Even though he learnt the nameless ones have taken interest in him, that was a problem for later.

For now, he was just glad the war was over, he had already lost enough of his people, not to mention he can barely remain conscious.

While he acted like he was fine, he was just bluffing, the reconstruction of his body took too much mental energy and it was yet to be complete.

He ordered his subordinates to clean up the battlefield, the entire sea had turned red and was littered with corpses.

While he would love to eat them, he barely had the energy to keep his eyes open however he did order then to keep the corpses of their enemies for when he wakes up.

He teleported to his chambers in the tower, when he got there he found Nal already waiting for him.

" Greetings my lord." He nodded, she realised his condition and didn't bother him, he fell asleep right after.

However just as his consciousness was about to drift away he heard a troubling message from Manas.

" The herald of the Nameless of plagues is descending." He had no time no energy to think about it and went to sleep.

A few days after he went into slumber, the battlefield was cleaned and the corpses frozen in ice.

In Russia, a young woman was tending to her fields using her vessel that can control and promote the growth of plants, she lived alone outside the cities tending to her old family farm.

Even though the world was very dangerous now, she never once abandoned her farm, it was the last remnant of her family.

Fortunately she was a rank 3 expert herself and had a lot of power. Suddenly a space rift appeared and swallowed her leaving the farm in silence.

On the ice mountains of Russia, a space rift opened and out came a pale humanoid figure with pitch black eyes without a single spot of white.

This figure was only around two metres tall and dressed in black hooded robes that dragged on the snow.

It looked at the world around it and sighed, then started walking off, however it left no footprints on the snow.

After it left, the plants started withering, it walked until it saw a small snow cricket. It picked it up and gently stroked it like a precious child.

Then it kissed the cricket and let it go, the cricket flew through the air and found a patch of grass.

It ate the grass and when it was full it split into two, the two crickets ate more grass splitting again and again.

In less than an hour there were already tens of thousands of crickets. They all took off looking for more food.

The pale figure sat next to the river. " Thirsty, I'm so thirsty." It voice didn't sounded feminine but it was hoarse.

It reached it hand to scoop water but the moment it touch it the river turned black. It pulled back it hand and looked at it.

Black tears streamed down it eyes and they landed on the snow. Then it stood up and walked off with unsteady steps.

It saw a village in the distance, it tried to walk faster but it legs felt heavy. Eventually it reached the gate of the village.

" Water, I need water." The guards raised their spears. " Stay your hand and reveal yourself."

" Please I need water, please." The figure begged. " I said reveal yourself." One of the guards shouted threateningly.

It took off it hood revealing a pale white skin, pitch black hair and eyes, it looked feminine and extremely beautiful.

However the moment they saw her, the guards took a step back. " Stay back alien or I swear to god I will kill you."

" Water please I'm begging you." The guard clicked his tongue. " Leave this place before I take off your head."

Although the guard said that he was very terrified, he still remembers the terror of the aliens who left merely days ago.

Even the humans ones still treated them like lower class citizens, basically slaves, he couldn't allow this one to enter the village.

" Why? Why won't you give me water?" The guards faces changed. A creature like this shouldn't be in so much need for water.

They suspected she had other plans and they couldn't allow her to succeed. Just as they were about to chase her away the gate opened.

Out came a little girl, barely ten years old, she was clutching a teddy bear on her chest. " Anna, stay back." Shouted one of the guards.

This girl Anna was very protected by the village, she had lost both her parents while they were saving the entire village so she was the beloved adopted daughter of the entire village.

" It's okay Mr Ivanov, I don't think the pretty big sister want to hurt me." She looked at the pale woman.

" What's you name?" She asked in a sweet voice. The pale woman opened her mouth then closed it.

" I..I don't know." Anna smiled sweetly, " That's okay, we can think of a pretty name together, why do you look sosad?"

The paje woman raised her head slightly. " Thirsty." Anna nodded then ran back the village.

She came back with a jug of water. " Here pretty big sister" She gave the jug to the pale woman while clutching her teddy bear on one hand. " Thank you."

The woman stretched her hand to take the jug but then her finger slightly touched Anna's hand.

The world seemed to freeze, Anna looked at her hand with fear. " What's happening? Why is my hand turning black? It hurt, it hurt so much please make it stop."

Her hand started turning black, the pale woman panicked. " No, no no no, please no." She screamed but nothing helped.

" Big sister,I'm so scared, it's cold and it hurt so much, I can't see, mommy." She whispered with a weak voice while tightly clutching her teddy bear.

The pale woman started shaking with fear. " Why why why, I don't want this I don't want this, why is this happening."

The guards eyes turned red with rage. " Annaaa." He shouted. " You monster, you killed Anna, I know we should not have trusted you."

" No no I didn't mean to, I never wanted..." She tried to defend herself. " Shut up." The guard roared.

More of the villagers arrived in time to see Anna's body turn to dust. They grew mad with rage.

One of them threw a fireball at her. She saw it coming and crouched over Anna's decaying body to protect it.

The fireball exploded. When the flames cleared she appeared unharmed but all that was left of Anna was a tattered white dress and the teddy bear.

She reached out and grabbed the dress but it turned into dust on her hand. She could no longer hold back and cried.

Tears streamed down her eyes like rivers but when they touched the ground it turned black.

A black aura covered her body, black spot rose from the ground and started spinning around her then spread out without her control.

The villagers had no chance to react before they decayed and turned into dust. Within seconds the entire village, people and houses alike were gone, turned into dust.

She reached out with her will and grabbed the teddy bear afraid to touch it with her hand then stood up, she looked at the disappeared village.

" I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." She whispered then heard a terrifying voice in her head. ' Welcome child of plagues, you're now one of the blessed ones, rejoice.'
