Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 209: Island Now Under Renovation

Garion stared at the shimmering system window, brows raised.

'System, I already have all the [Origins]. What now?'

[Submit the Origins in the box below.]

A glowing square formed in front of him like an open container.

Garion shrugged. "Alright, let's get this over with."

He lifted all the Origins and dropped them into the glowing box.

And in an instant... all the Origins vanished completely.

Aveline's jaw dropped. "H-Hey! Where did...?!"

Raviel's eyes went wide as he grabbed the empty air.

"My clan's treasures...! Garion, what did you just DO?!"

The elders behind them panicked.

"Those were our lifelines!"

"Our Origins! Where did they go?!"

Garion just smirked, hands on his hips.

"Relax. They didn't disappear."

He pointed at the ground casually.

"They're about to reappear."

Everyone stared at him like he had finally lost it.

But then...

BOOOOOOM!!!

The earth trembled and the ruins shook as if the entire island started waking up.

Clara stumbled and grabbed Arden's sleeve. "W-What the hell is happening?!"

Arden braced his feet. "Master! Are you blowing up the island?!"

Garion whistled calmly. "Nope. This is normal."

Dahlia's eyes widened with recognition. Her body tensed.

"Master! CALL THE FLYING SHIPS BACK! NOW!"

Rynar blinked. "Why?!"

Dahlia pointed at the violently shaking ground.

"Because the last time this happened… Master created a WHOLE DAMN GYM OUT OF THIN AIR."

Everyone froze mid-step.

Even the elders stopped breathing.

Garion only smirked wider, shoulders shaking like he was holding back laughter.

Raviel's eyes widened, then he snapped toward the sky and shouted fast.

"Everyone, move! Get to the flying ships! NOW!"

Luckily, the fleet of flying ships had been circling overhead this whole time.

The second-realm peak cultivators on the ground reacted instantly, grabbing people and taking them back to the flying ships.

The ground split again, a loud CRACK echoing across the island.

Aveline's legs trembled.

She turned toward Garion, panic flashing in her eyes. "W-We're not dying, right?!"

Garion shrugged. "Only if you stand there. C'mon."

He bent his knees and leapt.

BOOM!

A shockwave kicked up dust as he shot upward like a cannonball, landing on one of the ships with ease.

The disciples followed immediately.

Arden grabbed Dahlia by the wrist. "Come on!"

"Like I need the help!" She snapped but still let him pull her before the ground split under her feet.

Clara sprinted with Eliza behind her, both jumping high as second-realm elders caught them midair.

Rynar and Rynor vaulted up next with bright grins.

"WOOO! BETTER THAN TRAINING!"

"Damn right! Let's go!"

Aveline nearly slipped as the earth shook again, but Raviel scooped her up in one arm like she was a sack.

"Raviel!! Put me DOWN!"

"No time!"

He kicked off the ground and jumped high, landing on the nearest ship.

Once everyone was aboard, the ships rose just as the island below cracked open completely.

From above, everyone watched in shock.

Dahlia leaned forward, gripping the railing. "Here it comes…"

Garion crossed his arms, calm as ever.

"Everyone, keep your eyes open. You don't get to see this kind of thing twice."

---

The flying ships flew higher and higher until the island below looked like a trembling beast trying to break free.

Everyone rushed to the rails, eyes wide.

Rynor gripped the metal edge. "Holy crap… it's shaking harder than before!"

Rynar's jaw hung open. "Master… What the hell did you do this time?!"

Garion only crossed his arms and smirked. "Just look. This is going to be interesting."

Dahlia groaned. "Interesting?! This looks like the whole island is about to explode!"

But Garion just tilted his head, amused. "Relax. This is normal… probably."

The island rumbled again.

BOOOOM!

A massive shockwave blew away the upper trees.

Second-realm flying beasts burst out of the forest in panic, shooting into the sky like fireworks.

Aveline held onto Raviel's sleeve. "T-There are so many! Are we safe up here?"

Raviel stared with his mouth half-open. "I don't even know…"

Down below, the entire island began to split into three massive sections, like giant puzzle pieces pulling apart.

One section glowed with violent flame energy, swirling upward in red waves.

Another crackled with blazing thunder energy, arcs of lightning dancing like a storm trapped in a cage.

The last area surged with nature energy, green particles rising like pollen in a summer breeze.

Eliza blinked rapidly. "It looks… alive."

Clara pointed, stunned. "No! Look at the ground!"

Everyone stared as giant stone slabs and massive pieces of earth floated upward on their own, drifting like they weighed nothing.

They then clicked into places, forming walls, beams, etc., until the island was literally the building itself.

And the style...

It wasn't like any clan or sect architecture they'd ever seen.

Aveline leaned forward, squinting hard.

"Why… why do the structures look so clean? Everything is so… straight. No curves, no carvings… nothing!"

Raviel rubbed his face with both hands.

"Why are the roofs flat? Why are the walls… shiny? What are those glass-looking things? Windows? Why do we need that many windows?!"

Dahlia let out a nervous laugh, shoulders sagging.

"Because Master doesn't build like a cultivator. He doesn't care about ancient styles or fancy carvings. He builds for function, not tradition."

Arden nodded firmly beside her.

"Yeah. Minimalist and organized. Easier to live in, easier to train in."

He glanced down at the perfectly aligned, modern buildings.

"…And honestly, easier to clean too."

The elders stared in pure disbelief.

"What kind of architecture is this…?"

"Does this count as a sect?"

"Or a fort?"

"Or a… a mansion?"

"Why is everything so straight?!"

"Why is it shining?!"

Garion only grinned wider, watching the island reshape itself.

He stretched his arms overhead and cracked his neck.

"Alright. It's almost finished."

He turned toward everyone on the ships, smirking.

"C'mon. Let's go check out your new place."

The elders gulped. Raviel and Aveline exchanged looks. The disciples trembled with anticipation.

Whatever waited for them below… It definitely wasn't going to be normal.
