「The next morning.」
As expected, Little Treasure simply refused to get up, throwing a tantrum with his little bottom stuck in the air.
"I won't go! I won't go!"
"School is too tiring! I don't want to go!"
What's all this about accompanying my older sister and brothers to school? Sleeping is way more important!
Erbao posted the photo they took yesterday morning on Weibo.

"Weren't you supposed to take us to school? You only stuck with it for one day. Today is the first day you're late! Little Treasure, your big sister is leaving this comment here to remind you!"
They were busy from September all the way through November.
When the results for the weekly tests, monthly tests, and midterm exams were released, Dabao's science scores had skyrocketed to an unreachable level. As the one in second place, Erbao could only sigh.
Without a doubt, the top four ranks in the second year of high school belonged to the quadruplets.
After the exams were over, Dabao went to find Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi. In the study, Dabao pursed his lips, choosing his words carefully.
"Dad, Mom, I... I didn't actually give it my all on this exam."
"I was busy with an experiment, so, um, I only put in a little effort."
Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi didn't quite understand what their genius son was getting at.
Lin Feng thought for a moment. "So?"
"So, I was thinking, if that's the case, there's no point in me continuing to study like this. It's not interesting anymore!"
"I've already finished all the third-year material, and I figure the rest will be more of the same. So, I plan to go to MIT next semester."
Dabao's announcement seemed both logical and slightly unexpected. He had considered it before but couldn't bring himself to make a decision, reluctant to leave his family. This time, however, he found high school knowledge to be genuinely boring. So, he decided to skip grades and head to college. He was confident that Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi would support him.
Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi exchanged a glance. Despite their reluctance to let him go, they knew their child had grown up and would one day need to soar. Having been through this themselves, they understood.
Lin Feng nodded. "We both support your decision. Do your brother and sisters know?"
Dabao nodded. "They know."
Lin Feng said no more. "Alright, then. You don't have to go back to school after this semester ends."
Dabao stood up. "Thank you, Dad and Mom, for your support."
After Dabao left, the couple couldn't help but sigh. That day had finally arrived.
That Friday night, An Lan and her family came to visit, and the conversation turned to school. An Lan had plenty to say.
"You all know which university your mom graduated from, right?"
The quadruplets and Lin Feng all grew curious. None of them had ever asked, and Zhang Yuxi had never mentioned it. So, they had no idea.
An Lan looked at them in surprise. "No way, you don't know?"
"Eh, it's one thing for the kids not to know, but Director Lin, how could you not know?"
Lin Feng asked with a smile, "Which university?"
"Harvard, of course!" An Lan answered.
She then turned to Zhang Yuxi, who was just coming downstairs.
"You never told them which university you graduated from?"
"But I did," Zhang Yuxi replied.
Lin Feng remembered very clearly. "You did not!"
Zhang Yuxi was even more surprised than Lin Feng. "I didn't? I really feel like I mentioned it! You probably just never asked."
In the children's eyes, their mom graduating from Harvard wasn't strange at all; she was super amazing, after all!
Speaking of Harvard, An Lan began reminiscing about her and Zhang Yuxi's younger days. What the quadruplets hadn't expected was that their gentle, composed, and elegant mother had once been so trendy, spending money without batting an eye. Not like now, so frugal and focused on managing the household...
After fondly recalling her salad days, An Lan spontaneously suggested a trip abroad.
"When the kids are on vacation, we should go out and have some fun."
Now that her two children were more independent, she could finally take some time for herself.
And so, the two families made a pact. Once the children's break started, they would travel abroad for some fun and a wild shopping spree.
「In the blink of an eye, the children's vacation arrived.」
Lin Feng and Zhang Yuxi never had to worry about their children's grades. The kids were so self-sufficient all year that their parents hadn't even had to attend a single parent-teacher conference. All they had to do was make sure the kids ate well. There was no need for tutoring or cram school...
Now, for instance, Lin Feng was taking Little Treasure to his early education class, catering to their pampered youngest son.
This time, as soon as the vacation started, An Lan brought her two sons to join Lin Feng's family. Thinking it over, Lin Feng decided to invite Lin Jiajun's family of four as well. It was the perfect opportunity to use the private jet the system had rewarded him with.
