Garion squinted ahead, brushing a branch aside as the cliffside finally came into view.
"We've reached it."
Everyone behind him froze for a moment… then nearly collapsed in relief.
"FINALLY!" Clara yelled, dropping onto the ground like her soul left her body.
Eliza wiped sweat from her forehead. "If one more beast jumped at us, I would've punched Master instead."
Aveline leaned on a tree, panting. "How… how can there be so many second-realm beasts in one road…?"
Raviel groaned. "I swear this path shaved ten years off my life…"
But when they all lifted their heads and saw the place Garion pointed at...
Their expressions froze again.
Because at the end of the insane beast-infested trail…
…stood an ancient ruin, half-buried under vines and cracked stone.
Dahlia's eyes widened. She quickened her steps until she stood beside Garion, her hands trembling slightly.
"Master… this… This looks just like Demon Gate Island's ruin. Don't tell me…"
Garion didn't answer at first.
He simply stared at the massive, glowing arrow only he could see, pointing straight ahead.
Then he smirked.
"I don't know. Let's go take a look."
Raviel and Aveline exchanged stunned looks.
"That can't be possible… right?" Raviel muttered.
Aveline shook her head. "It doesn't make sense."
Behind them, Rendric gulped. "Patriarch… if this is another Origin site, we'll be blessed for generations…"
Clara stepped closer, squinting at the ruined pillars. "Why does it look like the place is waiting for us?"
Eliza stepped lightly over a broken tile. "Because it probably is."
Arden exhaled slowly, eyes locked on the structure.
"Master wouldn't drag us through three days of hell unless there was a reason."
Another loud roar echoed behind them, and a beast emerged from the forest.
Everyone tensed.
But Garion just waved a hand, gravity flattening it instantly.
He didn't even look back.
"Let's go. The ruin's calling."
Dahlia swallowed. "Master… you really think an [Origin] is inside?"
Garion gave her a sideways smile, one eyebrow raised.
"Well, the last time we followed this crazy path… we found one."
The group fell silent.
Hope sparked in every pair of eyes.
Raviel clenched his fist. "If this place really holds an Origin…"
"…then this island is truly blessed," Aveline finished.
Garion stepped forward, smirking.
"Only one way to find out."
Everyone watched in tense silence.
Garion knelt beside a mound of collapsed stone. Something faintly glowed beneath it.
He jammed his fingers into the dirt without hesitation.
Raviel leaned forward. "Wait, Garion, be careful..."
Too late.
Garion dug once, twice... then pulled.
A THUNK echoed as something smooth and round slid free from the earth.
Garion blinked… then grinned.
"Oh? Found something."
Aveline stepped closer, eyes narrowing. "Let me see..."
Garion brushed the dirt off it and lifted it into the sunlight.
A bright red [Origin] glowed in his palm.
Everyone froze.
Raviel's jaw dropped. "A-A red one?! That's the flame element!"
Dahlia gasped. "Master actually found one again?!"
But Garion wasn't done.
He reached back down, eyes sharp, sensing the mana flow beneath the ground.
His fingers dug deeper this time.
Another orb surfaced, and this one was yellow, with lightning crackling faintly across its surface.
Rynor took a step back, eyes wide. "Thunder…?! That's even better than the one Raviel brought…"
Arden frowned with disbelief. "Master… how can this place hold two Origins…?"
Garion didn't answer.
He dug again.
And on the third pull... a smooth green [Origin] rolled into his hand, releasing a soft, refreshing breeze.
Aveline's breath caught in her throat.
"That… that's a nature element. That's my clan's specialty."
Everyone went silent, staring at the three glowing orbs resting in Garion's hands.
Raviel swallowed hard.
"T-Three Origins… in one ruin…?"
Aveline placed a hand over her heart, eyes trembling.
"These aren't normal ones. The purity… it feels higher than ours. Much higher."
Eliza crouched beside Garion, studying the glow carefully.
"Master… this isn't luck. This is something else."
Clara let out a slow whistle.
"Hah… I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Every time we follow Master, something insane happens."
Dahlia crossed her arms, shaking her head."So this is what you meant by 'almost there,' huh?"
Garion finally stood up, holding all three Origins like they were fruit he casually plucked from the ground.
He looked at Raviel and Aveline with a calm, smug smile.
"Surprised?"
Raviel exhaled sharply.
"Surprised? I'm terrified! How can there be [Origins] stronger than the ones passed down through our clans?!"
Aveline nodded firmly, her voice full of disbelief.
"We searched countless regions, countless generations… and this ruin had three of them buried in one spot?"
Garion shrugged as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
"Well… when the island calls, it calls."
Raviel and Aveline exchanged a look... half awe, half exhaustion.
"…He's a walking disaster," Aveline whispered.
"…A lucky disaster," Raviel corrected.
Garion's smirk widened, eyes glinting with that familiar dangerous excitement.
"Now then… It's time for you two to build your clans properly. This place will be the perfect foundation."
Raviel and Aveline exchanged a long look, then nodded together.
Before they could speak, Dahlia stepped forward with a bright grin.
"Master… Are you going to use that again?"
Garion clicked his tongue. "Of course."
Arden blinked. "That… what exactly is 'that'?"
Rynar whispered, "Is it some super forbidden technique?"
Rynor whispered back, "Or maybe something freaky like the way he trains…?"
Clara leaned close and shuddered. "Please don't tell me it's push-ups again."
Garion shot them a glance. "It's more magical than push-ups."
The disciples tensed immediately.
Somehow that sounded worse.
Aveline frowned slightly. "Garion… What are you planning to do with the Origins?"
Raviel crossed his arms. "Yeah, you better not try something insane again."
But before either patriarch could argue, Dahlia stepped between them confidently.
"Patriarch, Matriarch, don't worry. Master's 'special magic' is… well… it's something only he can do. But it will definitely help you."
Aveline hesitated. Raviel exhaled slowly.
Then both of them gave their own [Origins] to Garion.
"Fine," Aveline said. "We'll trust you."
Raviel nodded. "You better not blow us up."
Garion took the Origins with a satisfied grin.
"Relax. I don't break things."
Every disciple behind him gave him a deadpan stare.
Garion cleared his throat. "On purpose."
He turned toward the center of the ruins, mana beginning to stir around him.
"Alright then… Let's start building your clans."
