against him.
She knew this but so did Linglong, she too
was fuming with rage. " Sky is the pillar, solid as stone, chains in the air like serpent's new born, let my voice paint the world and forever bound my foe." Linglong uttered a spell in dragon tongue.
Before anybody could react chains appeared in the sky and bound Volstone, these chains weren't powerful enough to stop him.
But they gave Asoris an opening, her law fruit created a massive white sword and slashed Volstone.
He barely managed to raise a defence, a massive gash appeared on his chest and he fell to the sea below.
However these actions weren't without a cost, Linglong was distracted by her move giving her opponents a chance to attack.
Her green scales flew through the air along with her blood. She gritted her teeth and lunged back into the fight.
The battle grew more intense with the beast army growing more and more desperate, the loss of Ved made things harder.
They started dying faster, some detonated their beast cores taking their enemies with them.
While everything was happening, deep below the sea was a ball of tree bark falling into the ocean floor.
Inside this tiny ball was a small white fleshy substance. It was a piece of Ved's brain still pulsing with electrical pulses.
The brain was not fully dead but it was deteriorating rapidly. Ved opened his eyes and found himself in a dark space.
He looked around and saw a massive tree floating in this dark space, on it branches was a huge black dragon with golden eyes.
The tree was shining with solf green light while the dragon was glowing gold like a sun yet it light did not lit up this space.
Around him were five spheres floating and revolving around him. He realised what they were immediately.
His abilities, ' I see, I'm in my soul space.' he remembered what happened before he got here and sighed.
' Seems I died in the end.' it was further confirmed by the soul space crumbling slowly around him and him losing his consciousness with each passing second.
Even his abilities were becoming faint, he knew he wasn't fully dead yet but he was drawing close to it.
Suddenly he noticed something else, his image wasn't crumbling but it should've. An image was part of ones being even more than their abilities.
It should've been the first to go alongside his soul. 'However nothing matters now, figuring that out won't change..' he stopped.
' Wait if the image.. ha haha hahahaha. I'm not going to die, not yet, I can't die yet.' suddenly his image changed.
Ved realised the image wasn't fully connected to his soul as if it didn't belong to him which was strange.
He could feel it like he could his own arm yet it also felt separate like an independent entity and like he couldn't control it even if he tried.
The tree image opened up on it trunk, out came a green life drop but this was different from the ones before.
It shone with soft green light and glistened like a gem. It went towards his soul, the same thing was happening outside.
They all suddenly noticed something they ignored, his image was yet to disappear, suddenly the tree split open, opening a small eye like hole on it trunk.
Out came a drop of life essence, the moment they saw this everybody felt their throat dry and they swallowed.
This life essence drop was much more pure than those they saw before. The beasts had a feeling it would greatly benefit their bloodlines.
Other races felt the same, the humans could tell it had massive benefit for them too. The drop fell to the ocean slowly.
The other races rushed to grab it but the beast race stood in their way. It eventually disappeared below the sea.
Everybody stood still, the drop reached the tree bark and fell on Ved's piece of brain matter.
The electric pulses grew stronger and the brain started regenerating. However something else happened.
Something only those above the world noticed. A wave spread out from him, an invisible wave that broadcasted to the entire universe about who he is.
6 beings stood outside the walls of the universe unmoving, they had stood like this for ages, the moment they felt the wave they moved for the first time in countless years.