That evening, as Lin Feng had requested, An Lan and her two sons, along with Lin Jiajun's family of four, arrived at the East Airport. After airport staff confirmed their identities, they were led through a special access channel. An Lan just assumed Lin Feng had a Black Gold Card that afforded such services at the airport and didn't think much of it. Because of the weather, there were no direct flights to their destination, only connecting ones.
They waited and waited, and finally, Lin Feng's group arrived. Lin Feng was carrying Little Treasure, while the quadruplets handled their parents' luggage. Having learned they were going on a trip, Little Treasure was wide awake and full of energy in Lin Feng's arms, long past his bedtime.
The relationship between Lin Jiajun's family and An Lan's was excellent, of course. Lin Jiajun grabbed several suitcases, ready to take them to be checked. An Lan, planning a major shopping haul, had brought three large suitcases herself.
"No need to check them. It's not necessary," Lin Feng said.
Everyone exchanged confused glances, wondering what Lin Feng was up to.
Just then, a staff member approached and, with a respectful and enthusiastic demeanor, led them to an airplane.
Facing their bewildered expressions, Lin Feng explained, "This is a private jet I bought."
Instead of shock, everyone reacted with joy. It was their first time seeing such a large private jet!
The quadruplets knew their family was well-off, but they had never imagined this level of wealth, thinking they just owned a few shops. Dabao had agonized for ages before even bringing up the tens of millions needed for his equipment. After the purchase, the four of them had become even more frugal...
There must not be much money left in the family!
Later, when they received acceptance letters from various schools, they looked into the tuition fees and all agreed to get part-time jobs. Those with savings would contribute, and those without would work to earn their tuition.
We still have a pampered little brother to raise at home. We should save wherever we can.
The quadruplets looked at each other, their eyes all asking the same question. Are we really this rich?
Erbao whispered, "You can buy a private jet for just a few hundred thousand or tens of millions these days. This probably wasn't that expensive!"
The jet came with a crew of five: two pilots and three flight attendants to look after them.
Once everyone was inside, even Lin Feng was taken aback, to say nothing of the others.
The exterior of the jet alone was dazzling. It had a short, pointed nose and a long, sleek fuselage. The low-set main wings featured upturned winglets, and it had a T-shaped tail. Two engines were mounted at the rear of the aircraft, the square windows along the sides were a nice touch, and the paint job was gorgeous.
At 35 meters long with a 33-meter wingspan and a height of 8.5 meters, it was a large, long-range business jet. Powered by two turbofan engines, it had a maximum range of 17,260 kilometers and a top speed of 982 kilometers per hour.
The interior featured four living spaces, a large double bed, and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and coffee machine. There was a solid wood dining table suitable for group meals or meetings, a bar for mixing drinks, and a restroom and shower.
After boarding, everyone couldn't help but wander around and explore. They gasped in amazement; such a luxurious private jet had to be worth over a hundred million.
While the others were busy exploring, Lin Feng greeted the two pilots.
"Mr. Lin, hello. It's an honor to serve you."
"Hello. Thank you for your hard work on this trip."
"Not at all, not at all. It's our pleasure."
Soon, it was time, and the plane took off.
The four older siblings showed Little Treasure around, with Lin Jiajun's and An Lan's families following behind. It was impossible not to feel a little envious. With such a luxurious private jet, long-haul flights were no longer an ordeal, and the hassle of transfers was a thing of the past.
An Lan felt that shopping was nothing special anymore. Just getting to ride on such an opulent private jet made the whole trip worthwhile.
"Director Lin, where are we headed?" An Lan asked.
Out of habit, Lin Feng was in the kitchen, checking the facilities. He had prepared many things for the trip, and they would finally come in handy.
"Oh, we're going to Boston," he replied.
He had chosen this location because both Harvard and MIT were there. Dabao was planning to start at MIT after this semester, so this was a good chance to let him get familiar with the environment. It was also an opportunity for the other kids to see the two renowned universities.
Zhang Yuxi was surprised. "Boston, huh... Does that mean I should go back and visit Harvard?"
Lin Feng opened a cabinet, answering without looking up. "Sure. If your old mentor is still teaching there, you could invite him out for a meal or give him a small gift."
That was a good idea.
Thanks to the comfortable environment, the long flight became much less arduous. Once the initial novelty wore off, everyone was sound asleep by midnight.
