Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 205: Surprise Island Expansion Pack

Garion planted his hands on his hips and looked back and forth between Raviel and Aveline with a teasing grin.

"So then," he said, "Patriarch Raviel… Matriarch Aveline… Where do you two want to move?"

Both of them froze like someone had just asked them to pick a wedding venue.

Aveline blinked. "Uh… anywhere is possible, isn't it? We already have the [Origins]."

Raviel crossed his arms, brows furrowing. "Yeah. As long as the land can be altered, we're… free to choose."

Garion shrugged casually. "Exactly. I'll leave it to you two. Find a spot that suits you both."

Raviel rubbed his temple. "Choosing a place isn't simple. We need a location with good mana flow, defensible terrain, and a stable environment."

Garion cut in, waving a hand. "Don't overthink it. You've got [Origins]. You can literally reshape mountains."

Aveline sighed, massaging her forehead. "That's what makes it difficult… there are too many choices."

Clara raised her hand like a school kid. "Just pick a nice place with pretty scenery!"

Dahlia flicked her forehead. "You think this is a vacation?"

Clara pouted. "Why not both…?"

Eliza set a hand under her chin. "A place with balanced mana density would be ideal. Not too extreme, not too weak."

Arden nodded seriously. "Also somewhere peaceful. Patriarch Raviel's old clan… was not peaceful."

Raviel groaned. "Yes, thank you for the reminder."

Garion chuckled as he walked to the side, leaving all of them, and exhaled through his nose.

"Alright… time to see what you've got for me this time."

He tapped the air beside him like knocking on an invisible door.

"System, listen up. I saved the Revalis Branch's God Gym, beat the crap out of Grand Elder Rakir, and took all their Origins."

He smirked.

"So hand over the surprise reward. I'm ready."

The system answered instantly.

[Processing accomplishments…]

[Verifying mission completion…]

[All objectives confirmed.]

[Surprise Reward: Preparing for distribution…]

Garion waited. Nothing happened.

"…Hello? Surprise? Come on, don't tell me it's a rock or something."

Then...

SHWIP.

A bright blue map suddenly unfolded in front of him like a hologram.

Garion blinked, leaning forward.

"Huh? A map? System, don't tell me this is another treasure hunt. I swear..."

[Incorrect. Not a treasure.]

[Reward Type: Strategic Location]

Garion frowned.

"Strategic? What, you giving me a war plan?"

He squinted closer… And then his eyes widened.

There, clearly marked on the map, was a familiar symbol... the God Gym emblem.

It pointed to Demon Gate Island, his main base.

But beside it… another island.

Close enough to reach but far enough to be separate.

And that island was glowing.

Garion slapped his forehead.

"You're telling me… My reward is a coordinate? Seriously? This is it? A dot on a map? system. What kind of cheap..."

A new chime cut him off.

[New Mission Unlocked: God Clans]

Garion stopped talking. His brow lifted.

"…God Clans?"

The system continued.

[Objective: Escort the Clans of Revalis and Avenora to the Marked Coordinates.]

[Additional Objective: Submit all Origins to System.]

[Reward: God Clans Buildings]

Garion stared at the floating text for a long moment.

"…God Clans Buildings? What the hell does that even mean? A big house? A giant gym? A castle?"

No answer.

Garion groaned and ran a hand down his face.

"Great. Perfect. More mysteries. As if I don't already have a mountain of weird stuff to deal with."

But after a second, he let out a breath and smirked.

"Well… whatever. A mission's a mission. And if the reward is something with 'God' in the name…"

He cracked his knuckles and stretched his shoulders.

"…it better be damn worth it."

He dismissed the map with a flick.

"Alright, System. I'll play your game. Let's get these clans moved."

---

Garion walked back toward Raviel and Aveline, brushing dust from his hands like nothing unusual had just happened.

"Raviel, give me a map."

Before either could move, Rendric jogged over, a rolled-up map in his hands.

"Sir Garion... here."

Garion snatched it with a nod and spread it open across a broken stone pillar.

He tapped a finger on the area near Demon Gate Island.

"Alright. You two know this island, right?"

Raviel squinted. "Of course. That's your place. Demon Gate Island."

He shivered a little. "Still don't know how insane you have to be to live there willingly."

Garion grinned. "That's exactly what makes it fun. And besides, we grow way faster there."

Raviel clicked his tongue. "Don't tell me you plan on dragging our entire clan to that cursed island."

Aveline crossed her arms. "Garion. No."

Garion stared at them like they were idiots.

"Of course not. That island's mine."

He tapped another spot on the map... just a blank area of ocean.

"I'm talking about the island… right around here."

Everyone leaned in.

Raviel frowned even harder. "Garion. That's water. There's nothing there."

Aveline nodded. "That area is empty. We've scouted that region before."

Garion blinked, confused. He then opened the invisible system map only he could see.

A glowing island sat on that exact spot.

'What the… System, don't tell me you created an island out of nowhere just for this mission.'

The system didn't answer.

Garion twitched.

Raviel watched him mumble to himself and sighed.

"Garion, there is no island near Demon Gate Island. The only land there is your death playground."

Garion rolled up the map with a smirk.

"Maybe you all just missed it because nobody dares sail too close to my place. Understandable. But I'm telling you... there is something there."

Aveline raised a brow. "And you're certain?"

Garion shrugged.

"I literally saw it. Unless I suddenly developed hallucinations, which is possible but unlikely, I'd say the island is real."

Rendric rubbed his temple. "Sir Garion… are you sure this is safe?"

Garion laughed. "Safe? Probably not. But worth it? Definitely."

Raviel groaned, dragging a hand down his face.

"…I can only believe you at this point."

Garion clapped his hands. "Good! Then let's stop wasting time. Pack everything, load the ships, and follow me."

Aveline exhaled, helpless.

"Fine. But if we arrive and there's nothing..."

Garion pointed at himself proudly.

"Trust me. When have I ever brought you somewhere boring?"

Raviel snorted. "You live on Demon Gate Island."

Garion grinned. "Exactly."

And with that, they prepared the ships for departure.
